In order to develop a catalyst with high activity and stability for microwave assisted ClO2 catalytic oxidation, we prepared CuOn-La2O3/gamma-Al2O3 by impregnation-deposition method, and determined its properties using BET, XRF, XPS and chemical analysis techniques. The test results show that, better thermal ability of gamma-Al2O3 and high loading of Cu in the catalyst can be achieved by adding La2O3. The microwave assisted ClO2 catalytic oxidation process with CuOn-La2O3/gamma-Al2O3 used as catalyst was also investigated, and the results show that the catalyst has an excellent catalytic activity in treating synthetic wastewater containing 100 mg/L phenol, and 91.66% of phenol and 50.35% of total organic carbon (TOC) can be removed under the optimum process conditions. Compared with no catalyst process, CuOn-La2O3/gamma-Al2O3 can effectively degrade contaminants in short reaction time and with low oxidant dosage, extensive pH range. The comparison of phenol removal efficiency in the different process indicates that microwave irradiation and catalyst work together to oxidize phenol effectively. It can therefore be concluded from results and discussion that CuOn-La2O3/gamma-Al2O3 is a suitable catalyst in microwave assisted ClO2 catalytic oxidation process.  相似文献

The catalytic oxidation of aromatic hydrocarbons over supported metal oxide   总被引:9,自引:0,他引:9  
The catalytic activity of metals (Cu, Mn, Fe, V, Mo, Co, Ni, Zn)/gamma-Al2O3 was investigated to bring about the complete oxidation of benzene, toluene and xylene (BTX). Among them, Cu/gamma-Al2O3 was found to be the most promising catalyst based on activity. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer Emmett Teller method (BET), electron probe X-ray micro analysis (EPMA) and temperature programmed reduction (TPR) by H2 were used to characterize a series of supported copper catalysts. Increasing the calcination temperature resulted in decreasing the specific surface areas of catalysts and, subsequently, the catalytic activity. Copper loadings on gamma-Al2O3 had a great effect on catalytic activity, and 5 wt.% Cu/gamma-Al2O3 catalyst was observed to be the most active, which might be contributed to the well-dispersed copper surface phase. Using TiO2 (anatase), TiO2 (rutile), SiO2 (I) and SiO2 (II) as support instead of gamma-Al2O3, the activity sequence of 5 wt.% Cu with respect to the support was gamma-Al2O3 > TiO2 (rutile) > TiO2 (anatase)>SiO2 (I) > SiO2 (II), and this appeared to be correlated with the distribution of copper on support rather than with the specific surface area of the catalyst. The smaller particle size of copper, due to its high dispersion on support, had a positive effect on catalytic activity. The activity of 5 wt.% Cu/gamma-Al2O3 with respect to the VOC molecule was observed to follow this sequence: toluene > xylene > benzene. Increasing the reactant concentration exerted an inhibiting effect on the catalytic activity.  相似文献

A series of CeO(2)-ZrO(2) mixed oxides were prepared using coprecipitation method and characterized by BET, oxygen storage capacity (OSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and H(2)-temperature-programmed reduction (H(2)-TPR). The catalytic activities toward toluene combustion were investigated in a micro-reactor. The results demonstrate that the catalytic activity of Pt/gamma-Al(2)O(3)/Ce(0.50)Zr(0.50)O(2) monolithic catalyst can be greatly improved by doping metal into Ce(0.50)Zr(0.50)O(2). When doping Y and Mn into Ce(0.50)Zr(0.50)O(2) simultaneously, the catalyst Pt/gamma-Al(2)O(3)/Ce(0.40)Zr(0.40)Y(0.10)Mn(0.10)O(X) shows the highest activity. The T(10) (the temperature of 10% toluene conversion) and the complete conversion temperature (the temperature of 90% toluene conversion) of toluene are 443 and 489K, respectively. Gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) results show that the prepared catalyst can be applied in a wide range of GHSV (from 12,000 to 20,000h(-1)). 采用FeSO4-H2O2体系对碳纳米管氧化修饰的同时,氢氧化铁被吸附在碳纳米管管壁上,然后分别通过氢气、氮气、空气在723K下处理2h,制备了碳纳米管负载的γ-Fe2O3催化剂、γ-Fe2O3和α-Fe2O3复合催化剂和非晶态Fe2O3催化剂。采用XRD、TEM和TG-DSC表征了催化剂结构,采用连续流动乙苯气相脱氢生成苯乙烯反应对催化剂性能进行评价,结果表明:热处理条件对催化剂乙苯脱氢的催化性能影响明显,碳纳米管负载的晶态Fe2O3纳米催化剂对乙苯脱氢具有高的活性与选择性。  相似文献

Aqueous phase reforming of glycerol over the Pd loaded Ni/Al2O3 catalysts   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Bifunctional catalysts containing (0.5-1.5 wt%) palladium and 15 wt% of Nickel supported on gamma-Al2O3 were prepared via an impregnation technique and catalysts were characterzed by XRD BET surface area and SEM, respectively. The aqueous phase reforming of glycerol (APR) was conducted over alumina-supported catalysts at different reaction conditions for catalytic activity. Finally, we concluded that the 1.0 wt% Pd 15 wt% Ni/gamma-Al2O3 catalyst evidences higher conversion, hydrogen selectivity, lower alkane selectivity and CO production. This indicate that Pd loaded Ni/gamma-Al2O3 could be a potential catalyst for the APR of glycerol.  相似文献

MnO(x)-CeO(2)-Al(2)O(3) mixed oxides were prepared by impregnating manganese acetate and cerium nitrate on alumina powders using the sol-gel method. The thermal stabilities of MnO(x)-CeO(2) and Al(2)O(3)-modified mixed oxides were evaluated by treating at 800 °C in dry air flow for 20h. The introduction of Al(2)O(3) markedly increases the textural stability of the catalyst with a relatively high dispersion of MnO(x) and CeO(2), remaining a strong synergistic effect between these two oxides. The NO oxidation activity of the ternary oxides experiences a smaller loss after high-temperature calcination, and a low soot oxidation temperature is attained in the presence of NO.  相似文献

本文采用溶胶-凝胶法制备了不同含量的Y2O3掺杂的CeO2粉体,并在4mol%Y2O3—CeO2粉体中掺入Al2O3,研究了各样品的烧结性能和电性能。结果表明:适量的掺杂Y2O3能提高氧化铈的密度,但Y2O3含量超过4%mol后密度下降。一定量的Al2O3也能提高材料的烧结密度。随着Y2O3含量的增大,CeO2的电导先增大后减小,而掺入Al2O3对材料的电导不利。  相似文献

Catalytic oxidation is one of the cost-effective technologies to solve the troublesome volatile organic compounds. This study treated methyl-isobutyl-ketone (MIBK) by a commercial catalyst, Pt/gamma-Al(2)O(3), in a fixed-bed reactor. The effects of operating factors, such as operating temperature, MIBK concentration, space velocity, and O(2) concentration, on the performance of the catalyst were investigated. The products and reactants distributions from the oxidation of MIBK over Pt/gamma-Al(2)O(3) were observed. The results show that the products containing carbon atoms are CO, CO(2), and C(3)H(6)O. Two catalyst life-tests were also carried out to characterize the deactivation effect of MIBK. The result shows that the deactivation effect may be due to the coke on the catalyst surface at 423 K. From the statistical analysis, the operating temperature is the most effective factor on the conversion of MIBK. The catalysts were also characterized by surface area analysis and elemental analysis before and after the test. The results show that the catalytic deactivation may be due to carbon coating. At low temperature (423 K), the phenomenon of carbon coating was more obvious than that at high temperature (573 K). The product distributions from the oxidation of MIBK over Pt/gamma-Al(2)O(3) were analyzed by GC. The results indicate that the C(3)H(6)O is formed from the beginning, presenting a peak at 423 K, 6.54 ppm. The CO concentration also peaked at the same temperature, 6.84 ppm.  相似文献

La2O3-CeO2 nanopowders with different La2O3 (0-20 mol%) were prepared by the sol-gel method. The modification of the cubic structure of ceria by substituting La3+ for Ce4+ into the lattice of CeO2 has been investigated. The crystal structure of La2O3-CeO2 nanomaterials has been examined by X-ray powder diffraction and analyzed by the Rietveld refinement method. The introduction of La3+ enlarges the octahedral void of unit cell in the cubic CeO2, which favors the oxygen migration in the crystal lattice. Raman characterization results show that the wavenumber of the La2O3-CeO2 solid solution shifted to red and the oxygen vacancy increased with lanthana content in Ce(1-x)La(x)O(2-x/2). The oxygen vacancy, generated by La3+ substituting for Ce4+, could supply more channels for oxygen migration through the lattice. The changes of lattice structure and the oxygen vacancy with La2O3 are correspondence with the results of oxygen storage capacity (OSC) measurement, which indicate that the changes of macro-performance are connected with the microstructure deformation of La2O3-CeO2. The kinetics of Ce0.9La0.2O1.9 nanomaterials with the highest OSC value was studied and the apparent activation energy (E(a)) of reduction and oxidation process was calculated to be 5.6 and 6.0 kJ/mol, respectively. The low E(a) value might be one of the reasons for Ce0.8La0.2O1.9 nanomaterials with the high OSC value.  相似文献

The presence of Fe(3)O(4)-CoO/Al(2)O(3) can improve degradation efficiency significantly during the ozonation of the herbicide 2-(2,4-dichlorophenoxy) propionic acid (2,4-DP). The main factors affecting degradation efficiency, such as pH, the catalyst concentration and addition of the scavenger, were investigated. The kinetics of the catalytic ozonation are also discussed. The results indicate that two factors, the oxidation after adsorption of 2,4-DP and the oxidation of hydroxyl radicals (OH), lead to a great enhancement in ozonation efficiency during the catalytic ozonation of 2,4-DP in the presence of Fe(3)O(4)-CoO/Al(2)O(3), in which the oxidation of the OH plays an important role. Under controlled conditions, the apparent reaction rate constants for the degradation of 2,4-DP were determined to be 2.567 × 10(-4)s(-1) for O(3) and 1.840 × 10(-3)s(-1) for O(3)/Fe(3)O(4)-CoO/Al(2)O(3). The results from the analysis of the reaction kinetics using the relative method showed that O(3)/Fe(3)O(4)-CoO/Al(2)O(3) possessed a larger R(ct) (R(ct) is defined as the ratio of the ·OH exposure to the O(3) exposure, R(ct) = ∫C(t)(OH) dt/C(t)O(3)dt) than O(3), indicating that O(3)/Fe(3)O(4)-CoO/Al(2)O(3) produced more hydroxyl radicals.  相似文献

Catalytic oxidation of VOC (toluene) over a copper based catalyst was carried out to assess its properties and performance. The Brunauer Emmett Teller (BET) method, X-ray diffraction (XRD), temperature programmed reduction (TPR), N2O pulse titration and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) were used to characterize a series of 5 wt% Cu/gamma-Al2O3 catalysts modified with silver. The experimental results revealed that the addition of silver to 5 wt% Cu/gamma-Al2O3 catalyst highly enhanced its catalytic activity. With increasing addition amount of silver, the light-off curve for complete oxidation of toluene shifted to lower temperature. In addition, the increase of the addition amount of silver caused the copper particle size of 5 wt% Cu/gamma-Al2O3 catalyst to gradually increase. Subsequently, it demonstrated that the increase in the copper particle size is closely associated with the increase in catalytic activity.  相似文献

The ZrO2-CeO2-AI2O3 system has been assessed with the CALPHAD (Calculation of Phase Diagrams) technique using the PARROT procedure. The experimental information on the ZrO2-AI2O3, AI2O3-CeO2 systems as well as the isothermal sections of the ternary system at 1673 K and 1873 K is well reproduced. According to the assessed isothermal section at 1723 K, no alumina dissolves into the tetragonal zirconia phase. Specimens with different alumina content are fabricated from commercial 12 mol pct CeO2-stabilized ZrO2 powder (12Ce-ZrO2). The thermodynamic properties are consistent with the observed microstructure, which present a combination of tetragonal phase and alumina grains.  相似文献

SO(4)(2-)/Fe(2)O(3)-CoO solid catalyst was prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Fourier transfer infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. Its catalytic activities in oxidation and isomerization of cyclohexane in air under mild condition were studied by UV, GC/MS and XPS. The results suggested that isomerization and oxidation of cyclohexane under mild conditions can synchronously performed and the catalytic activity of the catalyst can be improved by promotion of Co element into the sulfated iron. The high catalytic activities of catalysts may be related to the shift of the asymmetric stretching frequency of the SO bonds of sulfate species. Finally, the possible mechanism was also proposed.  相似文献

Catalytic wet peroxide oxidation of phenol solutions over CuO/CeO2 systems   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Three 5% CuO/CeO(2) catalysts were synthesized by sol-gel, precipitation and combustion methods, followed by incipient wetness impregnation with copper nitrate. The samples were characterized by XRD, TPR, BET and tested for the catalytic wet peroxide oxidation of a phenol solution (5 g/L). The reaction took place in a batch reactor at atmospheric pressure, in a temperature range of 60-80°C, during 4h. Phenol conversion, H(2)O(2) consumption, pH and chemical oxygen demand were determined. The reaction temperature and the catalyst loading did improve the phenol and the H(2)O(2) conversions. The effect on the selectivity towards complete mineralization was less marked, with levels among 60-70%. Stepwise addition of H(2)O(2) was also tested.  相似文献

In the present study, the catalytic partial oxidation of methane (CPOM) over various active metals supported on CeO2 (M/CeO2, M = Ir, Ni, Pd, Pt, Rh and Ru) has been investigated. The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), BET surface area, H2-temperature programmed reduction (H2-TPR), CO chemisorption and transmission electron microscope (TEM) analysis. Ir/CeO2 catalysts showed higher BET surface area, higher metal dispersion, small active metal nano-particles (approximately 3 nm) than compared to other M/CeO2 catalysts. The catalytic tests were carried out in a fixed R(mix) ratio of 2 (CH4/O2) in a fixed-bed reactor, operating isothermally at atmospheric pressure. From time-on-stream analysis at 700 degrees C for 12 h, a high and stable catalytic activity has been observed for Ir/CeO2 catalysts. TEM analysis of the spent catalysts showed that the decrease in the catalytic activity of Ni/CeO2 and Pd/CeO2 catalysts is due to carbon formation whereas no carbon formation has been observed for Ir/CeO2 catalysts.  相似文献

Humic acid coated Fe(3)O(4) magnetic nanoparticles (Fe(3)O(4)/HA) were prepared for the removal of sulfathiazole from aqueous media. Fe(3)O(4)/HA exhibited high activity to produce hydroxyl (OH) radicals through catalytic decomposition of H(2)O(2). The degradation of sulfathiazole was strongly temperature-dependent and favored in acidic solution. The catalytic rate was increased with Fe(3)O(4)/HA dosage and H(2)O(2) concentration. When 3 g L(-1) of Fe(3)O(4)/HA and 0.39 M of H(2)O(2) were introduced to the aqueous solution, most sulfathiazole was degraded within 1h, and >90% of total organic carbon (TOC) were removed in the reaction period (6h). The major final products were identified as environmentally friendly ions or inorganic molecules (SO(4)(2-), CO(2), and N(2)). The corresponding degradation rate (k) of sulfathiazole and TOC was 0.034 and 0.0048 min(-1), respectively. However, when 3 g L(-1) of bare Fe(3)O(4) were used as catalyst, only 54% of TOC was eliminated, and SO(4)(2-) was not detected within 6h. The corresponding degradation rate for sulfathiazole and TOC was 0.01 and 0.0016 min(-1), respectively. The high catalytic ability of Fe(3)O(4)/HA may be caused by the electron transfer among the complexed Fe(II)-HA or Fe(III)-HA, leading to rapid regeneration of Fe(II) species and production of OH radicals.  相似文献

Aqueous phase reforming of glycerol over Ni-based catalysts for hydrogen production was carried out at 225 degrees C, 23 bar and LHSV = 4 h(-1). The Ni-based catalyst was prepared by an incipient wetness impregnation method. The catalysts before and after the reaction were characterized by N2 physisorption, CO chemisorption, XRD, TPR, SEM and TEM techniques. It was found that Ni(20 wt%)-Co(3 wt%)/gamma-Al2O3 catalyst showed higher glycerol conversion and hydrogen selectivity than Ni(20 wt%)/gamma-Al2O3 catalyst. There are no major changes in Ni particles after the reaction over Ni-Co/gamma-Al2O3 catalyst. The results suggest that the Ni-Co/gamma-Al2O3 catalyst can be applied to the hydrogen production system using APR of glycerol.  相似文献

以锰氧化物为活性组分,CeO2-TiO2为载体制备了Mn/CeO2-TiO2催化剂.考察了Fe的加入对Mn/CeO2-TiO2的低温NH3-SCR活性的影响.并采用BET比表面积,H2程序升温还原(H2-TPR)和X射线光电子能谱(XPS)等手段对催化剂进行了表征.活性结果表明,Fe的引入显著改善了Mn/CeO2-TiO2的NH3-SCR活性,催化剂在113~250℃之间表现出良好的NO去除效率.表征结果表明,Fe的引入促进了锰物种在CeO2-TiO2表面的分散,降低了Mn-Fe/CeO2-TiO2中锰物种的还原温度.XPS分析指出Mn-Fe/CeO2-TiO2表面Mn以+4价存在,而Fe主要以+3价的Fe2O3存在,且Fe与载体表面间存在强相互作用.  相似文献

Rapid decolourization of Methyl Orange by Fenton-like mesoporous Fe(2)O(3)-SiO(2) catalyst has been reported. The effect of various parameters such as initial pH, initial H(2)O(2) concentration, Fe content in the catalyst and initial dye concentration on decolourization process were studied. The results show that 20mg of mesoporous Fe(2)O(3)/SiO(2) composite (with Si/Fe=10) was sufficient to decolourize 0.6 mg/ml of Methyl Orange in presence of 2 ml of H(2)O(2) at an initial pH of 2.93 within 20 min. The pH range for effective decolourization (≥90%) was found to be 1-3. Leaching tests indicated that the activity of the catalyst was almost unaffected up to three consecutive cycles although ≤0.2 ppm of Fe ion was leached into treated water in each run.  相似文献

A novel in situ method based on a liquid membrane templated self-assembly process is employed to modify carbon tube-in-tube nanostructures (TTCNTs) with Fe(2)O(3) nanoparticles. The as-obtained Fe(2)O(3) modified TTCNTs (Fe(2)O(3)/TTCNTs) nanocomposites are well constructed and the Fe(2)O(3) nanoparticles are well dispersed and decorated on the outer, inner and intramolecular surfaces of TTCNTs. In addition, the Fe(2)O(3)/TTCNTs nanocomposites are employed as catalysts for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with NH(3) and show high SCR catalytic activity, indicating that the novel multiple intramolecular channels and unique surface chemistry of the TTCNTs should play an important role in improving the properties of?TTCNTs.  相似文献
