A monitor is proposed based on ultrasonic production when ionizing radiation passes through a medium. The recording element is a 0.2 mm aluminum plate mounted in a ceramic acoustic converter AC in the form of a wedge of thickness 2 mm. The low plate thickness minimizes the beam parameter distortion, while special technology used in the AC provides high sensitivity. The device has been calibrated in the proton beam from the ITEP accelerator at 200 MeV with 2·109–6·1010 particles in a pulse and a pulse length of 70 nsec. 相似文献

We present a study of magneto-thermal instabilities in polycrystalline MgB2 superconductor, by magnetic hysteresis loop measurements and by investigations of magnetic flux dynamics with a miniature Hall probe. Temperature and magnetic field ranges where the flux jumps may be observed have been determined. On the basis of measurements of the magnetic flux dynamics, an average magnetic diffusivity describing the process of the flux jump is estimated. This parameter is compared with the thermal and magnetic diffusivities calculated on the basis of available data for thermal conductivity, heat capacity and resistivity. It is shown that the estimated value of the field of the first flux jump is influenced significantly by the field dependence of specific heat. In order to explain the observed phenomenon, the temperature reached by the sample during the flux jump at different magnetic fields is calculated. 相似文献

We have studied silicon tetrachloride hydrogenation in an rf (40.68 MHz) plasma and have determined the trichlorosilane yield as a function of the molar energy input, H2: SiCl4 molar ratio, and pressure. Thermal field created by an irradiator with a slot capacitance studied on tissue-equivalent phantoms
Experiments were carried out on phantoms imitating muscular and fatty tissues which were exposed to a single action of microwave hyperthermia in microwave set "Volna-2" (460 MHz installation with a modified antenna. The temperature in the phantoms was measured by copper-constant thermocouples in periods of automatic switching off the microwave power.
