M-T curves, ρ-T curves and MR-T curves of La0.67Sr0.33Mn1-xCrxO3(0.00≤ x ≤0.30) were studied. Experimental results indicate that the substitution of Cr on Mn sites is impotent in driving Tc, but with an increase of Cr content, there appear two peaks in resistivity and MR response, thus the temperature range of CMR response is significantly broadened. The extraordinary transport behavior and the abnormal CMR effect could be the results of coexistence and competition of Mn^3 + -O-Mn^4 + and Mn^3+ -O-Cr^3 + channels. 相似文献

Samples with nominal composition of (1 - x)La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 (LCMO)/xCuO (x = 0%, 2%, 4% and 20% ) were made using a special experimental method. The temperature dependence of the resistivity (ρ) of the composites was investigated in the temperature range of 10 - 300 K and different magnetic fields of H = 0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 1.0 and 3.0 T. The results showed that CuO percentage x had important effects on metal-insulator transition temperature (Tp), zero field peak resistivity (ρmax), and magnetoresistance (MR) properties of the composites. Tp shifted sharply towards low temperature with the increase of x in the range of x ≤4%, but was almost independent of x at high level of CuO content. Composites with x = 4 % and 20 % exhibited similar electrical transmission behavior. Compared with pure LCMO, enhanced magnetoresistance could be clearly observed even in a quite low magnetic field of 0.3 T. For x =4% and 20% samples, the MR value at 0.3 T could reach as high as - 88% and - 90%, respectively. XRD and SEM analysis showed that the substantial enhancement of MR, especially near Tp, was because of local spin disorder between contiguous LCMO ferromagnetic particles caused by the addition of CuO. 相似文献

The extraordinary colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) behavior in Mn-site doped system La0.67Ca0.33Mn1-xCrxO3(0.00≤x≤0.15) was reported. It was found that the substitution with Cr on Mn sites introduces an additional bump in zero-field resistivity. With increasing Cr content, this additional bump grows up drastically while the original resistivity peak associated with magnetic order transition diminishes gradually. Under the applied magnetic field, both bumps of resistivity are deeply compressed, which leads to the appearance of two peaks in CMR response. As a result, the temperature range of CMR response is significantly broadened, spanned from the lowest to near room temperature. These results suggest that Mn-site element substitution could be a potent way of tuning CMR response. 相似文献

The influence of heavy samarion (Sm) doping(0.40≤x≤0.60) on magnetic and electric properties of La0.67-xSmxSr0.33MnO3 was investigated by measuring the magnetization-temperature (M~T) curves, magnetization-magnetic density (M~H) curves, resistivity-temperature(ρ-T) curves and magnetoresistivity-temperature(MR~T) curves of the samples under different temperatures.It is found that, with the increase of Sm doping amount, the samples transform from long-range ferromagnetic order to spin-cluster glass state and anti-ferromagnetic state;and when x=0.60, the transport property becomes abnormal under magnetic background;and the magnetic structure changes and extra magnetic coupling induced by doping leads to colossal magnetoresistance effect.The transport mechanism of metallic conduction at low temperature is mainly electron-magneton interaction and can be fitted by the formula ρ=ρ0 AT4.5, and the insulator-like transport mechanism on high temperature range is mainly the function of variable-range hopping and can be fitted by the formula ρ=ρ0exp(T0/T)1/4.In the formulas above, ρ is resistivity, T is temperature, and A, ρ0, T0 are constants. 相似文献

M-T curves, p-T curves, and MR-T curves of La0.67-xErxSr0.33MnO3 (x=0.00, 0.10, 0.20) system were studied by experiments. The experiments showed that: with increasing the doping amount, the magnetic structure of the system transformed from long-range ferromag-netic ordering to spin-cluster glass state, and M-T curves bent up in the extremely low temperature range; the resistivity of the system in-creased with increasing doping amount and exhibited the minimum phenomenon of low-temperature resistivity. The variation of the mag-netic and electric properties came from the extra magnetic coupling induced by the doping and from the Kondo effect induced by the lattice distortion and local magnetic moments which was similar to that induced by the mattering of magnetic impurities on electron spins. 相似文献

La2/3 Sr1/3 Mn1-x ZnxO3films (x =0.05, 0.1,0.3, and 0.5) were prepared using magnetron sputtering method, and the effect of Zn doping on transport properties of the films was studied. An analysis of X-ray diffraction showed that the main phase of the bulk target was orthorhombic and the films had better epitaxial character. It was found that the films with x =0.05 and x =0.1 exhibited typical insulator-metal transition. No transition of the films with x≥0.3 was observed and the dominant transport was variable-range hopping due to observable secondary phase ZnO. A series of rare earth compound oxides with the formula of La0.8Sr0.2Mn1-xCoxO3( were prepared by the method of citric acid. Structures, figures and magnetic properties of the x=0.0, 0.3, 0.5, 1.0) samples were analyzed by means of XRD, SEM and SQUID. Experiment results prove that all the samples are hexagonal, but their figures and magnetic properties are different. La0.8Sr0.2MnO3 is ferromagnetic. La0.8Sr0.2Mn0.7CO0.3O3 and La0.8Sr0.2Mn0.5Co0.5O3 are ferrimagnetic. La0.8Sr0.2CoO3 is antiferromagnetic. SEM results indicate that the structure of the first three are three-dimensional reticulations which are made up of some small ellipsoids which link up at the head and the end. La0.8Sr0.2MnO3−δ was synthesized by the Pechini's method. The XRD pattern and TEM indicate the formation of the perovskite without the presence of secondary phases. It was found that La0.8Sr0.2MnO3−δ sample prepared at 1000 °C in air atmospheres, contains about 13.11% of the manganese as Mn4+ and 86.89% of the manganese as Mn3+. The electric measurements were carried out for La0.8Sr0.2MnO3–δ nanoceramics by using impedance spectroscopy methods and found to be 0.1 S/cm at 250 °C similar to the typical value of La0.8Sr0.2MnO3-δ materials. Its dependence on reciprocal temperature shows quite complicated mechanism of conduction. 相似文献

Polycrystalline La1-xNaxFeO3 (0.0≤x≤0.3) solid solutions were synthesized by a solution combustion method using glycine as a fuel. The combustion synthesized compounds were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), diffused reflectance (DR) in the UV-vis, and magnetic measurements. The crystal structure examined by X-ray powder diffraction indicated that the samples were single phase and crystallized in an orthorhombic (space group, Pbnm no.62) structure. The parent and sodium-substituted compounds showed canted anti-ferromagnetic behavior associated with an increase in magnetic moment as Na content increased. The changes in magnetic properties of the materials were correlated to the changes in structural features, as shown by Rietveld structural refinement of the materials. 相似文献

The composites La0.6Sm0.1Sr0.3MnO3 xCoO (x=0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 mol), named as Ax samples, were synthesized by the sol-gel technique to derive homogeneous CoO-coated composites. CoO addition induces an increase of resistivity (ρ) and a decrease of Curie temperature (TC), magnetization, and TP at which the ρ peak is located. It has been concluded that the resistivity below TP fits well with the equation ρ=ρ0 ρ2T2 ρ4.5T4.5, indicating the importance of grain/domain boundary effects, the electron-electron scattering process, and the two magnon scattering process. On the other hand, the paramagnetic insulating region may be explained by using adiabatic small polaron hopping mechanism, thereby indicating that polaron hopping might be responsible for the conduction mechanism.
