Rigid-viscoplastic 3D finite element simulations (3D FEM) of the equal channel angular pressing (ECAP), the combination of ECAP + extrusion with different extrusion ratios, and direct extrusion of pure aluminum were performed and analyzed. The 3D FEM simulations were carried out to investigate the load–displacement behavior, the plastic deformation characteristics and the effective plastic strain homogeneity of Al-1080 deformed by different forming processes. The simulation results were validated by microstructure observations, microhardness distribution maps and the correlation between the effective plastic strain and the microhardness values. The 3D FEM simulations were performed successfully with a good agreement with the experimental results. The load–displacement curves and the peak load values of the 3D FEM simulations and the experimental results were close from each other. The microhardness distribution maps were in a good conformity with the effective plastic strain contours and verifying the 3D FEM simulations results. The ECAP workpiece has a higher degree of deformation homogeneity than the other deformation processes. The microhardness values were calculated based on the average effective plastic strain. The predicted microhardness values fitted the experimental results well. The microstructure observations in the longitudinal and transverse directions support the 3D FEM effective plastic strain and microhardness distributions result in different forming processes. 相似文献

简述了汽车离合器减震轴套的几种典型成形工艺。基于Deform3D通用有限元软件,应用三维刚粘塑性有限元显式算法对预减震轴套精锻成形过程进行了模拟分析,得出了变形中材料的流动状态和等效塑性应变分布规律。根据有限元模拟分析结果对减震轴套精锻成形工艺参数、模具结构进行了优化设计,并进行了预减震轴套精锻成形工艺试验。试验验证了有限元模拟分析结果,并精锻成形出合格的汽车预减震轴套产品。 相似文献

Based on the characteristics of 3D bulk forming process, the arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE)formulation-based FEM is studied, and a prediction-correction ALE-based FEM is proposed which integrates the advantages of precisely predicting the boundary configuration of the deformed material, and of efficiently avoiding hexahedron remeshing processes. The key idea of the prediction-correction ALE FEM is elaborated in detail. Accordingly, the strategy of mesh quality control, one of the key enabling techniques for the 3D bulk forming process numerical simulation by the prediction-correction ALE FEM is carefully investigated, and the algorithm for hexahedral element refinement is formulated based on the mesh distortion energy. 相似文献

利用多点成形技术成形个性化钛合金颅骨修复体是一种新的数字化制造方法。文章采用动态显式有限元软件,依据实际成形条件建立有限元模型,对选用不同厚度的钢质垫板以及不同润滑条件下钛合金颅骨修复体的成形过程进行模拟,预测可能出现的破裂和起皱缺陷,分析采用不同工艺时成形缺陷的产生原因,并确定了能够获得良好结果的成形工艺。结果表明,采用有压边的多点成形方式,并使用钢质垫板和油润滑以后,可以抑制破裂和起皱缺陷的发生,得到合格的钛合金颅骨修复体,保证颅骨修复体个性化制造的成形质量。实验结果证明,模拟结果和实际吻合良好。 相似文献

运用大型工程软件UG作为几何建模工具,设计并创建了预锻模具。针对不同的预成形毛坯,分析其形状、尺寸对成形效果的影响;讨论了成形过程中的充不满问题,为获得合格的叶片精锻件提供了合理的毛坯形状。采用有限元分析模拟软件Deform对叶片预锻成形工艺过程进行了热力耦合数值模拟研究。研究表明:随着摩擦系数的增大,材料流动性越差,塑性变形抗力加大,且摩擦热增加,温度的最高值升高,所以选用较小的摩擦系数0.1时更合理。通过将模拟结果和实际应用结果进行对比分析,得出模拟过程与实际生产过程相一致,从而说明模拟结果具有一定的合理性和实用性。 相似文献

运用一种基于全量理论的多步有限元方法计算分析了金属体积成形过程.该方法针对刚塑性不可压缩材料,在静力平衡条件下以约束变分原理通过最小化近似塑性势能进行有限元求解.多步模拟在各中间构形的虚拟滑动约束下沿变形路径进行分步迭代计算,考虑了接触和变形历史,能够快速模拟较复杂的体积成形问题.运用该方法对几个典型金属体积成形过程进行了正向一步和多步数值模拟,将计算结果与增量有限元法计算结果进行了比较.结果表明:在计算金属体积成形过程中,基于全量理论的多步有限元模拟能够在大大缩短计算时间的同时获得与增量法计算结果相比偏差小于10%的计算结果. 相似文献

Traditionally a rotary forging process is a kind of metal forming method where a conic upper die, whose axis is deviated an angle from the axis of machine, forges a billet continuously and partially to finish the whole deformation. For the rotary forging process simulation, more researches were focused on simulating the simple stage forming process with axisymmetric part geometry. Whereas in this paper, the upper die is not cone-shaped, and the billet is non-axisymmetric. So the movement of the punch is much more complicated than ever. The 3D FEM simulation models for the preforming & final forming processes are set up aider carefully studying the complicated movement pattern. Deform-3D is used to simulate the material flow, and the boundary nodal resisting forces calculated by the final stage process simulation is used to analyze the final forming die strength. The CAE analysis of the die shows that the design of the final forming die is not reasonable with lower pre-stress which is easy to crack at the critical corners. An optimum die design is also provided with higher pre-stress, and verified by CAE analysis. 相似文献
