A touch screen has been developed which senses finger position by the obstruction of a network of infra-red beams passing in front of the screen. As this system does not use touch sensing per se, it becomes possible to introduce a second level of activation based on finger pressure. The major attraction of the proposed scheme is that it allows the desired item to be located before it is selected; feedback is provided to confirm the location. In addition, the response of the terminal to the selection can be programmed to simplify the driving software, and to provide compatibility with conventional terminals.  相似文献

针对目前触摸屏必须接触式控制的缺陷,提出了一种基于图像处理技术的新型触摸屏系统。该系统以微软VX—6000USB2.0摄像头为图像传感器,由PC机采集图像序列,识别和跟踪定位激光光斑,并对用户的指点控制信息做出相应反应。阐述了该系统结构及定位原理,使用基于OpenCV(open source computer vision library)的图像处理算法辅助开发其软件系统。提出一种基于边界修复的图像二次校正法,通过对训练样本的测量发现,系统拥有很好的指点精度。实验结果表明,所设计触摸屏系统能够初步实现非接触式指点的要求,为大屏幕挂壁式非接触式触摸屏系统的研究提供了有效的思路。  相似文献

Various kinds of touch panel displays are becoming readily available for implementing futuristic human computer interaction (HCI) methods and are proven to be a useful infrastructure for inventing intuitive HCI environments. In spite of their popularity, there are some drawbacks. The most serious one is their hardness to operate especially for the weak in information technology such as elderly and blind users. A tactile feedback function has a potential ability for enabling them to make full use of the devices. We propose an approach for effectively designing user-friendly HCI environments based on the tactile feedback. We exemplify our approach through the design and development of a practical application, a haptic web browsing system. It allows even the weak users to intuitively explore various web pages without heavily depending on the visual information. While the system targets at supporting the weak, the touch interactions are quite useful means for general users to improve the stability and the degree of satisfaction in web browsing operations. The proposed system uses a touch panel haptic display for helping the users to operate with intuitive touch sensations.  相似文献

With the increasing popularity of touch screen mobile devices, improving the usability and the user experience while inputting text on these devices is becoming increasingly important. Most conventional touch screen keyboards on mobile devices rely heavily on visual feedback, while auditory feedback seldom includes any useful information about what is being inputted by the user. The auditory feedback usually simply replicates the sounds produced by a physical keyboard. This paper describes the development of an enhanced auditory feedback mechanism for a Korean touch screen keyboard called the enhanced auditory feedback (EAF) mechanism. EAF has subtle phonetic auditory feedback generated using the acoustic phonetic features of human speech. While typing with EAF, users can acquire non-invasive auditory clues about the keys pressed. In this work, we compare conventional auditory feedback for a touch screen keyboard used in touch screen mobile devices with that of EAF and explore the possibility of using enhanced auditory feedback for touch screen keyboards.  相似文献

为避免大屏幕触摸屏中人体遮挡无法识别手指的问题设计了一种虚拟触摸屏系统,由至少两个一维图像采集装置、显示屏和数据处理装置构成。一维图像采集装置可以是一维线性传感器,配合镜头、信号转换和接口电路实现;也可以是市场上易于购得的二维图像采集装置摄像头,使用其一维图像数据。由一维图像采集装置采集手指在虚拟触摸屏上的一维图像数据,根据多个一维坐标点位置与二维虚拟触摸屏上点位置的一一对应关系,由数据处理装置将其转换为手指触摸屏幕上的二维直角坐标,从而完成对应的操作,实现人机交互。  相似文献

针对现有红外触摸屏多点识别时识别错乱和画图时轨迹毛刺严重等问题,在原有识别算法的基础上,加入了卡尔曼滤波与跟踪门算法结合的目标跟踪算法处理,提出一种新型红外触摸屏优化算法。该算法通过数据关联中的跟踪门逻辑,将量测值与已有的目标轨迹进行逻辑判断,选择正确的触点信息,剔除伪触点的信息,实现轨迹关联和目标跟踪。同时在红外触摸屏上建立触点的运动模型上,通过卡尔曼滤波实现轨迹的平滑和一定程度上的轨迹预测。在红外触摸屏上的测试表明,与原有的识别算法相比,优化算法增加了约3 μs单点识别时间,但是提高了轨迹在拐角处的平滑度,减少了拐角处约60%的毛刺。优化算法有效地修正了红外触摸屏原有的不足,能实现多触点时的轨迹关联和提高轨迹的平滑程度,能提高红外触摸屏绘图时的实际使用效果。  相似文献

This study aims to determine whether indirect touch device can be used to interact with graphical objects displayed on another screen in an air traffic control (ATC) context. The introduction of such a device likely requires an adaptation of the sensory-motor system. The operator has to simultaneously perform movements on the horizontal plane while assessing them on the vertical plane. Thirty-six right-handed participants performed movement training with either constant or variable practice and with or without visual feedback of the displacement of their actions. Participants then performed a test phase without visual feedback. Performance improved in both practice conditions, but accuracy was higher with visual feedback. During the test phase, movement time was longer for those who had practiced with feedback, suggesting an element of dependency. However, this ‘cost’ of feedback did not extend to movement accuracy. Finally, participants who had received variable training performed better in the test phase, but accuracy was still unsatisfactory. We conclude that continuous visual feedback on the stylus position is necessary if tablets are to be introduced in ATC.  相似文献

This study investigated the relationships between thumb muscle activity and thumb operating tasks on a smartphone touch screen with one-hand posture. Six muscles in the right thumb and forearm were targeted in this study, namely adductor pollicis, flexor pollicis brevis, abductor pollicis brevis (APB), abductor pollicis longus, first dorsal interosseous (FDI) and extensor digitorum. The performance measures showed that the thumb developed fatigue rapidly when tapping on smaller buttons (diameter: 9 mm compared with 3 mm), and moved more slowly in flexion–extension than in adduction–abduction orientation. Meanwhile, the electromyography and perceived exertion values of FDI significantly increased in small button and flexion–extension tasks, while those of APB were greater in the adduction–abduction task. This study reveals that muscle effort among thumb muscles on a touch screen smartphone varies according to the task, and suggests that the use of small touch buttons should be minimised for better thumb performance.  相似文献

This study investigates the effect of vehicle motion on performance, usability and workload for a touch screen in-vehicle Battle Management System (BMS). Participants performed a series of battle management tasks while a vehicle was driven over sealed (characteristic of 'normal' vehicle motion) and unsealed (characteristic of 'high' vehicle motion) roads. The results indicate that unsealed road conditions impair the performance of information input tasks (tasks that require the user to enter information, e.g. text entry) but not information extraction tasks (tasks that require the user to retrieve information from the system, e.g. reading coordinates). Participants rated workload as higher and the system as less usable on the unsealed road. In closing, the implications for in-vehicle touch screen design and use in both military and civilian driving contexts are discussed. Practitioner Summary: The effect of motion on interacting with in-vehicle touch screen devices remains largely unexplored. This study examines the effect of different levels of vehicle motion on the use of a BMS. Using the system under off-road conditions had a detrimental impact on workload, performance and usability.  相似文献
