During foil or ultrathin strip rolling, elastic deflection variation of the work rolls at the contact surface with the strip causes non-uniform thickness distribution of the product in the width direction, which possibly causes a central wrinkling or an edge fracture on the product. This study developed a four-high prototype rolling mill, comprising two work rolls fabricated from an ultrastrength alloy. This prototype rolling mill was composed of a housing frame set, a roll set, a roll gap adjusting mechanism, and a power transmission system. The finite element analysis was used for determining the frame dimensions and work roll diameters. Several experimental rolling passes of stainless steel strips were conducted using this self-developed prototype rolling mill to achieve a 0.05-mm-thick foil product.  相似文献

对某2200mm铝箔四辊轧机的轴向力检测时,发现在轧制运行中工作辊与支承辊在有1mm间隙的运动副辊系内的位置处于不稳定的状态.出现了工作辊与支承辊之间的动态交叉微尺度行为.该微尺度交叉导致产生超大轴向力而使工作辊止推轴承(双列角接触球轴承)超载,造成止推轴承短寿烧损事故.对该微尺度交叉行为的产生机理进行了分析,研究有助于推动四辊轧机"偏移距"力约束辊系定位理论的完善和发展,对各类薄带钢轧机设计具有参考价值.  相似文献

针对某新型铝热连轧机生产实践中因垂直振动影响板带质量的问题,在建立四辊轧机六自由度动力学模型基础上,采用数值计算与ANSYS有限元仿真相结合的方法,对其垂直振动的固有频率和响应特性进行分析,探讨结构参数对轧机垂直振动特性的影响和垂直振动对板形、板厚的影响,并从改善轧机生产工况和结构参数两个方面提出了改进轧机工作的建议.  相似文献

The metal processing system usually consists of various components such like motors, work rolls, backup rolls, idle rolls, sensors, etc. Even a simple fault in a single component in the system may cause a serious damage on the final product. It is therefore necessary to diagnose the faults of the components to detect and prevent system failure. Especially, the defects in a work roll are critical to the quality of strip. It is especially difficult to detect faults of a roll by using the existing frequency analysis method if the speed of the roll is changing. In this study, a new diagnosis method for roll eccentricity under the roll speed changes was developed. The new method was induced from analyzing the rolling mechanism by using rolling force models, radius-speed relationship, and measured rolling force, etc. Simulation results by using the field data show that the proposed method is very useful.  相似文献

The theoretical framework is developed for a new theory of cold rolling thin metallic foil. Unlike previous theories, the work rolls are allowed to deform to a non-circular profile and finite regions of no-slip between strip and work rolls are allowed to occur in the roll bite. The theory predicts that plastic reduction occurs near entry and near exit of the roll bite, separated by a central region where the strip does not suffer reduction and does not slip relative to the work rolls. As the reduction is decreased to zero the theory reduces to essentially the Johnson and Bentall theory [J. Mech. Phys. Solids 17, 253 (1969)] for the onset of plastic reduction in a strip. At large strip thicknesses and finite reductions the new theory approximates the Bland and Ford theory [Proc. Inst. Mech. Engrs 159, 144 (1948)] of cold rolling.  相似文献

针对某公司六辊冷轧机,采用影响函数法建立了辊系变形计算模型并开发了相应的计算程序。利用所建辊系变形模型结合轧机的板形控制策略,建立了针对轧机的理论和在线两种弯辊力预设定模型。实例计算表明,所开发模型精度符合实际要求,可用于生产实际,为提高轧机板形控制预设定精度,改善轧机产品的板形质量提供了理论依据。  相似文献

A new analysis for cold rolling of thin strip and foil is developed. This model follows the approach of Fleck et al. [8], but relaxes their assumption of a central flat neutral zone. Instead of following their inverse method to obtain the pressure distribution in this neutral zone, an explicit equation for the contact pressure variation is obtained from the sticking condition in this region. This significantly simplifies the solution method, leading to a much more robust algorithm. Moreover the method treats the cases either where the roll retains its circular arc or where there is very significant roll deformation in the same way, greatly simplifying the method of obtaining solutions. This will facilitate the incorporation of other effects such as the friction models currently being developed. Results are in line with the theory of Fleck et al. [8]. The effect of entry and exit tensions on the non-dimensional load and forward slip is investigated. It is found that the effect of equal entry and exit tensions is equivalent to reducing the yield stress of the strip by this tension stress.  相似文献
