Confronted with decreasing margins and a rising customer demand for integrated solutions, manufacturing companies integrate complementary services into their portfolio. Offering value bundles (consisting of services and physical goods) takes place in integrated product–service systems, spanning the coordinated design and delivery of services and physical goods for customers. Conceptual Modeling is an established approach to support and guide such efforts. Using a framework for the design and delivery of value bundles as an analytical lens, this study evaluates the current support of reference models and modeling languages for setting up conceptual models for an integrated design and delivery of value bundles. Consecutively, designing modeling languages and reference models to fit the requirements of conceptual models in product–service systems are presented as upcoming challenges in Service Research. To guide further research, first steps are proposed by exemplarily integrating reference models and modeling languages stemming from the service and manufacturing domains.  相似文献

Recent developments in the area of decentralized and infrastructureless systems opened avenues for novel applications. Along with these new technologies, new questions regarding their operational bounds in terms of e.g. scalability and security arose. Due to the sparse presence of real-world decentralized and infrastructureless systems, new protocols and applications have to be scrutinized by means of simulation, in (small-scale) testbeds, and by analytical models. In this paper, we discuss challenges of evaluating security mechanisms for mobile ad hoc networks and peer-to-peer systems. We focus on harmonizing predictions of analytical models and results obtained from simulation studies and testbed experiments.  相似文献

We construct and analyze multigrid methods for discretized self-adjoint elliptic problems on triangular surfaces in ${\mathbb{R}^3}$ . The methods involve the same weights for restriction and prolongation as in the case of planar triangulations and therefore are easy to implement. We prove logarithmic bounds of the convergence rates with constants solely depending on the ellipticity, the smoothers and on the regularity of the triangles forming the triangular surface. Our theoretical results are illustrated by numerical computations.  相似文献

Myocarditis in response to COVID-19 vaccination has been reported since early 2021. In particular, young male individuals have been identified to exhibit an increased risk of myocardial inflammation following the administration of mRNA-based vaccines. Even though the first epidemiological analyses and numerous case reports investigated potential relationships, endomyocardial biopsy (EMB)-proven cases are limited. Here, we present a comprehensive histopathological analysis of EMBs from 15 patients with reduced ejection fraction (LVEF = 30 (14–39)%) and the clinical suspicion of myocarditis following vaccination with Comirnaty® (Pfizer-BioNTech) (n = 11), Vaxzevria® (AstraZenica) (n = 2) and Janssen® (Johnson & Johnson) (n = 2). Immunohistochemical EMB analyses reveal myocardial inflammation in 14 of 15 patients, with the histopathological diagnosis of active myocarditis according the Dallas criteria (n = 2), severe giant cell myocarditis (n = 2) and inflammatory cardiomyopathy (n = 10). Importantly, infectious causes have been excluded in all patients. The SARS-CoV-2 spike protein has been detected sparsely on cardiomyocytes of nine patients, and differential analysis of inflammatory markers such as CD4+ and CD8+ T cells suggests that the inflammatory response triggered by the vaccine may be of autoimmunological origin. Although a definitive causal relationship between COVID-19 vaccination and the occurrence of myocardial inflammation cannot be demonstrated in this study, data suggest a temporal connection. The expression of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein within the heart and the dominance of CD4+ lymphocytic infiltrates indicate an autoimmunological response to the vaccination.  相似文献

Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-expressing T-cells are without a doubt a breakthrough therapy for hematological malignancies. Despite their success, clinical experience has revealed several challenges, which include relapse after targeting single antigens such as CD19 in the case of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), and the occurrence of side effects that could be severe in some cases. Therefore, it became clear that improved safety approaches, and targeting multiple antigens, should be considered to further improve CAR T-cell therapy for B-ALL. In this paper, we address both issues by investigating the use of CD10 as a therapeutic target for B-ALL with our switchable UniCAR system. The UniCAR platform is a modular platform that depends on the presence of two elements to function. These include UniCAR T-cells and the target modules (TMs), which cross-link the T-cells to their respective targets on tumor cells. The TMs function as keys that control the switchability of UniCAR T-cells. Here, we demonstrate that UniCAR T-cells, armed with anti-CD10 TM, can efficiently kill B-ALL cell lines, as well as patient-derived B-ALL blasts, thereby highlighting the exciting possibility for using CD10 as an emerging therapeutic target for B-cell malignancies.  相似文献

Metal Chelates of Unsaturated 1,2-Dithioethers The dialkyl- and diaralkyldithioethers of ethylenebisthiol (edt) and xylenedithiol form cationic 1:2 chelates with the d8-metal ions AgI and CuI, which have been isolated and characterized. PdII- and PtII-halides yield neutral mixed ligand complexes of the type Me (L L) X2 (L L = dithioether, X = halogen). The dibenzyldithioether of edt is cleaved oxidatively by CuII and yields dibenzyldisulfide, CuI and an unidentified product.  相似文献

Within a very few years, InAs/GaSb superlattice technology has proven its suitability for high-performance infrared imaging detector arrays. At the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Solid State Physics (IAF) and AIM Infrarot-Module GmbH, efforts have been focused on developing mature fabrication technology for dual-color InAs/GaSb superlattice focal-plane arrays for simultaneous, colocated detection at 3 μm to 4 μm and 4 μm to 5 μm in the mid-wavelength infrared atmospheric transmission window. Integrated into a wide-field-of-view missile approach warning system for an airborne platform, a very low number of pixel outages and cluster defects is mandatory for bispectral detector arrays. Process refinements, intense root-cause analysis, and specific test methodologies employed at various stages during the process have proven to be the key for yield enhancements.  相似文献

The demand of the new telecom industry for cost efficient provision of mobile multimedia services is faced with the reality of scarce radio resources. The requirement of spectrum efficiency has driven the development of various digital radio technologies that have been optimized for specific services, namely for broadcast or for mobile communication. However, existing and emerging multimedia services exhibit challenging requirements in terms of asymmetry, interactivity, real-time, and multicast communication. This paper describes an IP based multi-radio infrastructure that enables the co-operation of existing radio networks to combine their capabilities to ensure a spectrum efficient provision of high-quality mobile multimedia services. Further the need for a dynamic allocation of spectrum to radio services is motivated. The basic functionality and the architecture of a multi-radio system is outlined, with a special emphasis on the cooperation between different radio systems. Further an evolution path for the convergence of broadcast and new telecom is desribed, starting from today's systems and leading to a fully coordinated system.  相似文献
