Interest in protection against solar ultraviolet radiation (UVR) among the general public in the world has been increasing steadily. Poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) was blended with UVR‐protection agents and was spun into modified fibers to provide the property of UVR protection. Investigation of this property using a UV spectrophotometer showed that the modified PET fabrics could be resistant to UVR more than 90% in the UV‐B band. The treatment of aqueous alkali on the surface of the fibers to improve the comfortable feel had little influence on the property of UVR protection. Scanning electron microscopy was employed to observe the surface morphology of the fibers. 利用紫外线照射人皮肤角化细胞,采用流式细胞技术观察细胞 进程和细胞凋亡情况,并研究了人参皂甙单体Rg-1和Rb-1对紫外辐射的保护.作用。结果表明一定剂量的紫外线可明显诱导人皮肤角化细胞S期阻滞及细胞凋亡,人参皂甙单体Rg-1和Rb-1能够释放S期阻滞,抑制细胞凋亡,对细胞的紫外辐射损伤具有不同程度的保护作用,为开发相关的抗紫外辐射护肤产品提供理论依据。  相似文献

Skin is the largest and most complex organ in the human body comprised of multiple layers with different types of cells. Different kinds of environmental stressors, for example, ultraviolet radiation (UVR), temperature, air pollutants, smoking, and diet, accelerate skin aging by stimulating inflammatory molecules. Skin aging caused by UVR is characterized by loss of elasticity, fine lines, wrinkles, reduced epidermal and dermal components, increased epidermal permeability, delayed wound healing, and approximately 90% of skin aging. These external factors can cause aging through reactive oxygen species (ROS)-mediated inflammation, as well as aged skin is a source of circulatory inflammatory molecules which accelerate skin aging and cause aging-related diseases. This review article focuses on the inflammatory pathways associated with UVR-mediated skin aging.  相似文献

UVA能够穿透表皮直接损伤真皮层,使皮肤老化,纤维变性,诱发皮肤癌,如何评价防晒化妆品在UVA区的防护效果,国内尚缺乏检测方法。文章介绍了体内实验及体外实验的评价方法,体内实验采用MX16黑色素-红斑-指数仪测试人的皮肤受到UVA照射后即时变成的一次性的灰我或棕色的光化学反应。这种着色称为黑化。体外实验为紫外分光光度计测试320nm-400nm的吸光度值。两个方法显示了较好的相关性,体外方法具有操作简便,快速和重复性好等特点,可以代替代内方法。  相似文献

Type I interferons (IFNs) are important enhancers of immune responses which are downregulated in human cancers, including skin cancer. Solar ultraviolet (UV) B radiation is a proven environmental carcinogen, and its exposure contributes to the high prevalence of skin cancer. The carcinogenic effects of UV light can be attributed to the formation of cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers (CPD) and errors in the repair and replication of DNA. Treatment with a single dose of UVB (100 mJ/cm2) upregulated IFNα and IFNβ in the skin of C57BL/6 mice. IFNα and IFNβ were predominantly produced by CD11b+ cells. In mice lacking the type I IFN receptor 1 (IFNAR1), the repair of CPD following cutaneous exposure to a single dose of UVB (100 mJ/cm2) was decreased. UVB induced the expression of the DNA repair gene xeroderma pigmentosum A (XPA) in wild-type (WT) mice. In contrast, such treatment in IFNAR1 (IFNAR1-/-) mice downregulated XPA. A local UVB regimen consisting of UVB radiation (150 mJ/cm2) for 4 days followed by sensitization with hapten 2,4, dinitrofluorobenzene (DNFB) resulted in significant suppression of immune responses in both WT and IFNAR1-/- mice. However, there were significantly higher CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ regulatory T-cells in the draining lymph nodes of IFNAR1-/- mice in comparison to WT mice. Overall, our studies reveal a previously unknown action of type I IFNs in the repair of photodamage and the prevention of UVB-induced immune suppression.  相似文献
