Performance analysis of earth-pipe-air heat exchanger for winter heating   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Earth-pipe-air heat exchanger (EPAHE) systems can be used to reduce the heating load of buildings in winter. A transient and implicit model based on computational fluid dynamics is developed to predict the thermal performance and heating capacity of earth-air-pipe heat exchanger systems. The model is developed inside the FLUENT simulation program. The model developed is validated against experimental investigations on an experimental set-up in Ajmer (Western India). Good agreement between simulated results and experimental data is obtained. Effects of the operating parameters (i.e. the pipe material, air velocity) on the thermal performance of earth-air-pipe heat exchanger systems are studied. The 23.42 m long EPAHE system discussed in this paper gives heating in the range of 4.1-4.8 °C for the flow velocities 2-5 m/s. Investigations on steel and PVC pipes have shown that performance of the EPAHE system is not significantly affected by the material of the buried pipe. Velocity of air through the pipe is found to greatly affect the performance of EPAHE system.  相似文献

通过夏季工况的地源热泵运行试验,对运行过程中水平埋管的换热性能参数、试验场地周围气象因素和换热过程中土体的温湿度变化等因素进行实时监测,探讨了地源热泵运行过程中水平埋管换热器热交换性能及其周围土壤的温、湿度场变化规律。研究结果表明,地源热泵间隙运行有利于土壤温度场的恢复,随着停机时间的增加,水平埋管与周围土壤的热交换能力明显提高;气候变化对水平埋管周围土壤的温度场分布具有显著影响,随着埋深的递减,土壤温度受气候变化的影响越明显;水平埋管周围土壤温度的变化幅度随着与埋管距离的增加呈递减趋势,其影响半径为1.0m左右;热交换对水平埋管周围土壤湿度场的影响不明显,但大气降雨引起的地表水入渗对土壤湿度场的分布具有显著影响。  相似文献

The need to develop new technologies that allow the use of sustainable alternative sources of energy is increasingly evident. Thus, this work presents an experimental and numerical study of earth-air heat exchangers, which are used to reduce consumption of conventional energy for heating and cooling of built environments through the use of thermal energy contained in the soil. The experiment was conducted in southern Brazil in the city of Viamão, and its results were used to validate the computational modeling of heat exchangers. In the present work, the variation of air temperature inside the ducts, to an annual cycle, was investigated. The numerical solution of the conservation equations of the problem is performed with a commercial code (FLUENT) which is based on the Finite Volume Method (FVM). Turbulence is tackled with the Reynolds Stress Model (RSM). The transient temperature fields predicted numerically was compared with the experimental ones, the highest difference found was lower than 15%. The results showed the validity and effectiveness of the employed computational model, enabling its use for future researches and projects developments about earth-air heat exchangers.  相似文献

Vertical ground heat exchangers are one of the most important parts of geothermal utilization systems. In order to understand the effect of simultaneous variation of design parameters; a three dimensional computational fluid dynamics simulation was carried out. Based on the effective parameters on the heat exchanger efficiency and the total heat transfer efficiency in cooling mode, and with the aid of the second-order Response Surface Model, two functions for the total heat transfer efficiency and the heat exchanger efficiency were derived. The effects of different design parameters on the response variables were examined. Based on the Response Surface Model, it was found that the dimensionless inlet fluid temperature and the dimensionless pipe diameter significantly affect the response variables, while the response variables are weakly affected by dimensionless depth. Finally, an optimization was performed and the optimum heat exchanger is defined using the model equations.  相似文献

介绍了地源热泵的特性及其发展前景,分析了现有传热模型的局限性。在V.C.Mei传热模型的基础上,结合系统能量方程和热传导方程建立了套管式换热器的传热模型。采用有限元法和有限差分法对埋管周围的温度场进行了数值计算。通过与实测值的对比表明该传热模型能更好地反映出真实的传热过程和传热机理。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The efficiency of the solar thermal system depends on the performance of the solar collectors. There is a need to operate solar collector at higher possible temperature to attain maximum efficiency limits. However, the performance of the collector system is limited by the heat transfer characteristics of the working fluid called as the heat transfer fluid (HTF). Water is widely used as the HTF in the solar collector, but the major problem of using water as the HTF is its limited operating temperature. The objective of the work is to investigate the heat transfer characteristics of ionic liquids in tubular heat exchanger (HE) suitable for the solar thermal application. The HE was designed for a heat duty of 1?kW based on the thermal transport property of available ionic liquids and the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis was performed. The results indicate that there is only minimal deviation between the assumed and CFD data.  相似文献

针对暖通空调涉及的周期性换热过程(如相变地板、夜间通风、地埋管换热等)进行分析.周期性换热过程可视为等效冷源与等效热源之间非同时的换热过程,地板、土壤等中间媒介起蓄能和间接换热的作用.提出了整个换热过程的热阻分析方法,认为换热量由取热阶段流体与中间媒介表面换热过程、放热阶段流体与中间媒介表面换热过程及中间媒介自身导热过程三方面的热阻决定.计算得到地板白天蓄热夜间放热过程、夜间通风蓄冷过程、地埋管以年为周期的换热过程中,三部分热阻所占比例,分析了蓄热性能的制约因素,为蓄热式换热系统的设计与优化提供参考.  相似文献
