Two novel second-order dual-band bandpass filters (BPFs) with high isolation and high selectivity using coupled lines are realised with a T-shaped bandstop structure. The centre frequencies of the two dual-band BPFs can be adjusted to the desired values by changing the coupling coefficients and characteristic impedances of the two transmission paths. Two dual-band BPFs located at 1.87 and 2.53 GHz and 1.9 and 2.42 GHz are designed and fabricated for demonstration. Good agreements can be observed between simulated and measured performances.  相似文献

基于横向滤波器耦合结构,采用支节加载双模谐振器,设计了中心频率位于1.57 GHz(GPS应用)与2.4GHz(WLAN应用)的双频微带滤波器。由短路支节加载双模谐振器形成第一个通带,开路支节加载双模谐振器形成第二个通带,两个谐振器被输入/输出馈线隔离,每个通带的中心频率与带宽可以单独调节。测试结果表明:两个通带内的最小插损分别为2.18,1.35 dB,3 dB带宽分别为5.2%,6.8%,回波损耗均小于16 dB,三个传输零点分别位于1.28,2.08,2.71 GHz处。该滤波器具有尺寸小、带外选择性好等优点。  相似文献

This letter proposes and fabricates a novel dual-band bandpass filter topology. The proposed topology facilitates the split resonating frequencies of coupled resonator pairs in realizing the dual-band response and introduces transmission zeros for improving the stopband attenuation. The semi-lumped prototype enables the integration of the filter in a multilayer circuit for miniaturized implementation. Finally, a design example fabricated with low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology is presented for validating the filter configuration.  相似文献

In this paper, two compact tuneable bandpass filters (BPFs) based on the coupled feed lines are introduced. To approach a compact size, the coupled feed lines are bended. To design a high performance single-band bandpass filter (BPF), coupled feed lines are loaded by T-shaped stubs (as main resonators) and rectangular stubs (as suppressor stubs). Also, the mechanism of coupled feed lines combining with T-shaped open stubs is analyzed to show a tunable passband. The dual-band BPF includes two big radial-stubs, two small radial-stubs, two T-shaped structures and spiral coupled feed lines. The LC model of big radial-stubs is analyzed to compute the equation of transmission zero using its transfer function. The passband frequency of single-band BPF resonates at 2.12 GHz (3G) with corresponded insertion loss of 0.83 dB. Also, for dual-band BPF, the measured insertion-losses of first and second passbands are close to 0.8 and 1.1 dB, respectively. The frequency responses of BPFs are easily adjusted by altering the physical dimensions, demonstrating a adjustable performance. To verify the correct operation of circuits, the proffered filters are implemented and tested.  相似文献

Compact quasi-elliptic bandpass filters using hexagonal open-loop resonators are presented. To miniaturise circuit size, a pair of capacitive side-coupled stubs and two pairs of spurlines are placed skilfully into the filter structure. The new filter operating at 1.65 GHz was analysed, simulated and fabricated. Good agreement between simulations and measurements verified the validity of the methodology. Moreover, the circuit size only occupies 21.1 x 14.1 mm2 (?0.21λg x ≅0.14λg).  相似文献

Narrow bandpass filters using dual-behavior resonators   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
This paper reports on a new concept of narrow bandpass filters leading to perfectly controlled electrical responses within both the required operating bandwidth and adjacent undesired bands. A specific topology is considered for such a "global synthesis": in comparison with conventional filter performances, it provides significant improvements in terms of rejection control. The attenuated frequencies are each located apart from the bandpass frequencies and controlled by means of n transmission zeros introduced through original dual-behavior resonators (DBRs). These resonators are based on the association of different parallel open-ended stubs and allow the designer to independently control the in-band and out-of-band responses of the filter. A global synthesis approach is also discussed on a simplified architecture based on stepped impedance stubs, and the experimental results shown clearly validate the proposed concept. This simplification reduces the number of degrees of freedom when designing a DBR, and consequently the two transmission zeros become dependent.  相似文献

This paper presents a theoretical analysis of, and experimental results given by, stepped impedance (SI) resonators constructed and used as high-Q resonators in the UHF band. These results made it clear that the Q-factor is higher than conventional capacitor-loaded resonators. Three types of bandpass filters were designed and fabricated using the SI resonators. The filters mentioned in this paper show that excellent performance has been obtained.  相似文献

A compact dual-band bandpass filter is presented for wireless LAN applications. Using two centrally-loaded stepped-impedance resonators, the second passband frequency can be conveniently tuned. Two transmission zeros are generated between the two passbands because of source-loading coupling topology. Simulated results show that two central frequencies are located at desired 2.4 and 5.7 GHz with 3 dB fractional bandwidths of 18.8 and 7.1 , respectively. High-selectivity single-ended and balanced bandpass filters (BPFs) using dual-mode ring resonators and coupled lines loaded with multiple stubs are proposed in this paper. With the help of the loaded short-circuited and open-circuited stubs, six deep transmission zeros (TZs) from 0 to 2f0 (f0: center frequency of the passband) can be realized in both of single-ended and balanced BPFs to improve the stopband suppressions. The functions of the loaded short/open stubs and calculated analysis of TZs’ positions have been presented. For further demonstration, two examples of single-ended BPF and balanced BPF with high common-mode suppression are designed and fabricated, whose center frequencies are both at 2.1 GHz. Their measured 3-dB fractional bandwidths are 23.7% and 24.7% (differential-mode), respectively. The simulated results and measurements of these two filters are in good agreement.  相似文献

Zolotarev rational functions may be used in certain bandpass filter applications for which two narrower passbands are required. Coupled-resonator low-pass prototypes for narrow bandpass filters based on even- and odd-degree Zolotarev functions are synthesized using a transformed variable. The letter presents some new results associated with one bandpass (b.p.) filter configuration of the integrated uniform R0-C0KR0 structure consisting of two rectangular resistive films, one having per-unit-length (p.u.l.) constant series resistance R0 and the other KR0 (where K is a dimensionless constant), separated from each other by a dielectric film having p.u.l. constant shunt capacitance C0. It is shown that the output voltage in the b.p. region may be made almost constant for the load fluctuations in the wide range R0 ? Rt < ? (where Rt = load resistance) by selecting K ? 0.3. The range of variation of Rt producing constant output voltage in the b.p. region is found to be narrower for increasing value of K.  相似文献

This paper proposes a new class of slow-wave bandpass filters that uses a microstrip line periodically loaded with microstrip ring or stepped-impedance hairpin resonators. The new slow-wave periodic structures utilize the parallel and series resonance characteristics of the resonators to construct a bandpass filter. Unlike conventional slow-wave filters, the proposed bandpass filters are designed to produce a narrow passband at the fundamental mode of the resonators. The new filters provide lower insertion loss than that of parallel- or cross-coupled ring and stepped-impedance hairpin bandpass filters. This paper proposes new broadband microstrip bandpass filters based on slotted linear tapered-line resonator (SLTR) and slotted step impedance resonator (SSIR) structures for size reduction and improved stopband performances. A comprehensive treatment of slotted resonators and both ends of the resonator with interdigital coupled lines is described. The design concept is demonstrated by two filter examples including one with an SLTR and another one with an SSIR. These filters have not only compact size but also a wider upper stopband resulting from resonator bandstop characteristics. The simulated and experimental results of stopband performances are better than 15 dB for a frequency range up to 25 GHz.  相似文献

This paper proposes a circuit configuration for realizing current-mode lowpass and bandpass filters using the operational amplifier (op.-amp.) pole. The circuit simultaneously realizes lowpass and bandpass transfer functions using an op.-amp., three resistors and a capacitor. The effects of the paras tic poles (i.e. second and third poles) of the op.-amp. on the gain of a lowpass filter are also presented. Since the circuit uses the op.-amp. pole, it is suitable for high frequency operation.  相似文献

Wide-stopband and compact microstrip bandpass filters (BPFs) are proposed using various dissimilar quarter-wavelength (/spl lambda//4) stepped-impedance resonators (SIRs) for multiple spurious suppression. The use of /spl lambda//4 SIRs is essential in widening the filter stopband and reducing the circuit size. By properly arranging the individual /spl lambda//4 SIR, which has the same fundamental resonance frequency f/sub 0/, but has different spurious (harmonic) resonance frequencies, and also carefully misaligning the maximum current density nodes, several higher order spurious resonances may be suppressed so that a BPF with wide stopband may be realized. In this study, the basic concept of multiple spurious suppression is demonstrated by thoroughly investigating the spurious characteristics of the fourth-order interdigital BPFs, which consist of two different types of /spl lambda//4 SIRs. To widen the rejection bandwidth, the fourth-order coupled-resonator BPFs based on three and four different types of /spl lambda//4 SIRs are implemented and carefully examined. Specifically, a very wide-stopband microstrip BPF composed of four dissimilar /spl lambda//4 SIRs is realized and its stopband is extended even up to 11.4f/sub 0/ with a rejection level better than 27.5 dB.  相似文献
