2006 Award Winners.

1998/1999 Award Winners: Distinguished Professional Contributions.

Announces the winners of the 1998/1999 Distinguished Professional Contributions Awards. These include the Award for Distinguished Professional Contributions to Knowledge (Peter E. Award for Distinguished Contributions to the International Advancement of Psychology.

The Award for Distinguished Contributions to the International Advancement of Psychology is given to an individual who has made sustained and enduring contributions to international cooperation and the advancement of knowledge in psychology. The recipient of the 2000 Award for Distinguished Contributions to the International Advancement of Psychology is Florence W. Kaslow. 2006 Award Winners: Awards for Distinguished International Contributions.

Presents the American Psychological Association 2006 Awards for Distinguished International Contributions. Award for Distinguished Contributions to Research in Public Policy.

The Award for Distinguished Contributions to Research in Public Policy is given to a psychologist who has made a distinguished empirical and/or theoretical contribution to research in public policy, either through a single extraordinary achievement or a lifetime of work. Award winners from 1988-2005 are listed. This document includes the citation awarded to Gail S. Goodman, the 2005 APA Award for Distinguished Contributions to Research in Public Policy. The Award for Distinguished Career Contributions to Education and Training and the Award for Distinguished Contributions to Education and Training are efforts of psychologists who have made distinguished contributions to education and training, who have produced imaginative innovations, or who have been involved in the developmental phases of programs in education and training in psychology. Each year one of these two awards is presented. The Distinguished Career Contributions Award recognizes continuous significant contributions made over a lifelong career in psychology; the Distinguished Contributions Award recognizes a more specific contribution to education and training. The 2004 recipient for the Award for Distinguished Career Contributions to Education and Training is Derald Wing Sue. The 2004 recipient for the Award for Distinguished Contributions to Education and Training is Nadine J. Kaslow. Emil R. Rodolfa is the 2004 recipient of the Award for Distinguished Contributions of Applications of Psychology to Education and Training. The Award for Distinguished Professional Contributions to Practice in the Public Sector recognizes outstanding service delivery by a psychologist who is primarily engaged in the practice of psychology in a public sector setting. The APA/APAGS Award for Distinguished Graduate Student in Professional Psychology is awarded on an annual basis by the Board of Professional Affairs (BPA) and the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS) to a graduate student who has demonstrated outstanding practice and application of psychology.
