基于社会网络的人名检索结果重名消解   总被引:7,自引:0,他引:7  
人物重名现象十分普遍,搜索引擎的人名检索结果通常是多个同名人物相关网页的混合.该文依据同名的不同人物具有不同的社会网络的思想,利用检索结果中共现的人名发现并拓展检索人物相关的潜在社会网络,结合图的谱分割算法和模块度指标进行社会网络的自动聚类,在此基础上实现人名检索结果的重名消解.在人工标注的中文人名语料上进行实验,整体性能达到较好水平,图聚类算法能帮助连通社会网络的进一步划分,从而提高消解效果.  相似文献

Personal name disambiguation is an important task in social network extraction, evaluation and integration of ontologies, information retrieval, cross‐document coreference resolution and word sense disambiguation. We propose an unsupervised method to automatically annotate people with ambiguous names on the Web using automatically extracted keywords. Given an ambiguous personal name, first, we download text snippets for the given name from a Web search engine. We then represent each instance of the ambiguous name by a term‐entity model (TEM), a model that we propose to represent the Web appearance of an individual. A TEM of a person captures named entities and attribute values that are useful to disambiguate that person from his or her namesakes (i.e., different people who share the same name). We then use group average agglomerative clustering to identify the instances of an ambiguous name that belong to the same person. Ideally, each cluster must represent a different namesake. However, in practice it is not possible to know the number of namesakes for a given ambiguous personal name in advance. To circumvent this problem, we propose a novel normalized cuts‐based cluster stopping criterion to determine the different people on the Web for a given ambiguous name. Finally, we annotate each person with an ambiguous name using keywords selected from the clusters. We evaluate the proposed method on a data set of over 2500 documents covering 200 different people for 20 ambiguous names. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms numerous baselines and previously proposed name disambiguation methods. Moreover, the extracted keywords reduce ambiguity of a name in an information retrieval task, which underscores the usefulness of the proposed method in real‐world scenarios.  相似文献

Person name queries often bring up web pages that correspond to individuals sharing the same name. The Web People Search (WePS) task consists of organizing search results for ambiguous person name queries into meaningful clusters, with each cluster referring to one individual. This paper presents a fuzzy ant based clustering approach for this multi-document person name disambiguation problem. The main advantage of fuzzy ant based clustering, a technique inspired by the behavior of ants clustering dead nestmates into piles, is that no specification of the number of output clusters is required. This makes the algorithm very well suited for the Web Person Disambiguation task, where we do not know in advance how many individuals each person name refers to. We compare our results with state-of-the-art partitional and hierarchical clustering approaches (k-means and Agnes) and demonstrate favorable results. This is particularly interesting as the latter involve manual setting of a similarity threshold, or estimating the number of clusters in advance, while the fuzzy ant based clustering algorithm does not.  相似文献

Time plays important roles in Web search, because most Web pages contain temporal information and a lot of Web queries are time-related. How to integrate temporal information in Web search engines has been a research focus in recent years. However, traditional search engines have little support in processing temporal-textual Web queries. Aiming at solving this problem, in this paper, we concentrate on the extraction of the focused time for Web pages, which refers to the most appropriate time associated with Web pages, and then we used focused time to improve the search efficiency for time-sensitive queries. In particular, three critical issues are deeply studied in this paper. The first issue is to extract implicit temporal expressions from Web pages. The second one is to determine the focused time among all the extracted temporal information, and the last issue is to integrate focused time into a search engine. For the first issue, we propose a new dynamic approach to resolve the implicit temporal expressions in Web pages. For the second issue, we present a score model to determine the focused time for Web pages. Our score model takes into account both the frequency of temporal information in Web pages and the containment relationship among temporal information. For the third issue, we combine the textual similarity and the temporal similarity between queries and documents in the ranking process. To evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed approaches, we build a prototype system called Time-Aware Search Engine (TASE). TASE is able to extract both the explicit and implicit temporal expressions for Web pages, and calculate the relevant score between Web pages and each temporal expression, and re-rank search results based on the temporal-textual relevance between Web pages and queries. Finally, we conduct experiments on real data sets. The results show that our approach has high accuracy in resolving implicit temporal expressions and extracting focused time, and has better ranking effectiveness for time-sensitive Web queries than its competitor algorithms.  相似文献

人名歧义是一种身份不确定的现象,指的是文本中具有相同姓名的字符串指向现实世界中的不同实体人物。人名消歧很长时间一直是一个具有挑战性的问题,关注网页里的人名消歧的问题。因为经典的K-means算法如果选择了一个差的随机初始聚类中心,算法会遇到局部收敛的问题,所以文章提出一种基于最大最小原则的改进的K-means算法来进行人名消歧。同时使用了WePS的训练数据作为实验的语料。实验结果表明,改进的方法比层次聚类方法有着更好的性能。  相似文献

传统的排序算法主要是根据网页之间的链接关系进行排序,没有考虑到网站与网页之间互相增强的关系和用户对网页的重要性的评价。为此提出了一种基于更新时间、网页权威性和用户对网页的反映的相关排序算法。该算法以网站为节点计算每个网站权威值,在为网页分配权威值时考虑了网页在网站内的位置和用户对其的反映,并通过网站与网页之间相互影响的关系来相互反馈。实验结果表明,与传统的PageRank、HITS等排序算法相比,该算法在检索性能上有明显提高。  相似文献

随着Internet技术的发展,Web网页成为人们获取信息的有效途径,Web数据挖掘逐渐成为国内外研究的热点。基于Web结构挖掘中HITS算法只考虑页面之间的链接关系而忽视了页面的具体内容,在这种情况下容易出现主题偏离[1]现象,影响了搜索结果,为了抑制主题偏离现象,本文把超链接信息检索方法与页面内容相结合,提出了一种改进的算法。实验结果证明改进的算法较原算法具有较好的效果,有效的抑制了主题偏离现象,具有一定的实用价值。  相似文献

提出了一种互联网信息智能搜索新方法。该方法能够从组织结构和内容描述类似的同类网站中,准确有效搜索出隐藏于其内部的目标网页。为此它采用了将网页间相互关联特征与网页内容特征描述有机结合而形成的一种新的搜索知识表示方法。基于这种知识表示方法及其所表示的知识;该智能搜索方法不仅能够对风站中网页进行深度优先的智能搜索,而且还能够通过对其搜索过程和结果的自学习来获取更多更好的搜索知识。初步实验结果表明,这种智能搜索新方法在对同类型网站的目标网页搜索中具有很强的深度网页搜索能力。  相似文献

Many experts predict that the next huge step forward in Web information technology will be achieved by adding semantics to Web data, and will possibly consist of (some form of) the Semantic Web. In this paper, we present a novel approach to Semantic Web search, called Serene, which allows for a semantic processing of Web search queries, and for evaluating complex Web search queries that involve reasoning over the Web. More specifically, we first add ontological structure and semantics to Web pages, which then allows for both attaching a meaning to Web search queries and Web pages, and for formulating and processing ontology-based complex Web search queries (i.e., conjunctive queries) that involve reasoning over the Web. Here, we assume the existence of an underlying ontology (in a lightweight ontology language) relative to which Web pages are annotated and Web search queries are formulated. Depending on whether we use a general or a specialized ontology, we thus obtain a general or a vertical Semantic Web search interface, respectively. That is, we are actually mapping the Web into an ontological knowledge base, which then allows for Semantic Web search relative to the underlying ontology. The latter is then realized by reduction to standard Web search on standard Web pages and logically completed ontological annotations. That is, standard Web search engines are used as the main inference motor for ontology-based Semantic Web search. We develop the formal model behind this approach and also provide an implementation in desktop search. Furthermore, we report on extensive experiments, including an implemented Semantic Web search on the Internet Movie Database.  相似文献

随着web上信息的急剧增长,如何有效地从web上获得高质量的web信息已经成为很多研究领域里的热门研究主题之一,比如在数据库,信息检索等领域。在信息检索里,web搜索引擎是最常用的工具,然而现今的搜索引擎还远不能达到满意的要求,使用链接分析,提出了一种新的方法用来聚类web搜索结果,不同于信息检索中基于文本之间共享关键字或词的聚类算法,该文的方法是应用文献引用和匹配分析的方法,基于两web页面所共享和匹配的公共链接,并且扩展了标准的K-means聚类算法,使它更适合于处理噪音页面,并把它应用于web结果页面的聚类,为验证它的有效性,进行了初步实验,实验结果显示通过链接分析对web搜索结果聚类取得了预期效果  相似文献

When classifying search queries into a set of target categories, machine learning based conventional approaches usually make use of external sources of information to obtain additional features for search queries and training data for target categories. Unfortunately, these approaches rely on large amount of training data for high classification precision. Moreover, they are known to suffer from inability to adapt to different target categories which may be caused by the dynamic changes observed in both Web topic taxonomy and Web content. In this paper, we propose a feature-free classification approach using semantic distance. We analyze queries and categories themselves and utilizes the number of Web pages containing both a query and a category as a semantic distance to determine their similarity. The most attractive feature of our approach is that it only utilizes the Web page counts estimated by a search engine to provide the search query classification with respectable accuracy. In addition, it can be easily adaptive to the changes in the target categories, since machine learning based approaches require extensive updating process, e.g., re-labeling outdated training data, re-training classifiers, to name a few, which is time consuming and high-cost. We conduct experimental study on the effectiveness of our approach using a set of rank measures and show that our approach performs competitively to some popular state-of-the-art solutions which, however, frequently use external sources and are inherently insufficient in flexibility.  相似文献

利用Web结构挖掘可以找到Web上的高质量网页,它大大地提高了搜索引擎的检索精度,目前的Web结构挖掘算法是通过统计链接到每个页面的超链接的数量和源结点的质量对页面进行评估,基于统计链接数目的算法存在一个严重缺陷:页面评价两极分化,一些传统的高质量页面经常出现在Web检索结果的前面,而Web上新加入的高质量页面很难被用户找到,提出了加速评估算法以克服现有Web超链接分析中的不足,并通过搜索引擎平台对算法进行了测试和验证。  相似文献

为了更好地为Web站内检索提供服务,对Web全文检索的关键技术进行了研究,设计并实现了一个用于Web全文检索的中间件。该中间件通过多线程网页爬虫程序来抓取网页;对抓取结果采用基于Bloom-Filter的大规模URL去重算法来进行高效消重;应用所提出的新的基于标签的正文提取方法来进行网页正文提取,实验结果表明该正文提取方法是有效可行的;此外,为了改善用户的搜索体验,该中间件还提供了一些个性化搜索辅助功能。最后,实现了一个完整的博客搜索系统Boso(博搜)来验证中间件的性能,结果说明该中间件是可以投入实际应用的。  相似文献

当前,Web上的很多网页是动态生成的,网站根据请求从后台数据库中选取数据并嵌入到通用的模板中,例如电子商务网站的商品描述网页.研究如何从这类由模板生成的网页中检测出其背后的模板,并将嵌入的数据(例如商品名称、价格等等)自动地抽取出来.给出了模板检测问题的形式化描述,并深入分析模板产生网页的结构特征.提出了一种新颖的模板检测方法,并利用检测出的模板自动地从实例网页中抽取数据.与其他已有方法相比,该方法能够适用于"列表页面"和"详细页面"两种类型的网页.在两个第三方的测试集上进行了实验,结果表明,该方法具有很高的抽取准确率.  相似文献

Web Services作为一种部署在Internet上的新型的可复用软件资源,得到广泛的重视和应用。但是,现有通用搜索引擎并不能很好地支持Web Services的发现,这使得软件开发人员需要花费很大的代价寻找合适的Web Services。鉴于此,提出了一种基于Internet的Web Services获取方法,采用通用搜索引擎和特定Web Services信息发布网站相结合的方法,从Internet上收集Web Services,并从Web Services的相关网页中抽取相关描述信息。利用收集到的Web Services数据,对当前互联网上的WebServices现状进行了统计分析。这些统计结果一定程度上反映了WebServices的发展现状。  相似文献

This paper presents two hyperlink analysis-based algorithms to find relevant pages for a given Web page (URL). The first algorithm comes from the extended cocitation analysis of the Web pages. It is intuitive and easy to implement. The second one takes advantage of linear algebra theories to reveal deeper relationships among the Web pages and to identify relevant pages more precisely and effectively. The experimental results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithms. These algorithms could be used for various Web applications, such as enhancing Web search. The ideas and techniques in this work would be helpful to other Web-related research.  相似文献

提出了一种基于DOM模型扩展的Web信息提取方法.将Web页面表示为DOM树结构,对DOM树结点进行语义扩展并计算其影响度因子,依据结点的影响度因子进行剪枝,进而提取Web页面信息内容.该方法不要求对网页的结构有预先认识,具有自动和通用的特点.提取结果除可以直接用于Web浏览外,还可用于互联网数据挖掘、基于主题的搜索引擎等应用中.  相似文献
