智慧家庭服务系统是现代服务计算和云计算环境下服务系统的新形态和新应用,对智慧家庭服务业务过程的分析、建模与设计问题进行了研究。介绍了智慧家庭的新理念,提出了智慧家庭服务系统的体系结构。在详细分析家庭服务业务过程基础上,提出了基于BPMN建模语言的智慧家庭服务过程建模方法。最后以具有典型性的采购服务为例,建立了服务过程模型,并给出了设计与实现方案。  相似文献

The growing development of standard Internet services and the emerging exploitation of several broadband multimedia contents disclosing in the last years, significantly promoted scenarios where Satellite Networks can play key roles. Several satellite networks are currently implemented according to the Digital Video Broadcasting-Return Channel via Satellite (DVB-RCS) standard, assuming to operate with a transparent satellite and an hub-centric (star) network topology. The present work addresses the SkyplexNet (SKN) system: an advanced Broadband Satellite Network for meshed connectivity developed by Alenia Spazio, within the framework of ESA Artes 3 – Line 1 Program, according to the DVB-RCS standard with duly extensions for the on-Board multiplexing capability of the Skyplex Units currently embarked on HotBird VI and W3A satellites. In this paper an architecture design study aiming at integrating the Medium Access Control (MAC) and Traffic Management (TM) functionality in a DVB-RCS like Network is presented. The envisaged Traffic Management schemes shall enable the SKN System to guarantee an adequate support of various Quality of Service (QoS) requirements and their application according to pre-defined Traffic Profiles established at connection set up phase with the support of physical medium access management functions. The functional architectures studied for the SKN Inter-Working Layer, from Internet protocols to SkyplexNet ones, and the SKN MAC layer have been also analysed on the interoperability level of these layers in order to deploy such functions as SKN connection mapping, packet scheduling and Bandwidth on Demand (BoD) policies. In this paper two different schemes of Traffic Management and MAC are presented reporting a detailed analysis of advantages and drawbacks of both approaches to be taken into account for future SkyplexNet system implementations. Fabrizio Di Cola is a Network and System Engineer of the Telecommunication Mission Unit of Alenia Spazio company (Italy). He received the M.S. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1998 and he is in Alenia Spazio since 2000. He is currently involved in the design and deployment of the Ground Segment of EuroSkyWay and SkyplexNet satellite systems as responsible for the Satellite User terminals Design and Development. He also contributes to System Engineering in the framework of several ESA and EC projects. From 1999 up to 2000, he worked as Researcher in the University of Bradford (Bradford, UK), Telecommunication Research Centre, within the “Satellite Mobile Group”. His activity focused on several aspects of the Mobility Management within telecommunications network integrating satellite and terrestrial networks. Emiliano Micaloni was born in Rome, Italy, in 1977. He is a Junior Telecommunication System Engineer involved since 2003 in a collaboration between University of Rome “La Sapienza” and the TLC Mission Unit of Alenia Spazio company (Italy). He received his Master Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Italy, in 2002, defending a thesis on Connection and Congestion Control for Geostationary Satellite Networks. Currently his area of interest concerns the Medium Access Control in the SkyplexNet Satellite Network, also contributing at the development activities for the SkyplexNet Satellite Terminals. In 2002–03 he collaborated with the “Computer Science and Systems” Department of “La Sapienza“ implementing solutions for Traffic Management and Quality of Service in Satellite Networks. All his activities are carried out in the framework of different ESA and EU IST projects. Luigi Secondiani received his M.S. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1997. From 1998 to 1999 he received a post-degree grant issued by the “Infocom” Department of the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in the frame of the ACTS 4th framework programme. Since December 1999 he works as a Network Engineer in Alenia Spazio-TLC Mission Unit, and he is currently involved in Alenia's activities on EC, ESA and NATO programmes. His main research interests mainly lie on interworking between Next Generation Satellite Systems (NGSS) and IP networks, with particular emphasis on network architectures, terminal's architectures and routing issues. Giuseppe Tomasicchio is a Senior Telecommunication System Engineer of the TLC Mission Unit of Alenia Spazio company (Italy). He received his degree in 1989 from University of Bari (Italy) in the Artificial Intelligence field. He received a Post-degree Diploma on Technologies of Educational Communication in 1991 and a Post-degree Engineering Specialisation Diploma in Signal Processing in 1994 from University of Bari. Currently he is responsible of the Ground System Design of EuroSkyWay/SkyplexNet satellite systems and of the Network Operations and Service Centres engineering in satellite networks devoted to multimedia applications in the framework of different ESA and EC projects. In 1997–98 he was responsible at CERN (Geneva, Switzerland) of the Data Acquisition System involving the readout, calibration, event display and the networking setup tasks of high energy physics experiments. From 1994 to 1998 he was at INFN (Italian Institute for Nuclear Physics) as researcher. In 1994 he was an IS-specialist in the Italian Government data processing centre and collaborated with the Government Seismic Service for GIS processing. He worked in 1991–92 as a fellow of DIGITAL Corporation for a join research activity at INFN in the field of Image processing and Pattern recognition applied to raw-data images produced from detectors in high energy physics experiments at CERN. 泛在网络环境中,组合服务选择不仅需要考虑服务上下文还需要考虑用户上下文,而描述上下文属性的数据类型可能有实数、区间数、三角模糊数和直觉模糊集。为解决这种基于复杂上下文的组合服务选择难题,本文提出一个复杂上下文感知的组合服务选择框架,能够感知服务上下文和用户上下文。该框架基于智能主体设计,其中用户端框架完成用户上下文管理,服务端框架完成服务上下文管理和组合服务选择。通过相关工作的比较,验证了该框架的优越性和有效性。  相似文献

Service Reporting is an essential part of Service Level Management (SLM) in IT Service Management (ITSM). These SLM reports show Service Quality status in compare to Service Level Target (SLT) based on Service Level Agreement (SLA). However, producing Technical Service Reports (TSRs) for SLM has Data Quality (DQ) challenges when IT services of a large enterprise are outsourced to a large IT service provider (ITSP). In fact, sources of technical metrics in these reports are coming from huge, unverified and non-normalized system-generated events and logs in a large enterprise environment. In addition, there are lacks of configuration items and service information meta-data that are essential for producing these SLM reports. These challenges lead to low intrinsic and contextual DQ of reports that destroy customer’s trust and management visibility which lead to Service Quality (SQ) issues and financial penalties. This research used Action Design Research (ADR) methodology and insider participant observation, focus group, interview and questionnaire data gathering and content analysis. Design, actions and data collection are done in and from a Multi-National Company (MNC) in Malaysia that provides IT services to one of the top 10 biggest enterprises in the world, during 4 years of research. The research implemented artifact is an integrated reporting system. It used Feedback Control System (FCS) theory and ITSM concepts to create Reports Data Quality Improvement Loop (RDQIL) to improve TSRs’ DQ. The research output is an ensemble artifact which formalized in the class of problems, class of solutions and set of design principles that consist of new Hybrid Normalize Data Warehouse (HNDW) architecture and Integrated Feedback Control Reporting (IFCR) process model. The importance of research emerges by improving SQ and reducing the risks of financial penalties by providing complex event processing and service reporting integrated into Operation processes. The research’s design principles and IFCR process model create RDQIL that improves TSRs’ DQ in large ITSPs which lead SQ improvement and prevent financial penalties.  相似文献

This paper describes the design and implementation of an enhanced Differentiated Services (Diffserv) architectural framework for providing Quality of Service (QoS) in wireless networks. The Diffserv architecture has been recently proposed to complement the Integrated Services (Intserv) model for providing QoS in the wired Internet. The paper studies whether Diffserv, as defined for wired networks, is suitable for wireless networks. The proposed wireless Diffserv framework takes into consideration several factors, including signaling requirements, mobility, losses, lower wireless bandwidth and battery power constraints. It identifies the need for supporting signaling and mobility in wireless networks. The framework and mechanisms have been implemented in the wireless testbed at Washington State University. Experimental results from this testbed show the validity of the proposed Diffserv model and also provide performance analyses. The framework is also designed to be extensible so that other researchers may use our implementation as a foundation for implementing other wireless network algorithms and mechanisms.  相似文献

In this article we present a perspective on future vision of mobile communications and services which is referred to as Mobile Ubiquitous Service Environment (MUSE). Based on analysis of wireless communications and services, we exploit a conceptual model for MUSE via a top-down approach. The conceptual model consists of three major elements: Terminal Service Environment (TSE), Network Service Environment (NSE) and User Identity (UID). The concept of Always the Best Experience (ABE) is addressed as the hinge in design and development such that the user-centric services could be provided automatically and intelligently in the future diverse wireless world Based on these, we further discuss the issues on design and implementation of architecture of future wireless communication system. Requirements for architecture brought by the new features of MUSE are listed. Moreover, we also address several tradeoffs that should be taken into consideration in design. Finally, the deployment challenges for MUSE, such as reflectiveness of system, security and privacy, as well as peer-to-peer AAA are predicted.Ji Yang received PhD degree on Circuit and System, Bachelor degree on Telecommunication Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) in 2002 and 1993 respectively. Currently, he is an associate professor of BUPT, chief technical supervisor of Wireless Technology Innovation Institute, and vice manager of MTlab of Sino-Germany Software Institute. He leads the research on service and application in Future Forum in China. He also made much contribution to the China Communication Standardization Association (CCSA), including the vision of future Mobile Ubiquitous Service Environment, architecture of future B3G mobile terminal, etc. His research interests include architecture design for mobile ubiquitous networks, theory of self-organization, etc.Zhang Ping is now the professor of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and director of Wireless Technology Innovation (WTI) Institute, BUPT. He has also served on the senior member of C3G Group, China MOST 863 future mobile communication FuTURE project, vice-chairman of China FuTURE Forum, and member of Vision Committee of World Wireless Research Forum(WWRF), he was vice chair of WWRF in 2005. He is also invited as the consultants for many domestic and oversea communication companies. He is very active on the international research activity on Beyond 3G area. He also participated in several European projects such as E2R and MOCCA. Until now, he has published 6 books, around 400 publications in journals and conferences in the area of telecommunications. His main research interests are theory and applications in wireless communication area. He was awarded by government, city of Beijing and Ministry of Information Industry several times for his great contribution to the industry and research activity in China.Hu Zheng is a PH.D candidate in mobile communications engineering in Wireless Technology Innovation Institute (WTI) at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). He received B.S degree from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2002, majoring in computer communications engineering. He currently works on serivce aspects of mobile ubiquitous communication system with focus on design and performance evaluation of interaction protocols and services in self-organized service environment.Wang Xu received the B.Tech. degree in electronic engineering from Beijing Polytechnic University (now named as Beijing University of Technology), Beijing, China, in 2002. Now he is working for his Ph.D. degree in Wireless Technology Innovation (WTI) Institute, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). His current interests include wireless communications in personal area, ad hoc networks and peer-to-peer system.Li Yinong received the BS degree major in Telecommunication Engineering in 1993 from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, the MS degree and PhD degree major in Telecommunication and Electronic System in 1995 and 2003 from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He is currently a lecture of STE (School of Telecommunication Engineering) of BUPT. His main research interests include service modeling, service composition approach, and intelligent service. This paper presents Quality of Service (QoS) based routing and priority class assignment algorithms. It introduces an end-to-end delay margin balancing approach to routing, and uses it to formulate a nonlinear optimization problem. In a single-class network, the formulation is shown to be convex; however in a multi-class priority network, it is only convex within specific regions, and is infeasible otherwise. A centralized off-line computation technique is proposed to calculate both the route configuration and end-to-end priority assignment. A gradient-based solution in the convex region and a heuristic to overcome the multi-class discontinuity are derived. An approximation of the optimization problem is developed for on-line distributed processing is then presented. Using the approximation, arriving traffic flows can use vector routing tables to search for routes. Compared with minimum-hop, minimum-delay, and min-interference routing algorithms, the proposed approach enables the single-class network to accommodate more users of different end-to-end delay requirements. In a multi-class priority network, results show that using the objective function to combine route and priority class assignment further increases the supportable network traffic volume. Mohamed Ashour received his B.Sc. (1991) and M.Sc. (1997) in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He worked for Hughes and General Dynamics as a Telecommunications Engineer. Currently, he is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. His current area of research is focused on traffic engineering, routing, and QoS provisioning in DiffServ and MPLS Networks. He is also interested in multi-class queuing analysis of long-range traffic, and QoS provisioning in ad hoc networks and satellite communications. Tho Le-Ngoc obtained his B. Eng. (with Distinction) in Electrical Engineering in 1976, his M.Eng. in Microprocessor Applications in 1978 from McGill University, Montreal, and his Ph.D. in Digital Communications 1983 from the University of Ottawa, Canada. During 1977–1982, he was with Spar Aerospace Limited as a Design Engineer and then a Senior Design Engineer, involved in the development and design of the microprocessor-based controller of Canadarm (of the Space Shuttle), and SCPC/FM, SCPC/PSK, TDMA satellite communications systems. During 1982–1985, he was an Engineering Manager of the Radio Group in the Department of Development Engineering of SRTelecom Inc., developed the new point-to-multipoint DA-TDMA/TDM Subscriber Radio System SR500. He was the System Architect of this first digital point-to-multipoint wireless TDMA system. During 1985–2000, he was a Professor the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Concordia University. Since 2000, he has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of McGill University. His research interest is in the area of broadband digital communications with a special emphasis on Modulation, Coding, and Multiple-Access Techniques. He is a Senior Member of the Ordre des Ingénieur du Quebec, a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC), and a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE). Overlay networks have made it easy to implement multicast functionality in MANETs. Their flexibility to adapt to different environments has helped in their steady growth. Overlay multicast trees that are built using location information account for node mobility and have a low latency. However, the performance gains of such trees are offset by the overhead involved in distributing and maintaining precise location information. As the degree of (location) accuracy increases, the performance improves but the overhead required to store and broadcast this information also increases. In this paper, we present SOLONet, a design to build a sub-optimal location aided overlay multicast tree, where location updates of each member node are event based. Unlike several other approaches, SOLONet doesn’t require every packet to carry location information or each node maintain location information of every other node or carrying out expensive location broadcast for each node. Our simulation results indicate that SOLONet is scalable and its sub-optimal tree performs very similar to an overlay tree built by using precise location information. SOLONet strikes a good balance between the advantages of using location information (for building efficient overlay multicast trees) versus the cost of maintaining and distributing location information of every member nodes. Abhishek Patil received his BE degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from University of Mumbai (India) in 1999 and an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University in 2002. He finished his PhD in 2005 from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University. He is a research engineer at Kiyon, Inc. located in San Diego, California. His research interests include wireless mesh networks, UWB, mobile ad hoc networks, application layer multicast, location-aware computing, RFIDs, and pervasive computing. Yunhao Liu received his BS degree in Automation Department from Tsinghua University, China, in 1995, and an MA degree in Beijing Foreign Studies University, China, in 1997, and an MS and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University in 2003 and 2004, respectively. He is now an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, peer-to-peer and grid computing, pervasive computing, and network security. He is a senior member of the IEEE Computer Society. Li Xiao received the BS and MS degrees in computer science from Northwestern Polytechnic University, China, and the PhD degree in computer science from the College of William and Mary in 2002. She is an assistant professor of computer science and engineering at Michigan State University. Her research interests are in the areas of distributed and Internet systems, overlay systems and applications, and sensor networks. She is a member of the ACM, the IEEE, the IEEE Computer Society, and IEEE Women in Engineering. Abdol-Hossein Esfahanian received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and the M.S. degree in Computer, Information, and Control Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1975 and 1977 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University in 1983. He was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Michigan State University from September 1983 to May 1990. Since June 1990, he has been an Associate Professor with the same department, and from August 1994 to May 2004, he was the Graduate Program Director. He was awarded ‘The 1998 Withrow Exceptional Service Award’, and ‘The 2005 Withrow Teaching Excellence Award’. Dr. Esfahanian has published articles in journals such as IEEE Transactions, NETWORKS, Discrete Applied Mathematic, Graph Theory, and Parallel and Distributed Computing. He was an Associate Editor of NETWORKS, from 1996 to 1999. He has been conducting research in applied graph theory, computer communications, and fault-tolerant computing. Lionel M. Ni earned his Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University in 1980. He is Chair Professor and Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, parallel architectures, distributed systems, high-speed networks, and pervasive computing. A fellow of IEEE, Dr. Ni has chaired many professional conferences and has received a number of awards for authoring outstanding papers.  相似文献
