We have studied the effect of In3+, Pb2+, Gd3+, and Cl (heavier ions) substitutions for Al3+, Ba2+, La3+, and F? on the crystallization stability and UV/IR optical properties of HBLAN fluorohafnatc glasses (HfF4-BaF2-LaF3-AlF3-NaF system). We obtained stable glasses containing InF3 and BaCl2 instead of AlF3 and BaF2, respectively, and offering increased IR transmission. The presence of CCl4 in the process atmosphere and the removal of oxygen-containing impurities via directional solidification are shown to have an advantageous effect on the optical quality of the glasses. The fluoride-chloride glasses are capable of accommodating about 1.5 times higher levels of rare-earth activators in comparison with their fluoride analogs.  相似文献

Reconstruction of the radiation situation in areas subjected to nuclear accidents was done with an example of the Chernobyl accident (1986) on the basis of the radionuclidic composition of soil samples. The radionuclidic composition of γ-emitters was determined 19 years after the accident in a pulverescent sandstone sample collected in July 1986 at a distance of 1.5 km from the 4th block. Using reference data and data from original papers, reconstruction of the radionuclidic composition of the sample is done on the first ten days after the accident, and possible variations of the γ-radiation dose rate were determined within the framework of the thin film model. Based on the results obtained, variations of the absorbed dose of γ-radiation in 10 days are estimated, which is necessary for making urgent decisions in the initial period after the accident. The results are well consistent with the published data on the dose rates, validating the decision on evacuation of the people from Pripyat town and from the 30-km exclusion zone.  相似文献

Preconditioned iterative methods of conjugate gradient type for solving elliptic and parabolic problems discretized on grids wth local refinement are considered. The sparsity pattern of the residuals computed throughout the iterative process is investigated. It turns out that they are nonzero only near the interface nodes between the coarse-and fine-grids. This observation is used to formulate the preconditioned CG, and when the matrix is not symmetric as in the parabolic case—the generalized CG and GMRES methods, thus substantially saving storage and computation.  相似文献

Results of a study of tube specimens cut from hot-water boilers show that film-forming octadecyl amine (ODA) used in the process of preservation removes deposition from the surface of the metal. An ODA film is preserved on the surface after repeated washing of the latter with hot water. A complex analysis of changes in the structure and in the phase composition arising as a result of both a prolonged operation of articles made of the alloy KhN65VMTYu (EI893) and after conducting imitation tests of model samples. The tests for long-term strength using samples cut out from the body of a large-dimension turbine blade which was exploited for 63 622 h showed that the blade preserved a significant residual reserve of service life (at 750°C and 250 MPa, the time to failure is 4243.5 h).  相似文献

1.  During nitriding of nickel alloys which contain Ti in the temperature interval from 1000–1200°C for 5–15 h, the conditions are created for the formation of only internal nitriding and the formation of a nitride zone does not occur. These are prerequisites for increased heat resistance.
2.  In nickel alloys containing a higher concentration of chromium, a zone of internal nitriding of large thickness occurs during the nitriding process. At the most intense levels of nitriding (t=1200°C and =15h) a through saturation of a 1.5-mm-thick sample of high chrome alloy 2 occurs.
3.  As a result of nitriding nickel alloys which contain additions of titanium, there is an increase in strength due to the formation of dispersed particles of titanium nitride within the matrix. These particles inhibit the high temperature plastic flow. Another factor which increases the heat resistance of these alloys is the solubility of nitrogen in the matrix which increases the recrystallization temperature, and consequently, the high temperature strength.
4.  In the alloy which contained the greater concentration of Cr, there is a more intense growth of the diffusion layer. On the other hand, the high concentration of Cr, the lower concentration of Ti, and the absence of Co are the reasons there is a lower increase in the heat resistance as a result of nitriding.

Regular physical activity in cyclic sports can influence the so-called “angiogenic switch”, which is considered as an imbalance between proangiogenic and anti-angiogenic molecules. Disruption of the synthesis of angiogenic molecules can be caused by local changes in tissues under the influence of excessive physical exertion and its consequences, such as chronic oxidative stress and associated hypoxia, metabolic acidosis, sports injuries, etc. A review of publications on signaling pathways that activate and inhibit angiogenesis in skeletal muscles, myocardium, lung, and nervous tissue under the influence of intense physical activity in cyclic sports. Materials: We searched PubMed, SCOPUS, Web of Science, Google Scholar, Clinical keys, and e-LIBRARY databases for full-text articles published from 2000 to 2020, using keywords and their combinations. Results: An important aspect of adaptation to training loads in cyclic sports is an increase in the number of capillaries in muscle fibers, which improves the metabolism of skeletal muscles and myocardium, as well as nervous and lung tissue. Recent studies have shown that myocardial endothelial cells not only respond to hemodynamic forces and paracrine signals from neighboring cells, but also take an active part in heart remodeling processes, stimulating the growth and contractility of cardiomyocytes or the production of extracellular matrix proteins in myofibroblasts. As myocardial vascularization plays a central role in the transition from adaptive heart hypertrophy to heart failure, further study of the signaling mechanisms involved in the regulation of angiogenesis in the myocardium is important in sports practice. The study of the “angiogenic switch” problem in the cerebrovascular and cardiovascular systems allows us to claim that the formation of new vessels is mediated by a complex interaction of all growth factors. Although the lungs are one of the limiting systems of the body in cyclic sports, their response to high-intensity loads and other environmental stresses is often overlooked. Airway epithelial cells are the predominant source of several growth factors throughout lung organogenesis and appear to be critical for normal alveolarization, rapid alveolar proliferation, and normal vascular development. There are many controversial questions about the role of growth factors in the physiology and pathology of the lungs. The presented review has demonstrated that when doing sports, it is necessary to give a careful consideration to the possible positive and negative effects of growth factors on muscles, myocardium, lung tissue, and brain. Primarily, the “angiogenic switch” is important in aerobic sports (long distance running). Conclusions: Angiogenesis is a physiological process of the formation of new blood capillaries, which play an important role in the functioning of skeletal muscles, myocardium, lung, and nervous tissue in athletes. Violation of the “angiogenic switch” as a balance between proangiogenic and anti-angiogenic molecules can lead to a decrease in the functional resources of the nervous, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems in athletes and, as a consequence, to a decrease in sports performance.  相似文献

New gold–molybdena catalysts supported on ceria and ceria–alumina in reaction of complete benzene oxidation were studied. The catalysts were characterized by means of XRD, TPR, XPS and Raman spectroscopy. High and stable catalytic activity was established in the temperature region 200–240 °C. The presence of gold causes a modification in ceria structure leading to an increase of Ce3+ and oxygen vacancies formation. The loading of Al3+ increases additionally the oxygen vacancies, while a tendency of decrease of Ce3+ amount was observed. The presence of alumina results also in a larger share of active oxygen species proved by analysis of O 1s XPS spectra. The differences in the activities within the starting temperature range (150–180 °C) and in the region of 100% conversion (200–240 °C) could be explained by supposing that in the LT region the electron transfer between nanosized gold and ceria particles via oxygen vacancies has a crucial role. In the HT region the oxygen mobility, provoked by the defective structure of ceria due to the presence of Al3+, becomes of prevailing importance. It was also concluded that alumina prevents the gold and ceria agglomeration, which is the main factor to avoid deactivation under extreme reaction conditions.  相似文献
