In an attempt to concentrate the content of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) in a glyceride mixture containing triglyceride, diglyceride
and monoglyceride, fish oil was hydrolyzed with six kinds of microbial lipase. After the hydrolysis, free fatty acid was removed
and fatty acid components of the glyceride mixtures were analyzed. When the hydrolysis withCandida cylindracea lipase was 70% complete, the DHA content in the glyceride mixture was three times more than that in the original fish oil.
The EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) content became almost 70% of the original fish oil. Hydrolysis with other lipases did not
result in an increase in the DHA content in the glyceride mixtures. Hydrolysis of DHA-rich tuna oil (DHA content is about
25%) withCandida cylindracea lipase resulted in 53% DHA in the glyceride mixture. The EPA content, however, remained close to that of the original tuna
oil. In this report, the acyl chain specificity of lipases is evaluated in terms of hydrolysis resistant value (HRV). HRV
is the ratio between the DHA contents in the glyceride mixture of hydrolyzed oil and original oil. HRV clearly indicates differences

α,β,β-Trifluoroethylenesulfonyl fluoride (TFESF) was grafted onto polyethylene (PE) film by a simultaneous-irradiation method. The influences of the grafting conditions were analyzed kinetically. The dependencies of the grafting rate on the dose rates and monomer concentrations ranging from 10 to 75% were found to be of 1 and 0 order, respectively. The overall activation energy for the graft polymerization was 2.05 × 104 J/mol. The grafting rate was found to be independent of the film thicknesses ranging from 25 to 100 μm. 相似文献

Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations of large argon clusters impacting on silicon solid targets were performed in order to study the transient process of crater formation and sputtering. The MD simulations demonstrate that the initial momentum of incident cluster is transferred to target surface atoms through multiple collision mechanism, where the initial momentum, which is along to the surface normal before impact, is deflected to lateral direction. This momentum transfer process was analyzed by the calculation of the velocity at the crater edge (the interface between cluster and target). In the case of Ar1000 cluster impact on Si(1 0 0) target at low energy per atom less than 40 eV/atom, the maximum value of lateral velocity of the crater edge increases in proportional to the velocity of incident cluster atoms. On the other hand, the crater edge velocity saturates over 40 eV/atom of incident energy per atom. In this case, the whole of constituent cluster atoms are implanted into the target and expand in both lateral and reflective directions at the subsurface region of the target. These MD simulations demonstrated that this collisional process result in the high yield sputtering of the target atoms. 相似文献

The crystal structure of the complex between oligonucleotide containing the bacterial ribosomal decoding site (A site) and the synthetic paromomycin analogue 1, which contains the gamma-amino-alpha-hydroxybutyryl (L-haba) group at position N1 of ring II (2-DOS ring), and an ether chain with an O-phenethylaminoethyl group at position C2' of ring III, is reported. Interestingly, next to the paromomycin analogue 1 specifically bound to the A site, a second molecule of 1 with a different conformation is observed at the crystal packing interface which mimics the A-minor interaction between two bulged-out adenines from the A site and the codon-anticodon stem of the mRNA-tRNA complex. Improved antibacterial activity supports the conclusion that analogue 1 might affect protein synthesis on the ribosome in two different ways: 1) specific binding to the A site forces maintenance of the "on" state with two bulged out adenines, and 2) a new binding mode of 1 to an A-minor motif which stabilizes complex formation between the ribosome and the mRNA-tRNA complex regardless of whether the codon-anticodon stem is of the cognate or near-cognate type. 相似文献

We examine optically induced birefringence in semicrystalline azopolymer films that are held at glass-transition temperature Tg. The birefringence increases markedly after interception of the pump beam; the saturation value depends on exposure time. In addition, the induced birefringence is completely erased by irradiation with a circularly polarized beam at Tg. Using this thermally assisted method, we demonstrate the holographic recording of a test image. The intensity of the diffracted beam also increases after interception of the writing beams. Furthermore, the retrieved image is found to have a resolution of approximately 30 lp/mm. This resolution is comparable with that of the optical setup that is used. Accordingly, the thermally assisted recording by use of semicrystalline azopolymers is a promising method for reversible holographic storage. 相似文献

This paper considers a standby-redundant system consisting of 2 systems, in which one is main and the other is its standby-redundant system. These systems also consist of 2 subsystems connected in series, in which each one is composed of several identical units connected in parallel.A feature of this system is that the system has 2 switching devices connecting subsystems, in addition to one connecting main and standby systems, in order to utilize surviving units as many as possible. Soil salinity is a global environmental problem and the most widespread land degradation problem that reduces crop yields and agricultural productivity. The characteristic of soil salinity is conventionally measured by the electric conductivity (EC) of soil while remote-sensing techniques have been extensively applied to detect the presence of salts indirectly through the vegetation using crop spectral reflectance. This study aims primarily to investigate whether salt stress the rice can be detected by field reflectance or not, and second, to search the significant bands of vegetation indices that can indicate the relationships between the EC of soil and field hyperspectral reflectance of canopy, grain, and leaf of rice, using the normalized difference spectral index (NDSI). Field investigations on various paddy fields in northeastern Thailand were carried out in late November 2010 during the ripening season just before harvest in an attempt to realize the applications of the field hyperspectral technique for monitoring the spread of saline soils and estimation of the effects of soil salinity on rice plants. Jasmine rice and glutinous rice were two different rice species selected for this study. Rice plant investigations were conducted by collecting data on crop length, panicle length, canopy openness, leaf area index, and digital photographs of plant conditions from each site. The statistical analysis revealed that the changes in soil EC were significantly sensitive to the ripening stages of both jasmine rice and glutinous rice planted on different levels of soil salinity. Among reflectance measurements, canopy reflectance was highly correlated with soil EC. However, the estimated accuracies of the relationship between soil EC and reflectance of glutinous rice were relatively lower than those of jasmine rice. 相似文献

Plasma polymerizations of three kinds of amines, γ-aminopropylethoxydimethylsilane (APEMS), allylamine (AA), and pyrole (PY), were investigated by IR and XPS analysis. Plasma-polymerized films were deposited on porous substrates, and ion exchange abilities of the composite membranes were measured. When APEMS were used as the monomer, the polymer retained the chemical structure of the monomer, amino groups. However, when AA and PY were used as the monomers, the plasma polymers contained a larger amount of amido structures than did the polymer of APEMS. Each membrane had ion exchange ability. In particular, the membrane prepared from APEMS showed superior ion exchange ability, anion permselectivity and conductivity, in acidic solutions. This property was attributed to the chemical structure of the polymer from APEMS retenting amino groups. The ion exchange properties of the membranes depended on the pH of the solution. In particular, the membrane of APEMS showed high membrane potential and low electric resistance only in a narrow pH region due to the weak basicity of amines and the hydrophobic property of the polymer. 相似文献

A membrane, which has positively charged groups in the polymer main chain, was prepared from polyethylenimine by crosslinking and successive alkylation. Dibromoalkane was used as a crosslinking agent. The crosslinked membrane was alkylated using methyl iodide under several conditions. Elemental and ICP emission analyses were introduced to measure the rates of alkylation and quaternization. From the membrane potential measurement, the effective charge density was estimated. The highest value was about 1.0 M, which was obtained by a prolonged alkylation time. This value was larger than that of some commercial ion exchange membranes. The effective charge density, which was obtained by the last alkylation procedure, was 10 times larger than that of the former one, though the rate of quaternizing increased by less than a factor of two.
