Substantial spectrum gains have been demonstrated with the introduction of cognitive radio however; such gains are usually short lived due to the increased level of interference to licensed users of the spectrum. The interference management problem is herein tackled from the transmitter power control perspective so that transmissions by cognitive radio network does not violate the interference threshold levels at the primary users as well as maintain the QoS requirements of cognitive radio users. We model the cognitive radio network for mobile and immobile users and propose algorithms exploiting primary radio environment knowledge (spectrum use), called power control with primary protection via spectrum sensing. The algorithm is briefly introduced for time invariant systems and demonstrated that it has the ability to satisfy tight QoS constraints for cognitive radios as well as meet the interference constraints for licensed users. We, however, further show that such assumption of terminal immobility in the power control algorithm would fail in cases where user mobility is considered, resulting in increased levels of interference to the primary as well as increased outages in cognitive radio network. We model the link gain evolution process as a distance dependent shadow fading process and scale-up the target signal to interference ratio to cope with user mobility. Since mobility driven power control algorithms for cognitive radios have not been investigated before, we therefore, propose a mobility driven power control framework for cognitive radios based on spectrum sensing, which ensures that the interference limit at the primary receiver is unperturbed at all times, while concurrently maintaining the QoS within the cognitive radio network as compared to static user cases. This article introduces the classic locating method based on the receiving signal strength in the cognitive radio and puts forward a cognitive radio-receiving signal strength(CR-RSS) localization algorithm which solves the problem of secondary users locating the primary user and succeeds in estimating the primary user's location and transmission power. Through the establishment of cognitive radio network, evaluating the number of secondary users,sampling and the environmental factors to the results in CR-RSS approach. Cognitive radio scenario is based upon the ability to determine the radio transmission parameters from its surrounding environment. Power allocation in cognitive radio systems improves secondary network capacity subject to primary receiver interference level threshold. In this paper, statistical property of the injected interference power in primary user channel is used to establish the container bottom for each subcarrier employing water filling algorithm. In other words, the container bottom level of each subcarrier depends on the injected interference in primary user (PU) (most probably from the overloaded neighbor subcarriers). Traffic statistical parameters are also employed to formulate power allocation problem. Within this context, quality of service constraint is considered also to improve performance of power allocation algorithm. Simulation Results show that the injected interference in PU is decreased while the secondary user capacity improves. Indeed, the proposed algorithm is more compatible than a waterfilling algorithm with cognitive radio system constraints. 相似文献

In multi‐hop cognitive radio networks, it is a challenge to improve the energy efficiency of the radio nodes. To address this challenge, in this paper, we propose a two‐level Stackelberg game model, where the primary users and the secondary users act as the leaders and the followers, respectively. Based on the game model, our proposed scheme not only considers the power allocation problem for secondary users but also takes into account the price of spectrum. First, we give the cognitive radio network model, and show how to set up the game theoretic model in multi‐hop cognitive radio networks. We then analyze this problem and show the existence and uniqueness of the Nash equilibrium point for the game. We also study the impact of the spectrum price of the primary users in the cognitive radio network and study how to select the best price for the primary users to maximize their own profit. Finally, we implement simulations to show the performance of our schemes. Our work gives an insight on how to improve the energy efficiency and allocate spectrum resources in multi‐hop cognitive radio networks. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

Efficient resource allocation is one of the key concerns of implementing cognitive radio networks. Game theory has been extensively
used to study the strategic interactions between primary and secondary users for effective resource allocation. The concept
of spectrum trading has introduced a new direction for the coexistence of primary and secondary users through economic benefits
to primary users. The use of price theory and market theory from economics has played a vital role to facilitate economic
models for spectrum trading. So, it is important to understand the feasibility of using economic approaches as well as to
realize the technical challenges associated with them for implementation of cognitive radio networks. With this motivation,
we present an extensive summary of the related work that use economic approaches such as game theory and/or price theory/market
theory to model the behavior of primary and secondary users for spectrum sharing and discuss the associated issues. We also

为了在避免对主用户系统产生有害干扰的同时 提高频谱利用效率,要求认知无线电系统的频谱感知算法能在极低的信噪比下快速检测出主用户信号。由于可以避免能量检测面临的噪声不确定性问题,基于协方差矩阵的检测算法是一种有效的盲频谱感知算法。为了进一步提高极低信噪比下的性能,本文提出了一种基于随机共振的协方差矩阵频谱感知算法。该算法通过在接收信号中加入优化的特定信号,利用随机共振原理,增大有无主用户信号下的检测统计量概率分布函数的分离度,提高频谱感知的性能。仿真结果表明,相对于现有的协方差矩阵频谱感知算法 ,在相同的虚警概率下,所提算法可以显著提高极低信噪比下的检测概率,同时大幅度缩减检测时间。 相似文献
