In this paper, the exponential stability problem is investigated for a class of discrete‐time singular switched systems with time‐varying delay. By using a new Lyapunov functional and average dwell time scheme, a delay‐dependent sufficient condition is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities for the considered system to be regular, causal, and exponentially stable. Different from the existing results, in the considered systems the corresponding singular matrices do not need to have the same rank. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed result.  相似文献

Semi‐Markovian jump systems are more general than Markovian jump systems in modeling practical systems. On the other hand, the finite‐time stochastic stability is also more effective than stochastic stability in practical systems. This paper focuses on the finite‐time stochastic stability, exponential stochastic stability, and stabilization of semi‐Markovian jump systems with time‐varying delay. First, a new stability condition is presented to guarantee the finite‐time stochastic stability of the system by using a new Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional combined with Wirtinger‐based integral inequality. Second, the stability criterion is further proved to guarantee the exponential stochastic stability of the system. Moreover, a controller design method is also presented according to the stability criterion. Finally, an example is provided to illustrate that the proposed stability condition is less conservative than other existing results. Additionally, we use the proposed method to design a controller for a load frequency control system to illustrate the effectiveness of the method in a practical system of the proposed method.  相似文献

Improved exponential estimates and a new sufficient condition for the exponential stability of neutral type time‐delay systems are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A new Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional candidate with appropriately constructed exponential terms is introduced to prove the exponential stability and to reduce the conservatism. For the uncertain case, a corresponding condition for the robust exponential stability is also given. It is shown by numerical examples that the proposed conditions are less conservative than existing results. In this paper, we aim to investigate the stability of 2D switched positive nonlinear systems with time‐varying delays in the Roesser model, which includes 2D switched positive linear systems as a special case. By using the average dwell time approach, we give a sufficient condition for the exponential stability of 2D switched positive nonlinear systems. The difficulty caused by the delays is overcome by introducing a model transform and the method used in this paper is different from conventional Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional method. An explicit exponential bound on the decay rate is presented. We also extend the result to the general 2D switched linear systems, not necessarily positive. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained result.  相似文献

针对一类具有脉冲现象的非线性切换系统,提出了一种基于有限时间稳定lyapunov函数技术和多Lyapunov函数技术相结合的有限时间稳定性分析方法。该方法首先将非线性系统的有限时间稳定性的概念推广到所考虑的脉冲切换系统。然后,利用有限时间Lyapunov函数技术,确保各个子系统达到有限时间稳定。进一步,给出一个有限时间稳定的非线性比较系统。通过多Lyapunov函数技术,保证原系统的Lyapunov函数值不超过比较系统的状态值,由此得到原脉冲非线性切换系统有限时间稳定的充分条件。最后,一个数值例子说明文中方法的有效性。本文所得的研究结果能应用于生产线控制,交通管理,网络控制等实际系统。  相似文献

Exponential stability and robust exponential stability relating to switched systems consisting of stable and unstable nonlinear subsystems are considered in this study. At each switching time instant, the impulsive increments which are nonlinear functions of the states are extended from switched linear systems to switched nonlinear systems. Using the average dwell time method and piecewise Lyapunov function approach, when the total active time of unstable subsystems compared to the total active time of stable subsystems is less than a certain proportion, the exponential stability of the switched system is guaranteed. The switching law is designed which includes the average dwell time of the switched system. Switched systems with uncertainties are also studied. Sufficient conditions of the exponential stability and robust exponential stability are provided for switched nonlinear systems. Finally, simulations show the effectiveness of the result.  相似文献

In this paper, asymptotic stability problems of linear time-varying (LTV) systems on time scales are considered based on a less conservative Lyapunov inequality, whose right side is not required to be necessarily negative. It is shown that the Lyapunov inequality covers not only the corresponding trivial (continuous and discrete) ones but also nontrivial ones. Based on this inequality, some necessary and sufficient conditions for asymptotic stability, exponential stability, uniformly exponential stability of LTV systems on time scales are obtained. An example about nontrivial systems is given for illustrating the effectiveness of the proposed results.  相似文献

This brief paper addresses the finite‐time stability problem of switched positive linear systems. First, the concept of finite‐time stability is extended to positive linear systems and switched positive linear systems. Then, by using the state transition matrix of the system and copositive Lyapunov function, we present a necessary and sufficient condition and a sufficient condition for finite‐time stability of positive linear systems. Furthermore, two sufficient conditions for finite‐time stability of switched positive linear systems are given by using the common copositive Lyapunov function and multiple copositive Lyapunov functions, a class of switching signals with average dwell time is designed to stabilize the system, and a computational method for vector functions used to construct the Lyapunov function of systems is proposed. This paper studies mean square exponential stability of linear stochastic neutral‐type time‐delay systems with multiple point delays by using an augmented Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional (LKF) approach. To build a suitable augmented LKF, a method is proposed to find an augmented state vector whose elements are linearly independent. With the help of the linearly independent augmented state vector, the constructed LKF, and properties of the stochastic integral, sufficient delay‐dependent stability conditions expressed by linear matrix inequalities are established to guarantee the mean square exponential stability of the system. Differently from previous results where the difference operator associated with the system needs to satisfy a condition in terms of matrix norms, in the current paper, the difference operator only needs to satisfy a less restrictive condition in terms of matrix spectral radius. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is illustrated by two numerical examples.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problems of passivity and passification for a class of discrete‐time switched stochastic systems with time‐varying delay. Based on the average dwell time approach, the piecewise Lyapunov function technique, and the free‐weighting matrix method, a new Lyapunov functional is proposed and sufficient conditions for mean‐square exponential stability and stochastic passivity are developed under average dwell time switching. Moreover, an estimate of state decay can be calculated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Then, the solvability condition for passification is established and the corresponding controller is designed. In this paper, the event-triggered stabilisation problem for a class of switched systems with actuator saturation is investigated. Based on multiple Lyapunov function method and the average dwell time approach, a sufficient condition for exponential stability of such systems under event-triggered state-feedback controller is derived. To avoid Zeno behaviour, it is shown that there exists a positive lower bound for any two consecutive inter-event instants. Finally, two examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This note considers the problem of finite‐time stability (FTS) for switched nonlinear time‐varying systems. First, a relaxed condition is proposed to verify the FTS of nonlinear time‐varying systems by using an indefinite Lyapunov function. Then, the result obtained is extended to study the FTS of switched nonlinear time‐varying systems. Several relaxed conditions are given by using a common indefinite Lyapunov function and multiple indefinite Lyapunov functions. Moreover, the corresponding estimates on convergence regions and times of systems are also given. Comparing with the existing results, the conditions obtained allow the time derivative of Lyapunov functions of subsystems (or systems) to be indefinite and all subsystems to be not finite‐time stable or even unstable. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this note, we propose two new sufficient conditions on finite time stability for nonlinear time delay systems. First, a sufficient condition is proposed to verify the stability of systems by employing a continuously differentiable Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional with indefinite derivative. Second, another sufficient condition is proposed by extending the Razumikhin approach, moreover, the corresponding estimate on convergence time of systems is also given. The results obtained herein are less conservative than the existing methods, i.e., they relax the restriction that the Lyapunov function of systems has to be decreasing in the convergence process. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper addresses the stability issue of discrete-time switched systems with guaranteed dwell-time. The approach of switched homogeneous Lyapunov function of higher order is formally proposed. By means of this approach, a necessary and sufficient condition is established to check the exponential stability of the considered system. With the observation that switching signal is actually arbitrary if the dwell time is one sample time, a necessary and sufficient condition is also presented to verify the exponential stability of switched systems under arbitrary switching signals. Using the augmented argument, a necessary and sufficient exponential stability criterion is given for discrete-time switched systems with delays. A numerical example is provided to show the advantages of the theoretical results.  相似文献

The issue of exponential stability analysis of continuous‐time switched singular systems consisting of a family of stable and unstable subsystems with time‐varying delay is investigated in this paper. It is very difficult to analyze the stability of such systems because of the existence of time‐delay and unstable subsystems. In this regard, on the basis of the free‐weighting matrix approach, by constructing the new Lyapunov‐like Krasovskii functional, and using the average dwell‐time approach, delay‐dependent sufficient conditions are derived and formulated in terms of LMIs to check the exponential stability of such systems. This paper also highlights the relationship between the average dwell‐time of the switched singular time‐delay system, its stability, exponential convergence rate of differential states, and algebraic states. This paper deals with the exponential stability and asynchronous stabilization of continuous‐time switched systems. By delicately constructed piecewise Lyapunov‐like functions and the minimum dwell time switching method, exponential stability of the switched systems with stable or unstable subsystems is obtained. Based on the result of the stability, the problem of controller design of the switched systems under asynchronous switching is also solved, and the delay that causes asynchronous phenomena can be unbounded. The stability results and control laws of the switched systems are formulated in the form of linear matrix inequalities that are numerically feasible. Finally, two illustrative numerical examples are presented to show the effectiveness of the obtained theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with delay‐dependent exponential stability for stochastic Markovian jump systems with nonlinearity and time‐varying delay. An improved exponential stability criterion for stochastic Markovian jump systems with nonlinearity and time‐varying delay is proposed without ignoring any terms by considering the relationship among the time‐varying delay, its upper bound and their difference, and using both Itô's differential formula and Lyapunov stability theory. This paper will investigate global exponential stability analysis for a class of switched positive nonlinear systems under minimum dwell time switching, whose nonlinear functions for each subsystem are constrained in a sector field by two odd symmetric piecewise linear functions and whose system matrices for each subsystem are Metzler. A class of multiple time-varying Lyapunov functions is constructed to obtain the computable sufficient conditions on the stability of such switched nonlinear systems within the framework of minimum dwell time switching. All present conditions can be solved by linear/nonlinear programming techniques. An example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed result.   相似文献

This paper presents a new insight into the delay‐dependent stability for time‐delay systems. Because of the key observation that the positive definiteness of a chosen Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional does not necessarily require all the involved symmetric matrices in the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional to be positive definite, an improved delay‐dependent asymptotic stability condition is presented in terms of a set of LMIs. This fact has been overlooked in the development of previous stability results. The importance of the present method is that a vast number of existing delay‐dependent results on analysis and synthesis of time‐delay systems derived by the Lyapunov–Krasovskii stability theorem can be improved by using this observation without introducing additional variables. The reduction of conservatism of the proposed result is both theoretically and numerically demonstrated. Inspired by the idea of multiple Lyapunov functions and the average dwell time, we address the stability analysis of nonautonomous continuous‐time switched systems. First, we investigate nonautonomous continuous‐time switched nonlinear systems and successively propose sufficient conditions for their (uniform) stability, global (uniform) asymptotic stability, and global (uniform) exponential stability, in which an indefinite scalar function is utilized to release the nonincreasing requirements of the classical multiple Lyapunov functions. Afterwards, by using multiple Lyapunov functions of quadratic form, we obtain the corresponding sufficient conditions for (uniform) stability, global (uniform) asymptotic stability, and global exponential stability of nonautonomous switched linear systems. Finally, we consider the computation issue of our current results for a special class of nonautonomous switched systems (ie, rational nonautonomous switched systems), associated with two illustrative examples.  相似文献
