We describe the measurement of lipase (triacylglycerol lipase; EC 3.1.1.3) in serum by continuous monitoring of relative rates of oxygen consumption with a polarographic oxygen electrode. The reactions described by Proelss and Wright (Clin. Chem. 23: 522-531, 1977) are used: trilinolein, with lipase catalysis, yields linoleic acid, which reacts with oxygen in the presence of lipoxygenase. Lipase activity is measured by comparing the zero order reaction rate of the specimen with that obtained with linoleic acid standards. Results for lipase (y) correlated well with those by the copper-soap method of Myrtle and Zell (x) (Clin. Chem. 21: 1469-1473, 1975); y = 0.33x - 11; r = 0.98; n = 34. Results are unaffected by specimen dilution, and the standard curve is linear to 520 U/L. Day-to-day precision (CV) is 10.4% for normal activities, 6.1% for above-normal activities. We believe the method offers a precise, practical approach to lipase analysis. 相似文献

To study the development of responsiveness to binocular information, a display specifying an object approaching on a collision course was presented to 12 14- and 12 20-wk-old infants. Responses to the stereoscopic collision display were compared to behavior evoked by a control display that lacked stereoscopic depth information. Videotape recordings were analyzed for evidence of convergence, avoidance behavior, and reaching. The head alignment of both the 14- and 20-wk-olds suggests that their eyes were converging on the stereoscopic display. However, only the 20-wk-old Ss reached for the virtual object as it approached and reacted with defensive behavior at the time of collision, indicating sensitivity to binocular depth information. A new calibration method is proposed for the determination of mixing enthalpy of a liquid alloy. The method is tested using the available data on the Al-In system, whose enthalpy of mixing was measured in the single-phase region at 1273 K by means of a SETARAM-HT high-temperature thermal analyzer. To determine the calibration curve, the following three methods are applied: using pure metal, using pure metal and inert samples, and the method proposed in this work. The studies of the influence of the calibration on the accuracy of measuring the enthalpy of mixing show that the method proposed is more reliable for determining the calibration curve. The data on the enthalpy of mixing of Al-In alloys obtained by this method agree well with the available data. 相似文献

Cardiac reoperations are associated with several complications such as ventricular lacerations, major vessel trauma, and ventricular arrhythmias. As it is impossible to defibrillate before ending the pericardial dissection, this latter complication increases the mortality rate in the perioperative period. In those instances, the self-adhesive electrode pads for external defibrillation were proven effective for cardioversion and defibrillation, even in the presence of adherences. In our institution, these electrode pads are compulsory for all patients requiring cardiac reoperation. The apex pad covers the cardiac apex in the V5 and V6 electrode derivations, while the posterior pad is placed over the right infrascapular area, which reduces the risk of hazardous current concentration. In addition, it does not obstruct the operative site and the pads can be connected to a R2 cable adaptor compatible with regular leading defibrillating systems. The electrode pads were tested on 132 of the 508 patients (26%) requiring cardiac surgery during a 6-month period. Eighteen of these cases (14%) required one or more defibrillating during the operation. The benefits of using this system (R2 Corporation, Skokie, Ill) include: a smaller dissection, reduced blood loss, lower numbers of blood transfusions, and decreased operating time. When the electrode pads remain in place during the patient's transfer to the intensive care unit and the first hours thereafter, they can be used again this time to control arrhythmia complications after the surgery. 相似文献

锑是一种有毒且应用广泛的工业添加剂,但锑是可疑致癌物,对人体及环境生物具有毒性作用,因此锑含量的测定是环境评价的必然要求。实验制备了一种石墨烯/纳米氧化铝复合膜修饰电极,探讨了Sb(Ⅲ)在该修饰电极上的伏安溶出特性,建立了方波溶出伏安法测定Sb(Ⅲ)的方法。该复合膜呈疏松多孔结构,具有较大的比表面积和良好的导电性,对Sb(Ⅲ)具有灵敏的电化学响应。在优化的实验条件下,溶出峰电流与Sb(Ⅲ)浓度在1.0×10-7~1.0×10-5 mol/L范围内呈良好的线性关系,检出限为1×10-7 mol/L。对某工厂周边土壤样品微波消解处理后,采用方波阳极溶出伏安法测定了锑含量,结果的相对标准偏差(RSD,n=6)为3.1%~3.9%;土壤样品中锑的含量在0.901~1.290mg/kg;与原子吸收光谱法的测量结果进行对比,一致性较好。 相似文献

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) mutants have recently been identified in patients with acute or fulminant as well as chronic infections. Naturally occurring mutations have been identified in all viral genes and regulatory elements. Mutations in the gene coding for the hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) may result in infection or viral persistence despite the presence of antibodies against HBsAg (anti-HBs) ("vaccine escape" or "immune escape"). Mutations in the gene encoding the pre-core/core protein (pre-core stop codon mutant) result in a loss of hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) and sero-conversion to antibodies to HBeAg (anti-HBe) with persistence of HBV replication (HBeAg minus mutant). Mutations in the core gene may lead among others to an immune escape due to a T cell receptor antagonism. Mutations in the polymerase gene can be associated with viral persistence or resistance to nucleoside analogues. Thus, HBV mutations may affect the natural course of infection, viral clearance and response to antiviral therapy. The exact contribution of specific mutations to diagnosis and therapy of HBV infection as well as patient management in clinical practice remain to be established. 相似文献

采用硫酸溶解锑锭样品,盐酸溶解三氧化二锑样品,用氢氧化钠溶液使Sb3+沉淀从而使基体锑与微量砷分离,通过加入硫脲-抗坏血酸将As5+还原成As3+,然后在原子荧光仪上测定锑锭及三氧化二锑中的砷。对氢化物发生条件进行考察,确定还原剂硼氢化钾的浓度为25 g/L、测定介质为20 %(V/V)盐酸、硫脲-抗坏血酸溶液用量为5 mL。共存元素干扰试验表明,沉淀后溶液中残留少量锑的干扰在加入1 mL酒石酸溶液后可以完全消除,而样品中其他杂质元素在加入硫脲-抗坏血酸溶液后不干扰砷的测定。方法的检出限为0.156 ng/mL 。对锑锭及三氧化二锑样品进行分析,相对标准偏差为0.95%~1.2%,测定值与国家标准方法的测定值相一致。 相似文献
