BiVO4 photocatalysts co-doped with La and B were prepared by sol-gel method using citric acid as chelate.The samples were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Brumauer-Emmett-Teller(BET),UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectra(DRS) and the photocatalytic activity was investigated by photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange(MO).The results showed that boron and lanthanum ions incorporated into the lattice of BiVO4,and co-doping led to more surface oxygen vacancies,high specific surface areas,small crystallite size,narrow band gap and intense light absorbance in visible region.And the doped La(III) ions could help the separation of photogenerated electrons.Compared with BiVO4 and B-BiVO4,the photocatalytic activity of La-B co-doped BiVO4 was remarkably improved due to the synergistic effects of the co-doped ions.The degradation rate of MO in 60 min was 98.4% when La doping content was 0.05 mol.%,which was much higher than that of pure BiVO4(20%) and B-BiVO4(37%).  相似文献

The doped ZnO nanorods as a photocatalyst with different Eu contents were prepared by microwave assisted method and they were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction(XRD),energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),UV-Vis spectroscopy,surface area Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The average crystallite size and band gap energy of Eu-doped ZnO were varied with the Eu content.The XRD pattern of Eu-doped ZnO indicated hexagonal crystal structure with an average crystallite size of 25 nm.The presence of europium with trivalent state and its doping successfully into the crystal lattice of ZnO matrix were confirmed by XPS technique.The photocatalytic activity of Eu-doped ZnO nanorods was evaluated for methyl orange degradation.The photocatalytic experiments showed ~91% degradation of methyl orange over 0.2 mol.% Eu doped ZnO sample within 3 h under UV light(365 nm).  相似文献

A series of La-doped TiO2 with different mass fractions were prepared by sol-gel method. Composite catalysts H3PW12O40/La-TiO2 with different loading levels were synthesized using impregnation method. The prepared samples were characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS) and nitrogen adsorption-desorption analysis. The Keggin structure of H3PW12O40 (HPW) remained intact on the surface of the composites, they had relatively uniform spherical grains of diameter less than 20 nm. The visible light activity of prepared composites were improved by loading HPW and doping La. The prepared composites were used as photocatalysts in degradation of pesticide imidacloprid. Results revealed that 20%H3PW12O40/0.3%La-TiO2 possessed the best photocatalytic activity. Thus, the degradation conversion of imidacloprid reached 98.17% after 60 min irradiation when 20%H3PW12O40/0.3% La-TiO2 was used as catalysts. The degradation of imidacloprid corresponded with first-order kinetic reaction, and the half life of the degradation of imidacloprid was 9.35 min in the optimal conditions.  相似文献

Nanoscale Lu2O3:Eu3+ phosphor was prepared by a modified solution combustion method using urea and acrylamide monomer.The particle sizes and photoluminescent properties of nano-phosphor were closely related to the molar ratio of urea-to-RE nitrates and acrylamide monomer-to-RE nitrates.The as-prepared samples with the sizes of 9.6-11.6 nm were characterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectrometer.Lu2O3:Eu3+ nano-phosphor that depicted high photoluminescence in the size around 10 nm was reported.Compared with the sample prepared by solid state reaction,the photoluminescence of sample was increased sufficiently to be 45.1%.The emission spectra of the samples presented the typical emission from 5D0 level to 7FJ(J=0,1,2,3,4) level of the Eu3+ ion.  相似文献

Preparation of Nano-TiO2 Doped with Cerium and Its Photocatalytic Activity   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
Cerium-doped titanium dioxide nano-powders were prepared through the sol-gel method and the compound sampies were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and UV/Vis diffuse reflectance spectra (DRS). The photocatalytic activity was evaluated by photocatalytic degradation of phenol in water. The results of XRD, TEM, and DRS show that pure TiO2 and Ce-doped TiO2 powder crystallines are a mixture of anatase and rutile ; the doping can retard the development of the grain size of TiO2 and decrease the diameter of TiO2 from more than 20 nm of pure TiO2 to about 10 nm; the doped TiO2 can improve the light absorption of TiO2 and suitable doping content tends to move the DRS spectrum of TiO2 towards visible light, but too much doping is not good for the light absorption ability. The results of the photocatalytic experiments show that doping with Ce content of 0.08% -0.4% can increase the photocatalytic activity of TiO2; however, doping with Ce content of 0.5% -2.5% can significantly decrease the photocatalytic activity of TiO2. The favorite doping content is 0.4% in the range of our experiments.  相似文献

Titanium dioxide nanoparticles modified with neodymium in the range of 1 mol% to 5 mol% were prepared with template-free sol-gel method.The structures of obtained samples were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction analysis.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy.The photocatalytic activity of the obtained samples was evaluated by photodegradation of methyl orange in aqueous solution under ultraviolet-visible(λ 350 nm) and visible(λ 420 nm) irradiation.The experimental results show that the 1 mol% Nd-doped TiO_2 exhibits the highest photocatalytic activity,of which the degradation can reach to 96.5% under visible irradiation.According to the XRD results,the pristine samples are combined with anatase TiO_2 and rutile TiO_2.while the Nd-doped TiO_2 samples are anatase TiO_2 only.This transformation has made an obvious promotion of photocatalyst activity after modification.  相似文献

Li+ and Eu3+ co-doped YPO4 hollow microspheres were successfully synthesized by a sacrificial template method using polystyrene (PS) as template. Techniques of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), as well as transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were employed to characterize the as-synthesized sample. Furthermore, the photoluminescence (PL) characterization of the Li+ and Eu3+ co-doped YPO4 microsphere was carried out and the effects of the doping concentration of Li+ and Eu3+ active center concentration as well as calcination temperature on the PL properties were studied in detail. The results showed that the incorporation of Li+ ions into the YPO4 :Eu3+ lattice could induce a remarkable improvement of the PL intensity. The highest emission intensity was observed with the compound of 5%Li+ and 5%Eu3+ co-doped YPO4 , whose brightness was increased by a factor of more than 2.2 in comparison with that of the YPO4 :5%Eu3+.  相似文献

In this study, Fe3O4@SiO2@ZnO:La microspheres were successfully prepared. The microspheres have the advantages of both ZnO doped with La and the Fe3O4@SiO2 structure such that the former improves the photocatalytic activity of ZnO and the latter can be reused. The X-ray diffraction (XRD), a field emission scanning electron microscope (SEM), a field emission transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) were used to characterize Fe3O4@SiO2@ZnO:La microspheres. Methyl orange was used as the model molecule to study the effect of the Zn2+ concentration and the doping amount of La on the photocatalytic activity of Fe3O4@SiO2@ZnO:La microspheres. Results show that in the synthesis of Fe3O4@SiO2@ZnO:La microspheres, photocatalytic activity of the microspheres is enhanced first and weakened later with the increase of Zn2+ concentration. In the La doping process, the photocatalytic activity of Fe3O4@SiO2@ZnO:La microspheres is enhanced with the increase in the La doping amount. The magnetic photocatalysts not only have high photocatalytic activity, but also can be reused. After being reused five times, the photocatalyst's degradation rate of methyl orange is still as high as 81%, which shows that magnetic photocatalysts have prospective wider applications in photocatalytic degradation of dye wastewater.  相似文献
