This paper is concerned with the problem of robust exponential stability analysis for uncertain discrete recurrent neural networks with time-varying delays. In terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, some novel stability conditions are proposed via a new Lyapunov function. Neither any model transformation nor free-weighting matrices are employed in our theoretical derivation. The established stability criteria significantly improve and simplify some existing stability conditions. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.  相似文献

This paper deals with the delay-dependent asymptotic stability analysis problem for a class of fuzzy bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with time delays in the leakage term by Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy model. The nonlinear delayed BAM neural networks are first established as a modified T–S fuzzy model in which the consequent parts are composed of a set of BAM neural networks with time-varying delays. The parameter uncertainties are assumed to be norm bounded. Some new delay-dependent stability conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequality by constructing a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and introducing some free-weighting matrices. Even there is no leakage delay, the obtained results are also less restrictive than some recent works. It can be applied to BAM neural networks with activation functions without assuming their boundedness, monotonicity, or differentiability. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

This paper addresses the stability problem of fuzzy large-scale systems (FLSSs) with uncertainties and arbitrary time-varying delays. The stability conditions, which are less conservative and more applicable than the existing results, are derived by a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). This paper studies the problem of stability analysis for discrete-time recurrent neural networks (DRNNs) with time-varying delays. By using the discrete Jensen inequality and the sector bound conditions, a new less conservative delay-dependent stability criterion is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) under a weak assumption on the activation functions. By using a delay decomposition method, a further improved stability criterion is also derived. It is shown that the newly obtained results are less conservative than the existing ones. Meanwhile, the computational complexity of the newly obtained stability conditions is reduced since less variables are involved. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness and the benefits of the proposed method.  相似文献

This study investigates the problem of robust model predictive control (RMPC) for active suspension systems with time-varying delays and input constraints. The uncertainty is of convex polytopic type. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method, sufficient stability conditions of the time-varying delays systems are derived by linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) terms. At each time set, a feasible state feedback is obtained by minimizing an upper bound of the ‘worst-case’ quadratic objective function over an infinite horizon subject to constraints on inputs. Finally, a quarter-vehicle model is exploited to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

研究了具有多时变状态和控制时滞的Lurie控制系统基于线性矩阵不等式(LMI)的绝对稳定性条件.首先,构造了关于Lyapunov泛函中正定矩阵和积分项系数等自由参数的LMI,获得了系统时滞无关绝对稳定条件.进一步引入自由权矩阵来表示牛顿-莱布尼兹公式中各项的相互关系,得到了系统绝对稳定的时滞相关条件.最后,通过一个实例阐述了本文方法的有效性和相比已有结果的优越性.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the stability analysis and the stabilization problem for a discrete-time Markovian jump fuzzy systems (MJFSs) with time-varying delays and partially known transition probabilities. These systems are made more general, by relaxing the traditional assumption in MJFSs that all the transition probabilities must be completely known. The class of MJFSs considered is described by a fuzzy model composed of two levels: a crisp level that represents the jumps and a fuzzy level that represents the system nonlinearities. Based on a stochastic Lyapunov function, stability and stabilization conditions for the MJFSs with time-varying delays are derived in both the case of completely known transition probabilities and the case of partially known transition probabilities. The derived conditions are represented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a numerical example is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed theorem.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problems of delay‐dependent stability and static output feedback (SOF) control of two‐dimensional (2‐D) discrete systems with interval time‐varying delays, which are described by the Fornasini‐Marchesini (FM) second model. The upper and lower bounds of delays are considered. Applying a new method of estimating the upper bound on the difference of Lyapunov function that does not ignore any terms, a new delay‐dependent stability criteria based on linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is derived. Then, given the lower bounds of time‐varying delays, the maximum upper bounds in the above LMIs are obtained through computing a convex optimization problem. Based on the stability criteria, the SOF control problem is formulated in terms of a bilinear matrix inequality (BMI). With the use of the slack variable technique, a sufficient LMI condition is proposed for the BMI. Moreover, the SOF gain can be solved by LMIs. Numerical examples show the effectiveness and advantages of our results.  相似文献

The objective of this paper is to analyze the stability analysis of neutral-type neural networks with additive time-varying delay and leakage delay. By constructing a suitable augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional with triple and four integral terms, some new stability criteria are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which is easily solved by various convex optimization techniques. More information of the lower and upper delay bounds of time-varying delays are used to derive the stability criteria, which can lead less conservative results. The obtained conditions are expressed with linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) whose feasible can be checked easily by MATLAB LMI control toolbox. Finally, two numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Based on the newly established integral inequalities, the neutral-delay-dependent and discrete-delay-dependent stability criterion is derived without using a fixed model transformation. In this paper, the global exponential stability and global asymptotic stability of the neural networks with impulsive effect and time varying delays is investigated. By using Lyapunov–Krasovskii-type functional, the quality of negative definite matrix and Cauchy criterion, we obtain the sufficient conditions for global exponential stability and global asymptotic stability of such model, in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI), which depend on the delays. This paper is concerned with the problem of the robust stability of nonlinear delayed Hopfield neural networks (HNNs) with Markovian jumping parameters by Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model. The nonlinear delayed HNNs are first established as a modified T-S fuzzy model in which the consequent parts are composed of a set of Markovian jumping HNNs with interval delays. Time delays here are assumed to be time-varying and belong to the given intervals. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii stability theory and linear matrix inequality approach, stability conditions are proposed in terms of the upper and lower bounds of the delays. Stability conditions for time‐delay systems using the Lyapunov‐based methodologies are generically expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities. However, due to assuming restrictive conditions in deriving the linear matrix inequalities, the established stability conditions can be strictly conservative. This paper attempts to relax this problem for linear systems with interval time‐varying delays. A double‐integral inequality is derived inspired by Wirtinger‐based single‐integral inequality. Using the advanced integral inequalities, the reciprocally convex combination techniques and necessary slack variables, together with extracting a condition for the positive definiteness of the Lyapunov functional, novel stability criteria, have been established for the system. The effectiveness of the criteria is evaluated via 2 numerical examples. The results indicate that more complex stability criteria not only improve the stability region but also bring computational expenses.  相似文献

This paper analyzes the stability of networked control systems (NCSs) with data packet dropout and transmission delays induced by communication channels. Discrete‐time NCSs with data packet dropout and transmission delays are modeled as linear systems with time‐varying delays. Sufficient conditions for the stability of the NCSs are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) by using the Lyapunov function method. The case of NCSs with multiple‐packet transmission is also studied. A numerical example is presented to illustrate our proposed approach.  相似文献

For a sampled-data control system with nonuniform sampling, the sampling interval sequence, which is continuously distributed in a given interval, is described as a multiple independent and identically distributed (i.i.d.) process. With this process, the closed-loop system is transformed into an asynchronous dynamical impulsive model with input delays. Sufficient conditions for the closed-loop mean-square exponential stability are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), in which the relation between the nonuniform sampling and the mean-square exponential stability of the closed-loop system is explicitly established. Based on the stability conditions, the controller design method is given, which is further formulated as a convex optimization problem with LMI constraints. Numerical examples and experiment results are given to show the effectiveness and the advantages of the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the stability of some class of delay systems, including uncertainty in the delays. More precisely, we are interested in guaranteeing the stability of perturbed delay systems by assuming the stability of the nominal system. If the delay perturbation is constant, necessary and sufficient conditions are derived in terms of generalized eigenvalue distribution of some (finite-dimensional) constant matrix pencil. If the delay perturbation is time-varying, some sufficient stability conditions are derived using "exact" Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals. Illustrative examples are also included.  相似文献

讨论了具有不确定性和多时变时滞的网络控制系统(NCSs)的时滞相关稳定性. 针对一类多输入多输出(MIMO)的NCSs, 在考虑网络时滞和不确定性的情况下, 建立了该系统的数学模型. 利用Lyapunov稳定性理论和线性矩阵不等式(LMI)方法, 提出了新的基于LMI形式的时滞相关稳定条件. 该方法克服了已有方法的保守性且结果更具有一般性. 最后给出实例表明该方法与现有文献结果相比, 具有较小的保守性和更好的有效性.  相似文献
