The need for interoperability is prominent in the industrial enterprise environment. Different applications and systems that cover the overall range of the industrial infrastructure from the field to the enterprise level need to interoperate. This quest is driven by the enterprise need for greater flexibility and for the wider possible integration of the enterprise systems. We developed a model to understand better the impact of vertical integration of production-distribution and exhibition of first-run motion pictures. Underwater Acoustic Networks (UANs) have important applications in ocean exploration and lake pollution monitoring. UANs are however different from terrestrial sensor networks due to their highly variable, long propagation delay, and mobility. Clock synchronization is an important protocol to achieve timing‐based sensor communications. In this paper, we propose a three dimensional, scalable UAN time synchronization scheme that can achieve both horizontal (i.e., in the same water depth) and vertical (i.e., from bottom up to the surface) clock synchronization to overcome the effects of long acoustic delay. To secure UAN clock synchronization services, we also propose a two‐step security UAN synchronization model: (1) correlation test and (2) statistical reputation and trust model. There have been many recent advances in wireless communication technologies, particularly in the area of wireless sensor networks, which have undergone rapid development and been successfully applied in the consumer electronics market. Therefore, wireless networks (WNs) have been attracting more attention from academic communities and other domains. From an industrial perspective, WNs present many advantages including flexibility, low cost, easy deployment and so on. Therefore, WNs can play a vital role in the Industry 4.0 framework, and can be used for smart factories and intelligent manufacturing systems. In this paper, we present an overview of industrial WNs (IWNs), discuss IWN features and related techniques, and then provide a new architecture based on quality of service and quality of data for IWNs. We also propose some applications for IWNs and IWN standards. Then, we will use a case from our previous achievements to explain how to design an IWN under Industry 4.0. Finally, we highlight some of the design challenges and open issues that still need to be addressed to make IWNs truly ubiquitous for a wide range of applications. 相似文献

Telecommunications operators are undergoing massive transformations in order to metamorphose themselves into the ICT world and compete with agile, lean IT organisations. The main challenges facing telecommunications operators, such as BT, are to reduce costs and increase agility in deploying software systems for provisioning ICT services. Despite using reusable capabilities and COTS packages, the major source of increased cost lies in the heavy integration tax we incur for integrating diverse systems implemented on diverse platforms and middleware, with heterogeneous data and process models. This paper looks at cost implications of lengthy and often manual migration to-and-from systems and platforms, and shows the clear business benefits of model-driven development (MDD) as defined by the Object Management Group (OMG). It is clearly demonstrated that model-driven development has matured into a practical, industrialised, scalable and evolvable technology, culminating from decades of R&D on specification and design languages, executable formalisms and domainspecific languages and language transformations. 相似文献

The predictive maintenance function is ensured with the earlier detection of errors and faults in the machinery before reaching its critical stages. On the other hand, the challenges faced by Internet of things (IoT) devices are the security problem because they can be easily attacked by comparing the other devices such as computers or portable devices. It cannot solve the high-dimensional issues and imbalanced data. The computation cost is very expensive when using the modern sampling method. In addition, the conventional methods for predictive maintenance are incorporated with a single method. So, the maintenance and prognostic tasks are very hard to address simultaneously. Thus, a new predictive manufacturing system in Industry 4.0 for examining the machines is proposed. In the initial stage, the data are collected from IoT industry sensors. Considerably, the data cleaning is carried out, and deep features are extracted through the “Multi-Scale Dilation Attention Convolutional Neural Network (MSDA-CNN).” Further, the deep, weighted features are extracted, where the weight is optimized using the hybrid algorithm named Probabilistic Beetle Swarm-Butterfly Optimization (PBS-BO). In the end, the weighted features are given to the Optimized Hybrid Fault Detection (OHFD) that is performed by the “Deep Neural Network (DNN) and Deep Belief Network (DBN).” Finally, if any faults in machines are predicted, then the system sends alerts to the industrialists for suitable decision-making.
