The Er3+ doped oxyfluorogermanate glasses, with a composition containing Na element, were synthesized by the conventional melting–quenching technique. When Na element was introduced into the composition of oxyfluorogermanate glass, the crystals behavior was investigated in details. Depending on the annealing procedure supplied, thermal annealing of precursor glasses in the system GeO2/BaF2/AlF3/Na2O/NaF/ZnO/GdF3/ErF3 led to the precipitation of different crystal phase nanocrystals. It was confirmed the nanocrystals in GC600 is orthorhombic NaBaAlF6 which led to enhance obviously in the UC luminescence of Er3+. However, the nanocrystals in G585 led to decrease in the UC luminescence, which indicated few Er ions enter into the lattice of this nanocrystal phase. The reason of the decrease in UC emission intensity of GC585 was analyzed.  相似文献

通过高温熔融法和热处理制备了含有-γBi2WO6纳米晶的Er3+掺杂透明硼铋酸盐微晶玻璃.根据X射线粉末衍射结果和Scherrer公式计算得到-γBi2WO6晶粒大小约为15 nm.由于部分Er3+离子取代Bi3+进入-γBi2WO6纳米晶相中,使得Er3+离子在1.5μm的有效发射带宽由78 nm增加到85 nm,同时Er3+离子在4I13/2能级的荧光寿命由0.67 ms增加到1.43 ms.此外,与原始玻璃相比,在Er3+掺杂硼铋酸盐微晶玻璃中观察到强烈的绿光上转换发光,其上转换发光机制可以归为双光子过程.  相似文献

Transparent 45SiO2–25Al2O3–5CaO–10NaF–15CaF2 glass ceramics doped with different content of erbium ion (Er3+) were prepared. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) analyses evidenced the spherical CaF2 nanocrystals homogeneously embedded among the glassy matrix. With increasing of Er3+ content, the size of CaF2 nanocrystals decreased while the number density increased. The crystallization kinetics studies revealed that CaF2 crystallization was a diffusion-controlled growth process from small dimensions with decreasing nucleation rate. Er3+ could act as nucleating agent to lower down crystallization temperature, while some of them may stay at the crystal surfaces to retard the growth of crystal. Intense red and weak green upconversion emissions were recorded for glass ceramics and their intensities increased with the increasing of Er3+ content under 980 nm excitation. However, the concentration quenching effect appeared when Er3+ doping reached 2 mol%. These results could be attributed to the change of ligand field of Er3+ ions due to the incorporation of Er3+ ions into precipitated fluoride nanocrystals.  相似文献

Er3+-doped fluoroaluminate (AYF) glass was compared with fluorozirconate (ZBLAN) and tetraphosphate (PE) glass as a host material for 1.54-μm emission. Experimental results show that the Er3+:AYF glass has a smaller concentration quenching and much stronger intensity for the 1.54-μm emission. In high dopant, the 1.54-μm emission is two times stronger in Er3+/AYF glass than in ZBLAN glass, and 10 times stronger than in PE glass.  相似文献

The fluorine losses during synthesis of Er3+ doped transparent glasses in the SiO2–PbO–PbF2 system were investigated. The final fluorine contents of the glasses were detected by using a fluorine ion selective electrode. The results show that high fluorine losses are occured in the normal preparation processes. With the increase of initial PbF2 contents or melting time resulted in the increase of the fluorine losses. The thermal and spectroscopic properties of the glasses and the corresponding glass ceramics were investigated through the analysis of the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), absorption and upconversion luminescence spectra. The effects of fluorine contents show a decrease of the glass transition temperatures (Tg) of the glasses and an enhancement of upconversion intensity of the corresponding glass ceramics.  相似文献

Er3+/Tm3+/Yb3+ tridoped oxyfluoride glass ceramics was synthesized in a general way. Under 980 nm LD pumping, intense red, green and blue upconversion was obtained. And with those primary colors, multicolor luminescence was observed in oxyfluoride glass ceramics with various dopant concentrations. The red and green upconversion is consistent with 4F9/2  4I15/2 and 2H11/2, 4S3/2  4I15/2 transition of Er3+ respectively. While the blue upconversion originates from 1G4  3H6 transition of Tm3+. This is similar to that in Er3+/Yb3+ and/or Tm3+/Yb3+ codoped glass ceramics. However the upconversion of Tm3+ is enhanced by the energy transfer between Er3+ and Tm3+.  相似文献

Yb3+ doped Lu2O3 transparent ceramics were fabricated by the solid-state reaction method and sintered in H2 atmosphere. Structural and spectroscopic properties of Yb:Lu2O3 ceramics were studied. The Yb:Lu2O3 ceramic structure, and the lattice parameter are refined with the Rietveld method. Yb:Lu2O3 has broad absorption and emission bands with a long fluorescence lifetime (1.31 ms). The energy level diagram is calculated based on the absorption and emission spectra, Yb3+ in Lu2O3 ceramics exhibits a big splitting energy of the 2F7/2 ground state (1023 cm−1). Furthermore, the gain cross-section (σg) is estimated with different β values.  相似文献

Highly transparent Er:YAG ceramics with different Er doping concentrations were fabricated by a reactive sintering method under vacuum. The optical properties and the microstructures of the Er:YAG ceramics were investigated. For 3 mm thickness samples, the in-line transmittances of the as-fabricated Er:YAG ceramics at the wavelength of 1100 nm and 400 nm were about 84% and 82%, respectively. The micrograph of the Er:YAG transparent ceramics exhibited a pore-free structure and the average grain size was about 10 μm. The grain boundary of the ceramics was clean and no secondary phase was detected. The absorption and emission spectra, the fluorescence decay traces of the Er:YAG ceramics were measured and discussed. The ceramics obtained may have potential use for eye-safe solid-state lasers partly replacing Er:YAG single crystals.  相似文献

采用溶胶-凝胶法成功制备了一系列Er3 掺杂的透明纳米LaF3-SiO2玻璃-陶瓷样品,并研究了其上转换发光性质与发光机制.研究得到了Er3 浓度对上转换发光的影响规律,拟合了上转换荧光强度与LD工作电流的关系,发现所得结果与理论值能够很好地一致.在980nm激光二极管激发下,获得了发射波长为520、540、660nm的有效上转换发光.在较低的功率泵浦下,540nm波长的绿光波段发射最强,其发光主要过程是处于4F7/2态的Er3 离子能量大部分被弛豫到4S3/2态,再由此激发态跃迁到基态4I15/2态所致.  相似文献

Transparent mullite - based glass ceramics in the system SiO2-Al2O3-B2O3-ZnO-K2O were prepared. The activation energy of crystallization, the Avrami constants and the mechanism of crystallization of mullite were determined by the Matusita method through differential thermal analysis. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy methods were also used to determine the type and morphology of the precipitated crystalline phase. In addition, the degree of crystallinity was determined by the internal standard method. The results showed that bulk crystallization was the main mechanism for crystallization of the glasses. Optical absorption and photoluminescence properties of the obtained transparent glass-ceramics and their initial glasses were also studied. The glass-ceramics exhibited two emissions at 680 and 700 nm.  相似文献

Yb3+ and Er3+co-doped Y2Ce2O7 nanoparticles sintered at different temperatures were prepared by homogeneous co-precipitation method. The products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results indicated that the particle sizes and morphologies of the samples were heavily influenced by the sintering temperature. As temperature increased, the particle sizes became gradually larger and more agglomerate. The emissions including green and red upconversion emissions were investigated under 980 nm excitation. The emission intensities of the samples also depended on the sintering temperature. Two photon processes were mainly responsible for green and red upconversion emissions.  相似文献

Highly-transparent trivalent erbium ion doped calcium fluoride (5 mol % Er:CaF2) ceramics were fabricated by a hotpressing (HP) method using high-purity Er:CaF2 nanoparticles, which were synthesized by co-precipitation method. The mean grain size of the nanoparticles was about 24.7 nm. The nanoparticles were sintered at 600 °C, 700 °C, 800 °C and 900 °C, respectively, for 30 min under a uniaxial pressure of 30 MPa and vacuum of 10?3 Pa with 1 mol % lithium fluoride (LiF) as sintering additive. The 5 mol % Er:CaF2 ceramics sintered at 800 °C exhibits high density and pore-free microstructure with an average grain size of about 8 μm. The optical transmittance of the transparent ceramics is close to 85 % at visible and nearinfrared wavelengths. The strong and broad absorptions peaks corresponding to characteristic absorption of trivalent erbium ions make the ceramics a potential candidate for infrared and upconversion laser operating.  相似文献

In this work we report the recent results of our investigation on visible emission properties of the PMMA-based polymer nanocomposites doped with Er3+:Y2O3 nanopowders. The set of active nanopowders, and polymer films, differing in active ions concentration, was characterized with respect of their luminescent properties in the green spectral range, available to a limited extent for semiconductor lasers. In particular – the concentration dependent emission spectra and fluorescence dynamics profiles were measured under direct (single photon) and up-converted excitation, enabling the comparison of luminescent properties of developed nanocomposite materials and original nanopowders, optimization of erbium dopant concentration as well as discussion of excitation mechanisms and analysis of the efficiency of depopulation processes.  相似文献

报道了一种新的上转换发光材料X2型Y2SiO5:Er, Yb并研究了Yb3 浓度和泵浦功率对样品的上转换发光特性的影响:(1)随着Yb3 浓度的增加,绿、红光发射均呈先增强后减弱的变化,但相对于绿光发射,红光发射受Yb3 浓度的影响更剧烈,并且当12%(摩尔分数)Yb3 时,可以得到很纯的红光发射;(2)上转换发光强度与泵浦功率的关系表明,双光子吸收贡献样品的上转换发射.此外,讨论了可能的上转换机制.认为随着Yb3 浓度增加,Er3 的激发态吸收、Yb3 到Er3 的能量传递和Er3 的交叉弛豫对上转换发光的作用依次逐渐加强.  相似文献

Optical dephasing of Pr3+ and Tm3+ ions doped in transparent oxyfluoride glass ceramics was studied with the two-pulse photon echo technique. It was found that the dephasing time of rare earth ions is dramatically less in nanocrystals embedded in a glass matrix than in bulk crystals. A quasi-linear temperature dependence obtained at low temperatures proved that the long-range interaction of the ions inside the nanocrystals with the two level systems of the glass matrix dominates the optical dephasing. The local thermal effect in glass ceramics containing nanocrystals elevates the local temperature, which results in the reduction of optical dephasing time. For Tm(3+)-doped glass ceramics, the elevation of local temperature induced by the irradiation of excitation laser even quenched the photon echo signals in the experimental study.  相似文献
