Nowadays, online auctions have become the most successful business model in the electronic marketplace. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, no other work has been devoted to the prediction of closing price and duration of Business-to-Business (B2B) English reverse online auctions in which goods or service providers compete with each other to win contracts by lowering offering prices with each bid, which is conducted on a virtual platform hosted on the Internet. This research designs and proposes a new methodology to predict closing prices and duration within the first few bids of the corresponding auctions based on real time bidding information rather than static auction information. In this article, we employ real time information and prediction rules to forecast the behavior of live auctions. This is in contrast to the static prediction approach that takes into consideration only information available at the beginning of an auction such as products, item features, or the seller’s reputation. This simulation is based on discretized auction data derived from a B2B online auction marketplace over a two-year period. Three measurements including accuracy, coverage, and benefit are used to evaluate the methodology. Results show that after observing the first 4 bids, this methodology can predict closing prices and duration with 84.6 and 71.9% accuracy, respectively. 相似文献

微服务架构逐渐成为构建复杂业务系统时的主流架构,但同时系统架构变得更加复杂,服务质量的保障成为一个关键的问题.本文围绕微服务架构下服务质量保障展开研究,通过熔断、降级、多路调用等方式解决服务调用过程中出现的各种问题.提出了微服务调用参数的计算模型,以实时的业务和设备监控数据为基础,对服务调用参数的精细化计算,并支持在线的动态参数调整.通过优雅停机和流量预热方法,解决了服务重启过程中出现的质量抖动问题.本文所提出的方法和模型,在实际应用中得到了充分验证,响应时间、失败率等指标大幅降低,使微服务架构下的系统更加稳定可靠的运行. 相似文献

Enterprise applications usually involve huge, complex, and persistent data to work on, together with business rules and processes. In order to represent, integrate, and use the information coming from the huge, distributed, multiple sources, we present a conceptual model with dynamic multi-level workflows corresponding to a mining-grid centric multi-layer grid architecture, for multi-aspect analysis in building an e-business portal on the Wisdom Web. We show that this integrated model will help to dynamically organize status-based business processes that govern enterprise application integration. We also present two case studies to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model in the real world. The first case study is about how to organize and mine multiple data sources for behavior-based online customer segmentation, which is the first crucial step of personalization and one-to-one marketing. The second case study is about how to evaluate and monitor data quality, which in return can optimize the knowledge discovery process for intelligent decision making. The proposed methodology attempts to orchestrate various mining agents on the mining-grid for integrating data and knowledge in a unified portal developed by a service-oriented architecture. 相似文献

The notion of "service" has spurred major evolutions for both information systems and the Web. A software application is no longer considered a monolithic component; it can be divided into services that are smaller components defined by their function and accessible through well-defined interfaces and protocols. As a result, IT actors are using service-oriented architectures (SOAs) to remodel the information systems of many companies while the Web is increasingly becoming a programmable place. In both domains, developers build composite client applications to consume these services. Even boundaries between enterprise services and Internet services are vanishing. Some companies, such as Strikelron provide enterprise services that were previously always hosted internally - like customer relationship management solutions. As a consequence, companies now have the technologies required to bring their business online. With Web services, private business processes can be exposed to partners through public composite Web applications. When new projects emerge, companies need guidance to properly handle such work. Today’s software systems need to support complex business operations and processes.The development of the web-based software systems has been pushing up the limits of traditional software engineering methodologies and technologies as they are required to be used and updated almost real-time,so that users can interact and share the same applications over the internet as needed.These applications have to adapt quickly to the diversified and dynamic changing requirements in the physical,technological,economical and social environments.As a consequence,we are expecting a major paradigm shift in software engineering to reflect such changes in computing environment in order to better address the fundamental needs of organisations in this new era.Existing software technologies,such as model driven development,business process engineering,online(re-)configuration,composition and adaptation of managerial functionalities are being repurposed to reduce the time taken for software development by reusing software codes.The ability to dynamically combine contents from numerous web sites and local resources,and the ability to instantly publish services worldwide have opened up entirely new possibilities for software development.In retrospect to the ten years applied research on Internetware,we have witnessed such a paradigm shift,which brings about many changes to the developmental experience of conventional web applications.Several related technologies,such as cloud computing,service computing,cyber-physical systems and social computing,have converged to address this emerging issue with emphasis on different aspects.In this paper,we first outline the requirements that the Internetware software paradigm should meet to excel at web application adaptation;we then propose a requirement model driven method for adaptive and evolutionary applications;and we report our experiences and case studies of applying it to an enterprise information system.Our goal is to provide high-level guidelines to researchers and practitioners to meet the challenges of building adaptive industrial-strength applications with the spectrum of processes,techniques and facilities provided within the Internetware paradigm. 相似文献
