Two series of novel polyimides (5a-g and 6a-g) containing flexible ether linkages and pendent trifluoromethyl (CF3) groups were synthesized from 1,4-bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenoxy)benzene dianhydride (3a) and 1,3-bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenoxy)benzene dianhydride (3b) with various CF3-substituted aromatic bis(ether amine)s (4a-g) via ring-opening polyaddition to poly(amic acid)s, followed by thermal or chemical imidization. These polyimides were readily soluble in a variety of organic solvents and could be solution-cast into flexible and tough films. The cast films exhibited high optical transparency and almost no color, with a UV-vis absorption edge of 368-382 nm and a very low b value (a yellowness index) of 6.2-15.5. They had good thermal stability with glass-transition temperatures of 186-288 °C, and most of them did not show significant decomposition before 500 °C. Moreover, these polyimide films also possessed low dielectric constants of 2.79-3.49 (at 1 MHz) and low water uptakes (<0.65 wt%).  相似文献

Diarylacetylene monomers having trimethylsilyl groups and other substituents (substituted biphenyl, 1a and 1b; trimethylsilylmethylphenyl, 1c-e) were synthesized and polymerized with TaCl5-n-Bu4Sn catalyst to produce the corresponding poly(diarylacetylene)s (2a-d). Polymers 2a-c had high molecular weights and were soluble in common organic solvents. Free-standing membranes of 2a-c as well as previously reported 2f-h were prepared by the solution-casting method. Desilylation of these Si-containing polymer membranes was carried out with trifluoroacetic acid to afford 3a, 3b, and 3f-h. Upon desilylation, biphenyl-containing membranes became less permeable (3a, b), whereas fluorene-containing membranes became more permeable (3f-h). In particular, 3h exhibited extremely high gas permeability (PO2 = 9800 barrers), which is about the same as that of poly(1-trimethylsilyl-1-propyne). Desilylated membranes 3a and 3f-h showed different gas permeability from that of polymers 2i-k which have the identical chemical structures and obtained directly by the polymerization of the corresponding monomers.  相似文献

A series of polyimides IIIa-h characterized by colorlessness, high transparency, high solubility, and good mechanical property, was synthesized from the aromatic dianhydride, 2,5-bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenoxy)-t-butylbenzene dianhydride (I), and various aromatic diamines (IIa-h) with pendent trifluoromethyl group via polyaddition, chemical imidization, and direct cast films. The III series showed more colorless than the polyimides (V and VI series) of 2,2-bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane dianhydride (6FDA) contained, the VI series was synthesized from the II with 6FDA. These films III had cut-off wavelengths between 371 and 376 nm, as well as b* value (a yellowness index) ranging from 3.0 to 4.7. In fact, it is so far the most colorless aromatic polyimide in our systematical researches. The III series had inherent viscosity ranging from 0.72 to 1.33 dL/g and showed excellent solubility in a variety of organic solvents. They were soluble in a concentration of 5-10% in the amide polar solvent, ether solvent, and chlorinated solvent. These films showed strength tensile of 97-123 MPa, dielectric constants of 2.78-3.28 (1 MHz), and moisture absorptions of 0.11-0.36 wt%. The glass transition temperature of the III series was recorded at 214-259 °C, the 10% weight loss temperature was over 468 °C, and the residue was more than 47% at 800 °C in nitrogen.  相似文献

Treatment of a dihydrosilane (methylphenylsilane, 1) with mixtures of a diyne (p- or m-diethynylbenzene, 2a or 2b) and a triyne (1,3,5-triethynylbenzene, 3a or B,B′,B″-triethynyl-N,N′,N″-trimethylborazine, 3b; 1:2:3=100:95:5, 100:90:10, 100:80:20) in the presence of Pd-PCy3 (Cy=cyclohexyl) catalyst gave new crosslinked silylenedivinylene polycarbosilanes. In TGA the resulting crosslinked polymers tended to show higher Td5 values and higher char yields than the corresponding linear polymers. On the other hand, UV/vis absorption spectra of the crosslinked polymers obtained in the reactions of 2a or 2b with 3a exhibited increased broad peaks around 390 nm for 2a or 360 nm for 2b. Coincidently, their fluorescence spectra showed significant increase of the emission peaks in 400-550 nm. The crosslinked polymer derived from 2a and 3b, however, showed decrease of the absorption peak around 390 nm and profound depression of fluorescence peaks in 400-550 nm.  相似文献

Diphenylacetylenes having a dimethyloctylsilyl group and an alkyl group at para positions [Me2n-C8H17SiC6H4CCC6H4R; R = H (1a), i-Pr (1b), t-Bu (1c), n-Bu (1d)] and having only an alkyl group [PhCCC6H4R; R = i-Pr (1B), t-Bu (1C)] were synthesized and then polymerized with TaCl5/n-Bu4Sn catalyst to provide the corresponding poly(diphenylacetylene)s (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2B, and 2C). The formed polymers afforded tough free-standing membranes by casting from toluene solutions. Desilylation reaction of Si-containing membranes (2a-d) was carried out with trifluoroacetic acid to give the desilylated membranes (3a-d). The permeability of these membranes to O2, N2, and CO2 were determined. All the Si-containing membranes exhibited almost the same gas permeability. The desilylation of Si-containing membranes of 2a-c resulted in large increase of gas permeability. No apparent increasing of gas permeability was observed in the desilylation of 2d. To clarify the effects of desilylation, CO2 diffusivity (D(CO2)), CO2 solubility (S(CO2)), and fractional free volume (FFV) of the polymer membranes were investigated. The S(CO2) values of desilylated membranes were much larger than that of Si-containing counterparts. The D(CO2) and FFV of membranes of 2a-c increased through desilylation. The desilylated membrane of 3d had small D(CO2) value and almost the same FFV compared with 2d. Further, the comparison of the permeability between three types of membranes with the same chemical structure revealed that the microvoids were not generated by the desilylation of membranes of poly(diphenylacetylene)s containing alkyl groups.  相似文献

Diphenylacetylenes having both a trimethylsilyl group and an alkyl group at para positions [Me3SiC6H4CCC6H4R; R = Et (1a), n-Bu (1b), t-Bu (1c), n-C8H17 (1d)] and having only an alkyl group [PhCCC6H4R; R = n-Bu (1B), n-C8H17 (1D)] were synthesized and then polymerized with TaCl5/n-Bu4Sn catalyst to provide the corresponding poly(diphenylacetylene)s (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2B, and 2D). The formed polymers except 2c afforded tough free-standing membranes by casting from toluene solutions. Desilylation reaction of the Si-containing polymer membranes (2a, 2b, 2d) was carried out with trifluoroacetic acid, and the desilylated polymer membranes (3a, 3b, 3d) were obtained. The permeability to O2, N2, and CO2 were determined for the obtained polymer membranes. All the desilylated membranes showed lower gas permeability than the Si-containing counterparts. To clarify the effects of the desilylation further, CO2 diffusivity, CO2 solubility, and fractional free volume (FFV) of the polymer membranes were investigated. The FFV and CO2 diffusivity decreased upon desilylation, while CO2 solubility hardly varied.  相似文献

Diarylacetylenes having fluorenyl groups and other substituents (trimethylsilyl, t-butyl, bromine, fluorine) (1a-1) were polymerized with TaCl5-n-Bu4Sn. Monomers 1a-l produced high molecular weight polymers 2a-l (Mw 5.1 × 105-1.3 × 106) in 12-59% yields. All of the polymers were soluble in common organic solvents, and gave tough free-standing membranes by the solution casting method. The onset temperatures of weight loss of polymers 2a-l in air were over 400 °C, indicating considerably high thermal stability. All the polymer membranes showed high gas permeability; e.g., the oxygen permeability coefficient (PO2) of 2a was as large as 4800 barrers. Membrane 2d possessing two fluorine atoms at meta and para positions of the phenyl ring showed the highest oxygen permeability (PO2 = 6600 barrers) among the present polymers.  相似文献

Aromatic diamine-based benzoxazines and their high performance thermosets   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Four high-purity aromatic diamine-based benzoxazines (13-16), which could not easily be synthesized by traditional approaches, were successfully synthesized by a facile, widely useful three-step synthetic method using four typical aromatic diamines - 4,4′-diamino diphenyl methane (1), 4,4′-diamino diphenyl sulfone (2), 2,2-bis(4-(4-aminophenoxy)phenyl)propane (3), and bis(4-(4-aminophenoxy)phenyl)ether (4), respectively, as starting materials. The structures of the monomers (5-16) were confirmed by 1H, 13C, 1H-1H and 1H-13C NMR spectra. Their high performance thermosets, P(13-16), were obtained by thermal curing of benzoxazines (13-16), and their properties were studied and compared with polymer derived from bis(3,4-dihydro-2H-3-phenyl-1,3-benzoxazinyl)methane (F-a), a typical aromatic biphenol-based benzoxazine. Among the benzoxazines, 13 and F-a are constitutional isomers, but the Tg value and 5% decomposition temperature of P(13) are 53 and 111 °C, respectively, higher than those of P(F-a), demonstrating the power of the molecule-approach to enhance the thermal properties. Because of the large varieties of aromatic diamines, this approach can increase the molecule-design flexibility of benzoxazines.  相似文献

C2-Symmetric 9,9′-spirobifluorene-containing polyesters (PEs) were synthesized by polycondensation of 2,2′-dihydroxy-9,9′-spirobifluorene (1) with bis(acyl chloride)s (2) at 230 °C in diphenylether. The molecular weights of PEs 3a-3f were sufficiently high (Mw 13,400-41,600). PEs displayed high thermal stability. The glass transition temperatures (Tg) estimated by differential scanning calorimetry analysis appeared in a range 177-352 °C depending on the spacer structure, while the 5% decomposition temperatures (Td5) measured by thermogravimetric analysis were over 416 °C both under nitrogen atmosphere and in air. PEs showed good solubility in typical organic solvents such as CHCl3 and THF easily to afford the tough, transparent, and flexible cast films. The transmittance of the polymer films reached over 90% in the wavelength range from ca. 410-900 nm. In addition, PEs exhibited higher refractive index rather than that of commercially available 9,9-diarylfluorene-containing PE, in addition to very low degree of birefringence presumably due to the C2-symmetric structure.  相似文献

Electrochemical oxidation of catechols (1a-d) has been studied in the presence of N,N-dimethylethylendiamine (3) as a nucleophile in aqueous solutions, using cyclic voltammetry, constant-current coulometry and controlled-potential coulometry. The results indicate that the quinones derived from catechols (2a-d) participate in Michael addition reactions with N,N′-dimethylethylendiamine (3) via the ECECE mechanism to form the corresponding quinoxalinedione derivatives (6a-c).  相似文献

To investigate the difference of the trifluoromethyl (CF3) group and ether group affecting the optical property of fluorinated polyimides (PIs), we prepared 4,4′-bis(4-amino-2-trifluoromethylphenoxy)diphenyl ether (4) with three ether groups and 2,2-bis[4-(4-amino-2-trifluoromethylphenoxy)phenyl]hexafluoropropane (5) with four CF3 groups with 2-chloro-5-nitrobenzotrifluoride and 4,4′-dihydroxydiphenyl ether or 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenol)hexafluoropropane. Two series of organosoluble and light-colored PIs (4a-4c, 5a-5c) were synthesized from 4 and 5 with various aromatic dianhydrides: 3,3,4,4-benzophenonetetracarboxylic dianhydride (BTDA) (a), 4,4-oxydiphthalic anhydride (ODPA) (b), and 4,4-hexafluoroisopropylidenediphthalic anhydride (6FDA) (c), prepared through a typical two-step polymerization method. These PIs were soluble in amide polar solvents and even in less polar solvents. The glass-transition temperatures (Tg) of 4a-5c were 221-249 °C and the 10% weight-loss temperatures were above 530 °C. Their films had cutoff wavelengths between 339 and 399 nm and yellowness index ranges from 1.95 to 42.60. The dielectric constants estimated from the average refractive indices are 2.59-2.93 (1 MHz). In a comparison of the PI series based on 4, 5, and 4,4′-bis(4-amino-2-trifluoromethylphenoxy)biphenyl (6), we found that the CF3 group and ether group on the diamine had almost same effect in lowering the color, but the ether group had better thermal stability. The color intensity of the three PI series was lowered in the following order: 6 > 4 > 5. The PI 5c, synthesized from diamine 5 and dianhydride c, had six CF3 groups in a repeated segment and ether group at the same time, so it exhibited the lightest color among the three series.  相似文献

The polymerization of 1-β-naphthyl-2-[(p-trimethylsilyl)phenyl]acetylene (8a) with TaCl5-n-Bu4Sn in cyclohexane provided a high molecular weight polymer (9a) (Mw=3.4×106). The corresponding monomers having p-dimethyl-t-butylsilyl and p-dimethyl(10-pinanyl)silyl groups in place of p-trimethylsilyl group in 8a also polymerized in a similar way to give high molecular weight polymers (9b, 9c, respectively; Mw>1×106). All these polymers were soluble in many common solvents such as toluene and chloroform, and provided free-standing membranes by casting from toluene solution. The oxygen permeability coefficients (PO2) of 9a at 25 °C was as high as 3500 barrers. The membrane of poly(1-β-naphthyl-2-phenylacetylene) (10a) was prepared by desilylation of the membrane of 9a with trifluoroacetic acid. Polymer 10a was insoluble in any solvents, and showed high thermal stability (the onset temperature of weight loss in air ∼470 °C). The PO2 value of 10a reached 4300 barrers. Not only the membrane of 9c but also its desilylation product 10c exhibited large optical rotations ([α]D=+2924 and +9800°, respectively) and strong CD signals. This indicates that the membrane of 10c maintains the helical main chain conformation of 9c with a large excess one-handed helix sense.  相似文献

The electrochemical study of N-tert-butoxy-2,4-diphenyl-6-tert-butylphenylaminyl (1a), N-tert-butoxy-2,4-bis(4-chlorophenyl)-6-tert-butylphenylaminyl (1b), N-[2-(methoxycarbonyl)-2-propyl]-2,4-diphenyl-6-tert-butylphenylaminyl (2), and N-tert-butoxy-2,4,6-tris(4-chlorophenyl)phenylaminyl radicals (3) was performed by cyclic voltammetry using acetonitrile as the solvent and Bu4NPF6 as the supporting electrolyte. On cathodic scan (100 mV/s), all the radicals gave chemically reversible cyclic voltammograms, and the were determined to be −1.405 V (1a), −1.310 V (2a), −1.282 V (2b), and −1.195 V (3) (versus Fc+/Fc), respectively. On anodic scan (100 mV/s), on the other hand, 1a, 1b and 2 showed chemically reversible cyclic voltammograms, but 3 exhibited a partially reversible couple even on a scan rate of 500 mV/s, indicating that the cation species of 3 was less stable. The determined for 1a, 1b, 2 and 3 were 0.220, 0.280, 0.318 and 0.294 V (versus Fc+/Fc), respectively. The electrochemical data were compared with those of thioaminyl radicals, the corresponding sulfur analogues of 1-3.  相似文献

The Sonogashira-Hagihara polymerization of 3′,5′-diiodo-N-α-tert-butoxycarbonyl-l-tyrosine methyl ester (1) and 3′,5′-diiodo-N-α-tert-butoxycarbonyl-O-methyl-l-tyrosine methyl ester (2) with para-diethynylbenzene (3) was carried out to obtain optically active poly(m-phenyleneethynylene-p-phenyleneethynylene)s [poly(1) and poly(2)] with Mn’s ranging from 9900 to 15,000 in 80-87% yields. Poly(1) exhibited intense CD signals in DMSO and THF, but did not in CH2Cl2, indicating that it took a predominantly one-handed helical conformation in the former two solvents. On the other hand, there was no evidence for poly(2) to take a helical structure in these solvents. Poly(1) turned the CD sign at 390 nm from plus to minus in DMSO/H2O = 9/1 (v/v) by the addition of NaOH. Alkaline hydrolysis of ester moieties of poly(1) and poly(2) gave the corresponding polymers having carboxy groups [poly(1a) and poly(2a)]. Poly(1a) and poly(2a) increased the CD intensity by the addition of NaOH.  相似文献

Polymerizations of various ester substituted 2,5-dichlorobenzoates [substituent: linear alkyl groups (1a-f), branched alkyl groups (1g-l), cyclohexyl groups (1m-o), phenyl groups (1p-r), and oxyethylene units (1s-v)] were investigated with Ni-catalyzed/Zn-mediated system in 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) at 80 °C. Most of monomers bearing linear and branched alkyl groups successfully polymerized to give relatively high-molecular-weight polymers (Mn = 10,000-20,800). However, the molecular weight of the polymer having eicocyl groups was low because of steric hindrance of long alkyl chain. The polymerizations of cyclohexyl 2,5-dichlorobenzoate and phenyl 2,5-dichlorobenzoate produced low-molecular-weight polymers, while the polymerizations of monomers with alkyl cyclohexyl and alkyl phenyl groups proceeded to afford polymers with relatively high-molecular-weights. The polymers possessing oxyethylene units were obtained, but the molecular weights were low when the oxyethylene chains were long. The gas permeability of membranes of poly(p-phenylene)s with alkyl chains increased as increasing the length of alkyl chain. The membranes of poly(p-phenylene)s with phenyl groups and oxyethylene units exhibited high densities and relatively low gas permeability. However, the CO2/N2 separation factor of membrane of poly(p-phenylene) having oxyethylene units was as large as 73.6.  相似文献

Chiral polymers P-1 and P-2 were prepared by the polymerization of (R)-3,3′-diiodo-2,2′-bisbutoxy-1,1′-binaphthyl ((R)-M-1) and (S)-3,3′-diiodo-2,2′-bisbutoxy-1,1′-binaphthyl ((S)-M-1) with 2,5-bis[(4-tributylstannyl)phenyl]-1,3,4-oxadiazole (M-2) via Pd(PPh3)4 catalyzed Stille coupling reaction. 1,3,4-Oxadiazole unit not only has high electron affinity, high thermal and oxidative stability, but also serves as a good chromophore. Polymers have strong blue fluorescence due to the efficient energy migration from the extended π-electronic structure of the polymers to the chiral binaphthyl core and can be expected to have potential application in the materials of fluorescent sensors. Circular dichroism (CD) spectra of polymers P-1 and P-2 are almost identical except that they gave opposite signals at each wavelength. The long wavelengths CD effect of P-1 and P-2 can be regarded as the more extended conjugated structure in the repeating unit and a high rigidity of the polymer backbone.  相似文献

Polyacetylenes having carboxyl and/or amino groups in the side chain were synthesized by the polymerization of N-(2-propynyloxycarbonyl)-l-alanine (1) and l-alanine N-propargylamide (2) catalyzed with a rhodium cation complex. Poly(10.5-co-20.5) exhibited a larger CD signal than the homopolymers. The polymer mixtures obtained by the polymerization of 1 in the presence of poly(2), and those obtained by the polymerization of 2 in the presence of poly(1) showed specific rotations larger than calculated. The polymerization of propargylamine in the presence of poly(1) did not exhibit significant effect, while the polymer mixtures obtained by the polymerization of propiolic acid in the presence of poly(2) exhibited [α]D of positive sign, although poly(2) alone exhibited [α]D of negative sign.  相似文献

Two dendronized poly(p-phenylene vinylene) (PPV) derivatives, ED-PPV and BB-PPV, have been successfully synthesized according to the Gilch route. The obtained polymers possess excellent solubility in common solvents, good thermal stability with 5% weight loss temperature of more than 340 °C. The weight-average molecular weight (Mw) and polydispersity index (PDI) of ED-PPV and BB-PPV are in the range of (1.26-2.34)×105 and 1.37-1.45, respectively. Polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) with the configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/polymer/Ca/Al devices were fabricated, and the PLEDs emitted green-yellow light. The turn-on voltages of the PLEDs based on ED-PPV and BB-PPV were approximately 4.3, and 4.5 V, respectively. The PLED devices of ED-PPV exhibited the maximum luminance of about 157 cd/m2 at 10.5 V. Photovoltaic cells with the configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/polymer:C60 (1:1)/Al were also fabricated, and the energy conversion efficiency of the devices based on ED-PPV and BB-PPV was measured to be 0.58, and 0.014%, respectively, under the white light at 75 mW/cm2.  相似文献

A new diamine monomer containing heterocyclic pyridine and triphenylamine groups, 4-(4,4′-diaminotriphenylamine)-2,6-bis(4-methylphenyl)pyridine (4), was synthesized by Chichibabin and nucleophilic fluoro-displacement reactions. The diamine was used to prepare a series of novel polyimides via polycondensation with various aromatic tetracarboxylic dianhydrides in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone. The polyimide 4a derived from the diamine 4 with 4,4′-hexafluoroisopropylidenediphthalic anhydride and having high Tg (313 °C), mechanical, and thermal properties was soluble in various organic solvents, such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone, N,N-dimethylacetamide, N,N-dimethylformamide, pyridine, chloroform, tetrahydrofuran, at room temperature. The polyimide (4a) could be cast into a self-standing film from DMAc solution and was thermally converted into tough and flexible film. The film had high tensile modulus of 2.2 GPa and exhibited excellent thermal stability in both nitrogen and air (Td10 > 550 °C). The pristine polymer exhibited the UV-vis absorption bands in the region 240-400 nm and protonated polymer exhibited absorption in the region 390-500 nm. The protonated polymer possessed strong orange fluorescence (around 600 nm) in THF solution after protonation with acids as excited at 438 nm. The fluorescent intensity was influenced by the acid concentrations and the chemical structure of conjugated bases. The fluorescent intensity at 600 nm increased as acid concentration from a lower to a moderate concentration and decreased at higher concentrations.  相似文献
