A series of cerium modified MnOx/TiO2 catalysts were prepared by sol–gel method and used for low-temperature selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx with ammonia. The experimental results showed that NO conversion could be improved by doping Ce from 39% to 84% at 80 °C with a gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) of 40,000 h−1. This activity improvement may be contributed to the increase of chemisorbed oxygen and acidity after Ce doping. TPR results also verified that the redox property of Ce modified MnOx/TiO2 was enhanced at low-temperature.  相似文献

MnCu/ZrO2T and MnCu/TiO2T (T = calcination temperature) catalysts were prepared by the sol-gel method with a Mn:Cu = 5:1 ratio and calcined at different temperatures, T = 673, 873 and 1073 K. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, measurement of specific surface area, temperature programmed reduction, XPS and FT-IR spectroscopy. For both groups of catalysts, the increase of calcination temperature produced three effects: the segregation of phases, an increase of the crystallinity, and a phase transformation of the support. The catalytic activity was evaluated in total oxidation of ethanol, considered as model molecule of VOC. The MnCu/TiO2 673 and MnCu/ZrO2 873 catalysts showed the best catalytic performance, which was associated with the high dispersion of the MnOx and CuOx active phases. The catalytic activity of MnCu/TiO2 673 catalyst was also favored by its high surface area.  相似文献

Meldola blue immobilized on a new SiO2/TiO2/graphite composite was applied in the electrocatalytic oxidation of NADH. The materials were prepared by the sol-gel processing method and characterized by several techniques including scanning electronic microscopy coupled to energy dispersive spectroscopy (SEM-EDS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and high-resolution transmission electronic microscopy (HRTEM). Si and Ti mapping profiles on the surface showed a homogeneous distribution of the components. Ti2p binding energy peaks indicate that the formation of Si-O-Ti linkage is presumably the responsible for the high rigidity of the matrices. The good electrical conductivity presented by the composites (5 and 11 S cm−1) can be related to a homogeneous distribution of graphite particles observed by TEM. After the materials characterization, a SiO2/TiO2/graphite electrode was prepared and some chemical modifications were performed on its surface to promote the adsorption of meldola blue. The resulting system presented electrocatalytic properties toward the oxidation of NADH, decreasing the oxidation potential to −120 mV. The proposed sensor showed a wide linear response range from 0.018 to 7.29 mmol l−1 and limit of detection of 0.008 mmol l−1. SiO2/TiO2/graphite has shown to be a promising material to be used as a suitable support in the construction of new electrochemical sensors.  相似文献

TiO2- and CeO2-promoted bulk Ni2P catalysts were prepared by impregnation and in-situ H2 temperature-programmed reduction method. The prepared catalysts were characterized by XRD and XPS. The hydrogenation activities of the catalysts were studied using 1.5 wt.% 1-heptene in toluene and 1.0 wt.% phenylacetylene in ethanol as the model feeds. The results indicate that bulk Ni2P possesses low hydrogenation activity but is tunable by simply controlling the content of the additives (TiO2 or CeO2), suggesting that TiO2 and CeO2 are effective promoters to enhance the hydrogenation activity of Ni2P.  相似文献

This paper describes a novel simple redox process for synthesizing monodispersed MnO2 powders and preparation of spherical LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 cathode materials by molten salt synthesis (MSS) method. Monodispersed MnO2 powders have been synthesized by using potassium permanganate and manganese sulfate as the starting materials. By using this redox method, it was found that monodispersed MnO2 powders with average particle size ∼5 μm can be easily obtained. Resultant MnO2 and LiOH, Ni(OH)2 was then used to synthesis LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 cathode materials with retention of spherical particle shape by MSS method. The discharge capacity was 129 mAh g−1 in the first cycle and 127 mAh g−1 after 50 cycles under an optimal synthesis condition for 12 h at 800 °C.  相似文献

The oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) was studied at carbon supported MoOx-Pt/C and TiOx-Pt nanocatalysts in 0.5 mol dm−3 HClO4 solution, at 25 °C. The MoOx-Pt/C and TiOx-Pt/C catalysts were prepared by the polyole method combined by MoOx or TiOx post-deposition. Home made catalysts were characterized by TEM and EDX techniques. It was found that catalyst nanoparticles were homogenously distributed over the carbon support with a mean particle size about 2.5 nm. Quite similar distribution and particle size was previously obtained for Pt/C catalyst. Results confirmed that MoOx and TiOx post-deposition did not lead to a significant growth of the Pt nanoparticles. The ORR kinetics was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and linear sweep voltammetry at the rotating disc electrode. These results showed the existence of two E − log j regions, usually observed with polycrystalline Pt in acid solution. It was proposed that the main path in the ORR mechanism on MoOx-Pt/C and TiOx-Pt/C catalysts was the direct four-electron process with the transfer of the first electron as the rate-determining step. The increase in catalytic activity for ORR on MoOx-Pt/C and TiOx-Pt/C catalysts, in comparison with Pt/C catalyst, was explained by synergetic effects due to the formation of the interface between the platinum and oxide materials and by spillover due to the surface diffusion of oxygen reaction intermediates.  相似文献

The Au/MnO x /TiO2 catalyst was used for the photocatalytic oxidation of carbon monoxide. The catalytic activity of Au/MnO x /TiO2 with low concentration of manganese (3–7 mol%) was much higher than that of Au/TiO2. The surface of Au/MnO x /TiO2 was characterized by XPS and Raman spectroscopy. While the main state of manganese in 13.8 mol% MnO x /TiO2 was Mn4+ species, Mn3+ was the dominant species in the samples with below 6.5 mol% manganese. Raman spectroscopy revealed that the interaction between the MnO x and TiO2 form Mn–O–Ti species in which the state of manganese was Mn3+. The Au particles also interacted with both MnO x and TiO2 to modify the surface of them. In the case of the Au species, low loading of manganese produced the metallic Au0 and perimeter interfacial Auδ+, whereas high loading showed the coexistence of three components which were metallic Au0, perimeter interfacial Auδ+, and oxidic Au3+. The catalytic active component was the metallic Au0 and perimeter interfacial Auδ+ species, which were dispersed on TiO2 and Mn3+/TiO2.  相似文献

Mn-Ce-OX catalysts loaded on TiO2-carbonaceous materials were prepared by sol-gel method. Selective catalytic reduction of NOX was conducted in a fixed-bed flow-reactor over catalysts coated on aluminum plates. A de-NOX efficiency of more than 90% was obtained over the Mn-Ce-OX/TiO2-carbon nanotubes (CNTs) catalyst between 75 °C and 225 °C under a gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) of ~ 36,000 h−1. This activity improvement is attributed to the increase of the BET surface area, and the occurrence of reaction between adsorbed NOX and NH3. Moreover, the de-NOX efficiency was increased to 99.6% by adding 250 ppm SO2 between 100 °C and 250 °C.  相似文献

Au@TiO2 core/shell nanoparticles were synthesized by a simple and efficient one-step method using tetrabutyl titanate as TiO2 precursor. The samples were characterized by TEM, XRD, UV–vis and XPS. The experiments demonstrated that the average particles size of Au was 10–15 nm, and the thickness of TiO2 shell was 1–3 nm. TiO2 shell induced a red-shift of the absorption peak of Au. This material exhibited catalytic activity for CO oxidation. This study offered an approach for CO oxidation by using Au@TiO2 model catalysts.  相似文献

Novel carbon supported Pt/SnOx/C catalysts with Pt:Sn atomic ratios of 5:5, 6:4, 7:3 and 8:2 were prepared by a modified polyol method and characterized with respect to their structural properties (X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM)), chemical composition (XPS), their electrochemical properties (base voltammetry, COad stripping) and their electrocatalytic activity and selectivity for ethanol oxidation (ethanol oxidation reaction (EOR)). The data show that the Pt/SnOx/C catalysts are composed of Pt and tin oxide nanoparticles with an average Pt particle diameter of about 2 nm. The steady-state activity of the Pt/SnOx/C catalysts towards the EOR decreases with tin content at room temperature, but increases at 80 °C. On all Pt/SnOx/C catalysts, acetic acid and acetaldehyde represent dominant products, CO2 formation contributes 1-3% for both potentiostatic and potentiodynamic reaction conditions. With increasing potential, the acetaldehyde yield decreases and the acetic acid yield increases. The apparent activation energies of the EOR increase with tin content (19-29 kJ mol−1), but are lower than on Pt/C (32 kJ mol−1). The somewhat better performance of the Pt/SnOx/C catalysts compared to alloyed PtSnx/C catalysts is attributed to the presence of both sufficiently large Pt ensembles for ethanol dehydrogenation and C-C bond splitting and of tin oxide for OH generation. Fuel cell measurements performed for comparison largely confirm the results obtained in model studies.  相似文献

The Au/MnOx-CeO2 catalysts used for CO preferential oxidation were prepared by deposition-precipitation with ultrasonic assistance. The effect of calcination temperature (150-350 °C) on the structures and catalytic performance of the catalysts was systematically investigated. It is found that the catalyst Au/MnOx-CeO2 calcined at 250 °C exhibits the best catalytic performance, giving not only the highest CO conversion of 90.9% but also the highest selectivity of oxygen to CO2 at 120 °C. The results of XRD, TEM and XPS indicate that this catalyst possesses the smallest particle size, the highest dispersion of Au species and the largest amount of surface adsorbed oxygen species, which are favorable to CO oxidation. The H2-TPR results reveal that the selectivity of oxygen to CO2 is mainly determined by the reducibility of Au species in the catalysts. The strong interaction between Au species and the support in Au/MnOx-CeO2-250 decreases its capability for H2 dissociation and oxidation, leading to high selectivity of oxygen to CO2.  相似文献

Rod-like CaxSiOx + 2 catalysts were synthesized by using one-pot hydrothermal method. Catalysts calcined at 550 °C were used in the transesterification reaction of soybean oil with methanol. Under methanol reflux condition, FAME yields of 82% and 95% were achieved on Ca4SiO6 in a reaction time of 1 and 2 h, separately. Also, the FAME yields on different CaxSiOx + 2 catalysts were correlated with their basic properties. Besides, a FAME yield of ca. 80% can be achieved under room temperature over Ca4SiO6 catalyst.  相似文献

MnOx–CeO2 mixed oxide catalysts prepared by sol–gel method were tested for the catalytic combustion of chlorobenzene (CB), as a model of chlorinated aromatic volatile organic compounds (CVOCs). MnOx–CeO2 catalysts with the different ratio of Mn/Ce + Mn were found to possess high catalytic activity for catalytic combustion of CB, and MnOx(0.86)–CeO2 was the most active catalyst, on which the complete combustion temperature (T90%) of chlorobenzene was 236 °C. The stability of MnOx–CeO2 catalysts in the CB combustion was investigated. MnOx–CeO2 catalysts with high Mn/Ce + Mn ratios present high stable activity, which is related to their high ability to remove Cl species adsorbed and a large amount of active surface oxygen.  相似文献

Lithium manganese oxides have attracted much attention as cathode materials for lithium secondary batteries in view of their high capacity and low toxicity. In this study, layered manganese oxide (δ-KxMnO2) has been synthesized by thermal decomposition of KMnO4, and four lithium manganese oxide phases have been synthesized for the first time by mild hydrothermal reactions of this material with different lithium compounds. The lithium manganese oxides were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), inductively coupled plasma emission (ICPE) spectroscopy, and chemical redox titration. The four materials obtained are rock salt structure Li2MnO3, hollandite (BaMn8O16) structure α-MnO2, spinel structure LiMn2O4, and birnessite structure LixMnO2. Their electrochemical properties used as cathode material for secondary lithium batteries have been investigated. Of the four lithium manganese oxides, birnessite structure LixMnO2 demonstrated the most stable cycling behavior with high Coulombic efficiency. Its reversible capacity reaches 155 mAh g−1, indicating that it is a viable cathode material for lithium secondary batteries.  相似文献

Composite G/PPy/PPy(La1−xSrxMnO3)/PPy electrodes made of the perovskite La1−xSrxMnO3 embedded into a polypyrrole (PPy) layer, sandwiched between two pure PPy films, electrodeposited on a graphite support were investigated for electrocatalysis of the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). PPy and PPy(La1−xSrxMnO3) (0≤ x ≤0.4) successive layers have been obtained on polished and pretreated graphite electrodes following sequential electrodeposition technique. The electrolytes used in the electrodeposition process were Ar saturated 0.1 mol dm−3 pyrrole (Py) plus 0.05 mol dm−3 K2SO4 with and without containing a suspension of 8.33 g L−1 oxide powder. Films were characterized by XRD, SEM, linear sweep voltammetry, cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance (EI) spectroscopy. Electrochemical investigations were carried out at pH 12 in a 0.5 mol dm−3 K2SO4 plus 5 mmol dm−3 KOH, under both oxygenated and deoxygenated conditions. Results indicate that the porosity of the PPy matrix is considerably enhanced in presence of oxide particles. Sr substitution is found to have little influence on the electrocatalytic activity of the composite electrode towards the ORR. However, the rate of oxygen reduction decreases with decreasing pH of the electrolyte from pH 12 to pH 6. It is noteworthy that in contrast to a non-composite electrode of the same oxide in film form, the composite electrode exhibits much better electrocatalytic activity for the ORR.  相似文献

Layered Li[Ni0.5−xMn0.5−xZr2x]O2 (x = 0, 0.025) have been prepared by the mixed hydroxide and molten-salt synthesis method. The individual particles of synthesized materials have a sub-microsize range of 200-500 nm, and LiNi0.475Mn0.475Zr0.05O2 has a rougher surface than that of LiNi0.5Mn0.5O2. The Li/Li[Ni0.5−xMn0.5−xZr2x]O2 (x = 0, 0.025) electrodes were cycled between 4.5 and 2.0 V at a current density of 15 mA/g, the discharge capacity of both cells increased during the first ten cycles. The discharge capacity of the Li/LiNi0.475Mn0.475Zr0.05O2 cell increased from 150 to 220 mAh/g, which is 50 mAh/g larger than that of the Li/LiNi0.5Mn0.5O2 cell. We found that the oxidation of oxygen and the Mn3+ ion concerned this phenomenon from the cyclic voltammetry (CV). Thermal stability of the charged Li[Ni0.5−xMn0.5−xZr2x]O2 (x = 0, 0.025) cathode was improved by Zr doping.  相似文献

Composite ceramics based on (1 − x)Mg2TiO4-xCaTiO3-y wt.% ZnNb2O6 (x = 0.12-0.16, y = 0-8) were prepared by a conventional mixed-oxide route. Zn2+ partially replaced Mg2+ in Mg2TiO4 and formed the spinel-structured (Mg1−δZnδ)2TiO4 phase. Nb2+, is known to be solid soluble in CaTiO3, was found to change its shape from cubic to pliable. A bi-phase system (Mg1−δZnδ)2TiO4 and CaTiO3 exhibited in all samples, where a small amount of second phase Mg1−δZnδTiO3 was also detected. The microwave dielectric properties of specimens were strongly related to ZnNb2O6 and CaTiO3 content. As y increased, ?r and τf decreased, however, Q × f decreased to a minimum value and started to increase thereafter. It was also found that ?r and τf increased and Q × f decreased with increasing x. The optimized microwave dielectric properties with ?r = 18.37, Q × f = 31,027 GHz (at 6 GHz), and τf = 0.51 ppm/°C were achieved for (1 − x)Mg2TiO4-xCaTiO3-y wt.% ZnNb2O6 (x = 0.12, y = 4) sintered at 1360 °C for 6 h.  相似文献

Titania-modified silicas with different weight% of TiO2 were prepared by sol–gel method and used as supports for Pd (1 wt%) catalysts. The obtained materials were tested in the oxidation of methane under lean conditions in absence and in presence of SO2. Test reactions were consecutively performed in order to evaluate the thermal stability and poisoning reversibility. Increasing amounts of TiO2 improved the catalytic activity, with an optimum of the performance for 10 wt% TiO2 loading. Moreover, the titania-containing catalysts exhibited a superior tolerance towards SO2 by either adding it to the reactants or feeding it as a pure pretreatment atmosphere at 350 °C. Catalysts were characterized by XPS, XRD, FT-IR and BET measurements. According to the structural and surface analyses, the mixed oxides contained Si–O–Ti linkages which were interpreted as being responsible for the enhanced intrinsic activity of supported PdO with respect to PdO on either pure SiO2 or pure TiO2. Moreover, the preferential interaction of the sulfur molecule with TiO2 and the easy SOx desorption from high surface area silica were the determining factors for the superior SO2 tolerance of the TiO2-doped catalysts.  相似文献

(LaxSr1−x)MnO3 (LSMO) and (LaxSr1−x)FeO3 (LSFO) (x = 0.2–0.4) ceramics prepared by a simple and effective reaction-sintering process were investigated. Without any calcination involved, La2O3 and SrCO3 were mixed with MnO2 (LSMO) or Fe2O3 (LSFO) then pressed and sintered directly. LSMO and LSFO ceramics were obtained after 2 and 4 h sintering at 1350–1400 and 1200–1280 °C, respectively. Grain size decreased as La content increased in LSMO and LSFO ceramics.  相似文献

Highly crystalline spinel LiMn2O4 was successfully synthesized by annealing lithiated MnO2 at a relative low temperature of 600 °C, in which the lithiated MnO2 was prepared by chemical lithiation of the electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD) and LiI. The LiI/MnO2 ratio and the annealing temperature were optimized to obtain the pure phase LiMn2O4. With the LiI/MnO2 molar ratio of 0.75, and annealing temperature of 600 °C, the resulting compounds showed a high initial discharge capacity of 127 mAh g−1 at a current rate of 40 mAh g−1. Moreover, it exhibited excellent cycling and high rate capability, maintaining 90% of its initial capacity after 100 charge-discharge cycles, at a discharge rate of 5 C, it kept more than 85% of the reversible capacity compared with that of 0.1 C.  相似文献
