Langbeinite type compounds are a large kind of oxometallate with good flexibility structure.Herein,we synthesized a new langbeinite type compound K_2 Dy_(1.5)Ta_(0.5)(PO_4)_3,in which the Dy~(3+) and Ta~(5+) were blended to occupy the same crystallographic sites.Simultaneously, solid solutions of K_2 Dy_(1.5)_(-x)Eu_xTa_(0.5)(PO_4)_3(x=0-1.5) were prepared and their photoluminescence properties were investigated.Due to energy transfer from Dy~(3+) to Eu~(3+),both Dy~(3+) and Eu~(3+) characteristic emissions are observed under 393 nm light excitation. The emitting color of K_2 Dy_(1.5-x)Eu_xTa_(0.5)(PO_4)_3 turns from green through yellow to red by simply adjusting the Eu~(3+) concentration from 0 to 0.4.Moreover,K_2 Dy_(1.48)Eu_(0.02)Ta_(0.5)(PO_4)_3 phosphor possesses excellent fluorescence thermal stability and exhibits zero thermal quenching at 150 ℃.These results manifest that K_2 Dy_(1.5-x)Eu_xTa_(0.5)(PO_4)_3 solutions are promising multi-color emitting phosphors candidate for near-UV LED.  相似文献

The powder samples of Ca9Sc(PO4)7:xDy^(3+)white emitting phosphors were prepared via a solid state reaction technique. The Ca9Sc(PO4)7:Dy3+samples were researched by using the GSAS Rietveld refinement and X-ray diffraction(XRD) methods, and SEM images and elemental maps were recorded.Under 350 nm excitatio n,the emission spectra of Ca9Sc(PO4)7:xDy3+samples have two obvious peaks and one weak peak at 484,572 and660 nm,corresponding to the characteristic electron transitions of(4F9/26H15/2,blue),(4F9/26H13/2,yellow) and(4F9/2→ 6 H11/2,red),respectively.The concentration quenching effect, decay lifetime and thermal quenching of the as-synthesized Ca9Sc(PO4)7:Dy3+samples were researched systematically. The Ca9Sc(PO4)7:0.02 Dy3+phosphor possesses a good thermal stability,of which the emission intensity at 423 K can maintain 79% of the initial value(273 K).In addition, through the study of the chro maticity coordinates of the Ca9Sc(PO4)7:0.02 Dy3+phosphor,it is found that it is located in the white region, and the Commission Internationalede L’Eclairage(CIE) chromaticity coordinates are(0.339,0.389),The above results show that Ca9Sc(PO4)7:xDy3+phosphors can be excellent candidate material for applications in NUV-excited white LEDs.  相似文献

A series of Eu2+/Dy3+ single doped and co-doped Na3Sc2(PO4)3 phosphors were synthesized by the high-temperature solid-state method, and their phase, morphology, and luminescence properties were characterized. Under the excitation of 370 nm, the Na3Sc2(PO4)3:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphor can emit white light whose spectrum is composed of a broad emission band centered at 460 nm and the other three peaks at 483, 577, and 672 nm, respectively. There is energy transfer from Eu2+ to Dy3+ ion in Na3Sc2(PO4)3:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphor due to the good overlap between the emission spectrum of Na3Sc2(PO4)3:Eu2+ and the excitation spectrum of Na3Sc2(PO4)3:Dy3+, which is further confirmed by the fluorescence lifetime decrease of Eu2+ ion with the increase of Dy3+ concentration. The process of energy transfer is via dipole–quadruple interaction which is confirmed by applying Dexter's theory. By increasing the Dy3+ concentration, the color coordinates of the Na3Sc2(PO4)3:0.01Eu2+,xDy3+ phosphors can be adjusted from blue to white, and then to yellow. The optimized concentration of Dy3+ ions is 4.0 mol%, beyond which the concentration quenching will take place. The Na3Sc2(PO4)3:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphor shows fairly good resistance to thermal quenching behavior, of which the emission intensity at 423 K can maintain 90.3% of the initial value (298 K). These results suggest that the Na3Sc2(PO4)3:0.01Eu2+,xDy3+ phosphors have potential applications as the color-tunable or a single-phase white emitting phosphor in white LEDs.  相似文献

In this study, novel yellow-emitting fluorophosphate NaCa3Bi(PO4)3F phosphors doped with different concentrations of Dy3+ ions were first obtained via high-temperature solid-state reaction. The crystal structure, phase purity, particle morphology, photoluminescence (PL) properties, thermal stability, and luminescence decay curves of the resulting phosphors were then characterized in detail. Under the excitation of 349 nm, the three dominant peaks of the NaCa3Bi(PO4)3F:Dy3+ are centered at 480 nm (4F9/2-6H15/2), 577 nm (4F9/2-6H13/2), and 662 nm (4F9/2-6H11/2). The optimal doping concentration of Dy3+ ions in the NaCa3Bi(PO4)3F:xDy3+ phosphors is x = 5 mol%. The phosphors show excellent thermal stability with high activation energy (Ea = 0.32 eV). Eventually, the synthesized white light-emitting diode (w-LED) demonstrates the Commission International de L'Eclairage (CIE) chromaticity coordinates of (0.341, 0.334), a good correlated color temperature (CCT) of 5083 K, and a high color rendering index (Ra) of 92. Revealing its potential as yellow-emitting phosphors, the feasibility of the fabricated apatite-type NaCa3Bi(PO4)3F:Dy3+ fluorophosphate phosphors was confirmed for w-LEDs.  相似文献

A series of Tb~(3+) and Eu~(3+) co-doped NaY(WO_4)_2 phosphors were synthesized by hydrothermal reactions. The crystal structure, morphology, upconversion luminescent properties, the energy transfer from Tb~(3+) to Eu~(3+)ions and the ~5 D_4→ ~7 F_5 transition of the Tb~(3+) ion in NaY(WO_4)_2:Tb~(3+),Eu~(3+) phosphors were investigated in details. The results indicate that all the synthesized samples are of pure tetragonal phase NaY(WO_4)2.Furthermore,the micrometer-sized needle spheres and excellent dispersion of the particles are obtained by adding polyethylene glycol(PEG-2000) as the surfactant.Phosphors of NaY(WO_4)_2:Tb~(3+),Eu~(3+) exhibit the492 nm blue emission peak,546 nm green emission peak,595 nm orange emission peak and 616 nm red emission peak under 790 nm excitation. The energy transfer from Tb~(3+) to Eu~(3+) is a resonant transfer,in which electric dipole-dipole interaction plays a leading role.By adjusting the doping concentration of Eu~(3+) in NaY(WO_4)_2: 1.0 mol%Tb~(3+),xmol%Eu~(3+) phosphors, the emitting color of UC phosphors can be tuned from green to red.  相似文献

This study fully investigated the vacuum ultraviolet excitation spectra of pure and rare-earth(RE=Eu, Tb and Dy)-doped A2Zr(PO4)2(A=Li, Na and K) phosphors. The synthesized Na and Li compounds were characterized by XRD showing two new types of phases after indexation. Although these three pure compounds had different crystal structures, they exhibited similar luminescence properties. For Eu3+-activated samples, the broad excitation band centered at 217 nm could be attributed to the CT transition between O2–(2p6) and Eu3+ ions. For Tb3+-doped samples, two groups of f-d transitions were observed, where a strong broad band at 221 nm was due to the spin-allowed f-d transition. Energy transfer from O2– to Dy3+was not observed in Dy3+-doped phosphors, probably because it overlapped considerably with the CT transition from O2– to Zr4+ at 187 nm.  相似文献

Tri-doped Ca_9 LiY_(2/3)(PO_4)_7:Ce~(3+),Tb~(3+),Mn~(2+)phosphors were prepared by a high-temperature solid state method.Under UV light excitation,Ca_9 LiY_(2/3)(PO_4)_7:Ce~(3+)samples exhibit a broad band ranging from 320 to 500 nm.At 77 K,the emission spectra of Ca_9 LiY_(2/3)(PO_4)7:Ce~(3+)samples present two obvious emission peaks, indicating that Ce~(3+)ions occupy two different kinds of lattice sites(Ca(1/2) and Ca(3)),As a good sensitizer for Tb~(3+),Ce~(3+)ions in Ca_9 LiY_(2/3)(PO_4)_7 lattice can effectively transfer part of energy to Tb~(3+),and the energy trans fer mechanism is determined to be dipole-dipole interaction.Consequently, the emitting color for Ce~(3+) and Tb~(3+) co-doped Ca_9 LiY_(2/3)(PO_4)_7 samples can be tuned from bluish violet to green. In order to further enlarge the emission gamut,Mn~(2+)ions as red emission components were added, forming tri-doped single-phase Ca_9 LiY_(2/3)(PO_4)_7:Ce~(3+),Tb~(3+),Mn~(2+)phosphors.The Ca_9 LiY_(2/3)(PO_4)_7:Ce~(3+),Tb~(3+),Mn~(2+)phosphors exhibit tunable emission properties through controlling the relative doping concentration of Ce~(3+),Tb~(3+)and Mn~(2+).Especially,Ca_9 LiY_(2/3)(PO_4)_7:0.09 Ce~(3+),0.12 Tb~(3+),0.30 Mn~(2+)can emit warm white light. The sample shows good thermal stability. At 150℃,the emission intensity for Ce~(3+)(360 nm),Tb~(3+)(545 nm) and Mn~(2+)(655 nm) decreases to 63%,69%,and 72% of its initial intensity, respectively. Moreover, the sample obtains good stability after 10 cycles between room temperature and150℃.  相似文献

Novel yellow-emitting phosphors of Dy~(3+)-doped double perovskite Ca_2 MgTeO_6 were synthesized by using a conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction. The phase purity, particle morphology, size distribution, elemental composition, luminescence properties, and luminescence decay curves of the resulting products were then analyzed in detail. The Ca2 MgTeO_6:Dy~(3+),Na~+ phosphors show three emission peaks after near-ultraviolet excitation at 350 nm,which correspond to ~4 F_(9/2)→~6 H_(11/2),~4 F_(9/2)→~6 H_(13/2),and ~4 F_(9/2)→~6 H_(13/2) transitions, respectively.Among them, the strongest peak is observed at 573 nm.The best doping content of Dy~(3+)in Ca_2 MgTeO_6:xDy~(3+),xNa~+ phosphors is x=5 mol%.The calculated critical distance of energy transfer between Dy~(3+) ions is 1.6 nm.Luminescence quenching is confirmed to be due to dipole-dipole interactions among Dy~(3+) ions. The phosphors show excellent thermal stability with high activation energy(0.27 eV).The Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage(CIE) chromaticity coordinates of the Ca_2 MgTeO_6 Dy~(3+),Na~+ phosphors are located in the yellow region.White light-emitting diodes(w-LEDs) were fabricated with a high color rendering index(R_a) of 88 and a good correlated color temperature(CCT) of 5440 K.All observed properties indicate that Ca_2 MgTeO_6:Dy~(3+),Na~+ phosphors have potential applications in display and photonic devices.  相似文献

A series of Eu~(2+),Tb~(3+)-codoped Sr_3 Y(PO_4)_3(SYP) green phosphors were synthesized by hightemperature solid-state reaction. Several techniques, such as X-ray diffraction, UV-vis spectrum, and photoluminescence spectrum, were used to investigate the obtained phosphors. The present study investigates in detail photoluminescence excitation and emission properties, energy transfer between the two dopants, and effects of doping ions on optical band gap. SYP:0.05 Eu2+ phosphor shows an intense and broad excitation band ranging from 220 to 400 nm and exhibits a bright green emission band with CIE chromaticity coordinates(0.189, 0.359) under 350 nm excitation. Green emission of SYP:0.03 Tb3+ is intensified by codoping with Eu~(2+), and energy transfer mechanism between them is demonstrated to be a dipole-dipole interaction. Upon 350 nm excitation, SYP:Eu~(2+),Tb~(3+) phosphors exhibits two dominating bands peaking at 466 and 545 nm, which are assigned to 4 f~65 d~1→4 f~7 transition of Eu~(2+) ions and ~5 D_4→~7 F_5 transition of Tb~(3+) ions, respectively. Optimal doping concentrations of Eu~(2+) and Tb~(3+) in the SYP host are 5 mol% and 15 mol%, respectively. Results indicate that SYP:Eu~(2+),Tb~(3+) phosphors are potentially used as green-emitting phosphors for white light-emitting diodes.  相似文献

A series of red phosphors Ca10Li (PO4)7:Eu3+ were synthesized by high temperature solid-state reaction method. Their luminescence properties were characterized by means of photoluminescence excitation and emission spectra,CIE chromaticity and quantum efficiency. Results indicated that the phosphors could be effectively excited by the near ultraviolet (NUV) light (393 nm). The main emission peaks of the phosphor were ascribed to the transition 5D0-7F2 (613 and 617 nm) of Eu3+ ion when samples were excited by...  相似文献

Cyan-emitting Ca9NaGd2/3(PO4)7:Eu2+phosphors were synthesized via high temperature solid-state route.X-ray powder diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)were used to verify the phase and morphology of the Ca9NaGd2/3(PO4)7:Eu2+(CNGP:Eu2+)phosphors.The as-obtained phosphor exhibits a broad excitation band of 250-420 nm,which is near the ultraviolet region. An intense asymmetric cyan emission at 496 nm corresponds to the 5 d-4 f transition of Eu2+.The multiplesite luminescent properties of Eu2+ions in CNGP benefit from versatile structure ofβ-Ca3(PO4)2 compounds. The effective energy transfer distance is 5.46 nm(through the spectral overlap calculation),validating that the resonant energy migration type is via dipole-dipole interaction mechanism.Compared to the initial one at room temperature, the luminescent intensity of CNGP:Eu2+phosphor can maintain 77%as it is heated up to 420 K.A white light-emitting diode(WLED)with excellent luminesce nt properties was successfully fabricated. Moreover, the CIE chromaticity coordinates of fabricated WLED driven by changing current just change slightly.  相似文献

Polycrystalline Gd2(MoO4)3:Dy3+ phosphors have been synthesized by high temperature solid-state reaction method. The phosphors were characterized with X-ray diffractometer, thermogravimetric analysis and different scanning calorimeter, scanning electron microscopy, and photoluminescence spectrofluorimeter. Several peaks at 351, 389, 425, 452, and 472 nm appeared in photoluminescence excitation spectrum, which matched well with the emission of the ultraviolet (UV) and blue-light emitting diode (LED) chips. Upon excitation at 389 nm UV light, intense emissions centered at 484, 575 and 668 nm were attributed to the transitions of 4F9/26H15/2, 4F9/26H13/2 and 4F9/26H11/2 of Dy3+, respectively. The chromaticity coordinates and correlative color temperatures have been calculated and presented in the Commission International de I'Eclairage (CIE) diagrams. The results indicated that Gd1.9(MoO4)3:Dy0.13+ with CIE coordinates of (x=0.38, y=0.41) and the correlative color temperature of 4134 K is a potential candidate for white LEDs.  相似文献

The spectroscopic properties of a series of Dy~(3+) single-doped and Dy~(3+)/Nd~(3+),Dy~(3+)/Tb~(3+),and Dy~(3+)/Tm~(3+)co-doped YAlO_3(yttrium aluminum perovskite,YAP) phosphors were investigated and compared through the measurements of optical absorption, emission spectra, and fluorescence decay curves. For the Dy~(3+) ion single-doped samples, the intensity of each absorption band increases with an increment in Dy~(3+) ion doping concentration, and the identified strong absorption peak at 447 nm indicates that Dy~(3+):YAP phosphors are suitable to be pumped by a blue laser diode(LD).For all co-doped samples, absorption peaks of Dy~(3+) ion along with some of the absorption bands of Nd~(3+),Tb~(3+),and Tm~(3+) ions are observed.Under 351 and 447 nm excitation,a prominent emission peak at 572 nm was obtained in all the samples, corresponding to Dy~(3+):~4 F_(9/2)→~6 H_(13/2) transition.Here,2 at% Dy~(3+):YAP phosphor exhibits the highest yellow emission intensity under 447 nm pumping.Among the three kinds of Dy~(3+) co-doped phosphors,Dy~(3+)/Tb~(3+):YAP phosphor possesses the dominant yellow emission. The fluorescence decay curves show exponential behaviour and are fitted well. The Commission International de L'Eclairage(CIE)chromaticity coordinates were calculated following the respective emission spectra, and it is found that all the coordinates locate in the yellow region. The energy transfer(ET) processes were investigated and the concentration quenching mechanism was discussed. The obtained results suggest that Dy~(3+)-activated YAP phosphors are good candidates for yellow LED applications.  相似文献

Due to the characteristic emission of phosphors,phosphor-converted LEDs have been employed to provide the requisite light sources for indoor plant growth in the optical agricultural industry.Herein,we prepared a series of Mn2+co-doped NaSrB5 O9:Dy3+phosphors via a solid-state reaction method. These phosphors have significant three-band emissions at 467 nm(blue region),606 nm(orange region),and765 nm(far-red region),ascribed to the4F9/2-6H15/2and 4 F9/2-6 H13/2 transitions of the Dy3+ions and the4T1g(G)-6A1g(S)spin-forbidden transition of the Mn2+ions,respectively,when excited by light of 376 nm(near-UV region). The co-dopant in the host material facilitates tunable photoluminescence(PL)due to energy transfer from the Dy3+ions to the Mn2+ions.The three emission peaks from the prepared phosphors well match with the absorption spectra of the photosynthesis pigments of plants, chlorophyll and phytochrome, which can absorb blue(400-500 nm),orange-red(550-700 nm),and infrared(IR)radiation, indicating that these phosphors have potential applications in the fabrication of plant-growth LEDs.Prior to the PL studies, the structure of the phosphors was determined by X-ray diffraction, refined by Rietveld method and chemically quantified by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.  相似文献

A series of reddish orange phosphors Ba_3Gd_(1-x)(PO_4)_3:xSm~(3+)(x = 0.02.0.04,...,0.12) were prepared by the high-temperature solid-state reaction. X-ray powder diffraction(XRD) and diffuse reflectance and photoluminescence spectra were utilized to characterize the structure and spectral properties of the phosphors. The phosphors have strong absorption in the near-UV region. CIE chromaticity coordinates of the phosphors are located in the reddish orange region since the strongest emission band is around 598 nm and related to the ~4 G_(5/2)→~6 H_(7/2) transition of Sm~(3+). Optimal concentration of Sm~(3+) in the phosphors is about 6.0 at%. The quantum yield of the Ba_3Gd_(0.94)(PO_4)_3:0,06 Sm~(3+) under excitation at 403 nm is about 52.07%. Temperature dependent photoluminescence spectra of the Ba_3Gd_(0.94)(PO_4)_3:0.06 Sm~(3+) were measured and the phosphor exhibits high thermal stability of emission. All the results show that the Ba_3Gd(PO_4)_3:Sm~(3+) phosphor may be a potential red phosphor for near-UV based white LEDs.  相似文献

Eu2+-doped bromophosphateapatite Sr5(PO4)3Br phosphors were synthesized by the conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction. The crystal structure and luminescence properties of the phosphors, as well as their thermal stability and CIE chromaticity coordinates were systematically investigated. Photoluminescence spectra of Sr5(PO4)3Br:Eu2+ exhibit a single blue emission at 450 nm under the excitation of 345 nm, which is ascribed to the 4f–5d transition of Eu2+. The phosphor shows very good thermal stability. The CIE color coordinates are very close to those of BaMgAl10O17:Eu2+ (BAM). All the properties indicate that the blue-emitting Sr5(PO4)3Br:Eu2+ phosphor has potential application in white LEDs.  相似文献

The(Gd_(0.97-x)Eu_xTb_(0.03))AIO_3(x= 0.005-0.07) phosphors were synthesized by the co-precipitation method, using ammonium bicarbonate as a precipitant. The combined technologies of FT-IR,XRD,FESEM,PLE/PL and photo luminescence decay analysis were used to study the phase evolution, morphologies and luminescent properties. The phosphors with good dispersion exhibit strong vivid red emission located at 617 nm(~5 D_0-~7 F_2 transition of Eu~(3+)) under the optimal excitation wavelength of 275 nm(~4 f~8-4 f~75 d~1 transition of Tb~(3+),~8 S_(7/2)→6~I_J transition of Gd~(3+)).The presence of Gd~(3+) and Tb~(3+) excitation bands on the PLE spectra monitoring the Eu~(3+) emission directly gives an evidence of Tb~(3+) → Eu~(3+) and Gd~(3+) → Eu~(~(3+)) energy transfer,The emission intensity varies with the Eu~(3+) amount, and the quenching concentration is ~5 at% which is close to the calculated value. The quenching mechanism is determined to be the exchange reaction between Eu~(3+).The temperature-dependent PL analysis indicates that the best(Gd_(0.92)Eu_(0.05)Tb_(0.03))AlO_3 sample possesses good thermally stable properties. All the(Gd_(0.97-x)Eu_xTb_(0.03))AIO_3 phosphors in this work have similar CIE chromaticity coordinates and color temperatures, which are(0.65 ± 0.02,0.35 ± 0.02) and ~2558 K,respectively.Fluorescence decay analysis shows that the lifetime for~617 nm emission decreases with the content of Eu~(3+) and temperature increasing.Owing to the Tb~(3+)→ Eu~(3+) energy transfer, the luminescent properties of the(Gd_(0.92)Eu_(0.05)Tb_(0.03))AlO_3 phosphors are superior to the single Eu~(~(3+)) doped sample(Gd_(0.95)Eu_(0.05))AlO_3.As a result, the prepared phosphors may be widely used in solid-state display and light emitting devices.  相似文献

A series of blue long afterglow mixed halide-phosphate phosphors Sr5 (PO4)3 FxCll-x:Eu2+,Gd3+ were synthesized in air by traditional solid-state reaction routte. The crystal structures, photoluminescence, thermolurninescenee properties and afterglow proper- ties of the phosphors were characterized systematically using X-ray diffraction (XRD), luminescence spectrophotometer, microcom- puter thermoluminescence dosimeter and single photon counter, respectively. Under 280 nm excitation, the broadband emissions of Eu2+ ions were observed at 445 nm (blue) due to the 4f7→4f65d transition. It was demonstrated that there existed the self-reduction of the Eu3+ to Eu2+ ions in this special halide-phosphate matrix in air condition. The addition of Gd3+ ions obviously enhanced the after- glow properties of the single doped Eu2+ ions in the halide-phosphate phosphors. And the content of the fluoride anions also had sig- nificant influence on the afterglow properties. All results indicated that Srs (PO4)3 FxCI1-x:Eu2+,Gd3+ might be potential phosphors for long lasting phosphorescence (LLP) materials.  相似文献
