Conclusions The wetting of lanthanum hexaboride by copper is accompanied by the establishment of a bond between them which has a chemical character. Raising the temperature markedly improves wetting, full wetting being attained at a temperature of 1770°K. Nickel in the LaB6-(Cu-Ni) system constitutes a weak interface-active addition. The chemical reaction of Cu+5% Ni, Cu+10% Ni, and Cu+15% Ni alloys with lanthanum hexaboride takes place with the formation of a new phase enriched in nickel.Translated from Poroshkovaya Metallurgiya, No. 7(223), pp. 68–72, July, 1981.  相似文献

Summary The optical properties of the hexaborides of lanthanum and cerium were investigated in the infrared region of the spectrum. It is shown that lanthanum hexaboride possesses marked semiconductor properties with a width of the prohibited zone of 0.08 eV. Cerium hexaboride is of a metallic nature.  相似文献

A consistent system is contructed for models of phase equilibria in the binary systems La−B, Zr−B, and La−Zr and the ternary system La−Zr−B. The models are used to calculate the liquidus curve for the quasibinary section of LaB6−ZrB6. Calculations are in good agreement with experimental data. The system of models developed makes it possible to predict the effect of alloying elements on the shape of the liquidus surface. The paper studies the effect of laser processing on the structure and electrophysical properties of LaB6-based thick film resistors (TFR). The phases and structure of the composition are investigated. The exposure to micro-and nanosecond pulses, unlike millisecond ones, is shown to insignificantly increase the electrical resistance of the film and to aid in forming more uniform and fine TFR structure. LaB6-based TFRs are more resistant to long-term exposure to nanosecond laser radiation than BaB6-and (BaB6-LaB6)-based ones.  相似文献

采用碳化硼还原法制备LaB6.为了提高LaB6的纯度,先将原料碳化硼进行化学处理,再用其还原氧化镧,并经酸洗、蒸馏水洗等步骤制备出Fe含量低于0.01%、C含量低于0.02%的LaB6粉末.整个工艺过程LaB6的收率为79.5%.  相似文献
