By marketing that trust, the company can become successful. Engineers can uphold their professional ethics by performing services only in which they are competent, avoiding conflicts of interest and endeavoring to continue their professional development. Quality of work can be achieved when the project manager has the necessary skills and experience to adequately staff a project and have a good working relationship with the client. To maintain efficiency, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) should be a top priority. This can be accomplished by having a team of professionals who have used QA/QC techniques direct each project. Also, weekly meetings should be held and attended by key team members to review and resolve issues. All documents, reports, etc. should be submitted to a QC reviewer to verify accuracy of the project with respect to the design, state and federal regulations and professional evaluations.

青钢推动五型班组建设实践

青钢第二高速线材厂建设＂安全型、技能型、效益型、创新型、和谐型＂的＂五型＂班组,制定了建设标准和工作计划,培育职工理念,建立机制,开展一年一度的QC小组活动。通过＂五型＂班组实践,提高了班组员工思想素质和岗位技能、班组内部管理水平,提升了班组产品质量形象和服务形象。     

Parent–child attitude congruence on type and intensity of physical activity: Testing multiple mediators of sedentary behavior in older children.

Objective: This study examined parent–child attitudes on value of specific types and intensities of physical activity, which may explain gender differences in child activity, and evaluated physical activity as a mechanism to reduce time spent in sedentary behaviors. Design: A community sample of 681 parents and 433 children (mean age 9.9 years) reported attitudes on importance of vigorous and moderate intensity team and individually performed sports/activities, as well as household chores. Separate structural models (LISREL 8.7) for girls and boys tested whether parental attitudes were related to child TV and computer via child attitudes, sport team participation, and physical activity, controlling for demographic factors. Main Outcome Measures: Child 7-day physical activity, sport teams, weekly TV, computer. Results: Parent–child attitude congruence was more prevalent among boys, and attitudes varied by ethnicity, parent education, and number of children. Positive parent–child attitudes for vigorous team sports were related to increased team participation and physical activity, as well as reduced TV and computer in boys and girls. Value of moderate intensity household chores, such as cleaning house and doing laundry, was related to decreased team participation and increased TV in boys. Only organized team sports, not general physical activity, was related to reduced TV and computer. Conclusion: Results support parents’ role in socializing children’s achievement task values, affecting child activity by transferring specific attitudes. Value of vigorous intensity sports provided the most benefits to activity and reduction of sedentary behavior, while valuing household chores had unexpected negative effects. Microwave staining of enteric neurons using cuprolinic blue (Quinolinic phthalocyanin) combined with enzyme histochemistry and peroxidase immunohistochemistry

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate routine use of the NeoPath AutoPap 300 QC System (AP 300) as it influences diagnostic quality and operations in a large cytology laboratory. STUDY DESIGN: During a three-month period, 35,143 conventionally prepared consecutive cervical cytologic smears taken from non-high-risk women and evaluated as negative by our staff of 25 cytotechnologists were selected for processing by four AP 300 instruments. Slides flagged for review by the AP 300 were reevaluated by our five quality control (QC) cytotechnologists. False negative (FN) results were compared with results of our current practice (CP), random-selection QC method, used during the preceding six months. RESULTS: A 240% increase was seen in the FN detection rate for atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASCUS) and squamous intraepithelial lesions (SIL) (n AP = 65 FN in 5,034 QC, n CP = 77 FN in 22,052 QC) and a 744% increase in the FN detection rate for low and high grade SIL (n AP = 24 FN/5,034 QC, n CP = 12 FN/22,052 QC). The rate of overcall by cytotechnologists did not increase. The QC ASCUS/SIL ratio improved. FN biopsy correlation increased from 45% to 85% (n CP = 17/38 agreement, n AP = 23/27 agreement). Turnaround time increased by one or more days for negative and 1.5 days for QC result reporting. Sensitivity varied among instruments. CONCLUSION: More FN results and greater specificity were seen using the AP 300 than using CP. As with other instrumentation, each laboratory should establish acceptable ranges of performance and baseline values for sensitivity and specificity.
