Gum arabic is a natural gum exuded mainly by the trees Acacia senegal , currently used in the food industries for its emulsifying, thickening and stabilizing properties. Its present processing includes various operations providing a quite turbid product. Crossflow microfiltration could be interesting for the clarification and the cold-pasteurization of the gum arabic solutions. Several experiments were therefore made with the crossflow microfiltration unit at ENSIA, using two different systems: the classical one (without permeate circulation), and the co-current permeate flow system (CCPF) allowing the exploration of the low transmembrane pressures range. With gum arabic solutions of 0.17g solids g−1 solution and 70°C, the best results after 60 min of filtration (105.7 L h−1 m−2 , 4.4% of solids retention and 83.4% of clarification) were obtained with the CCPF system at low transmembrane pressure and high crossflow velocity (0.3 bar and 7.5ms−1 ). 相似文献

Electron Spin Resonance, Differential Scanning Calorimetry and rheological techniques have been used to study the physical
changes induced by temperature in lard and in the solid and liquid fractions obtained by fractionation of lard at 15 C. The
mobilization process of a C18 fatty acid nitroxide derivative dispersed in the molten fat has been observed in the temperature
range −50 to +70 C.
The mobilization of the probe seemed to be concomitant with the melting of the low melting point glycerides. Above this temperature,
all the probes were in the liquid phase and their mobility reflected the viscosity of their liquid environment, or the viscosity
of the bulk fat when crystal was no longer present.
Probe mobility was temperature dependent, and it was identical for the three fats at the same temperature, despite their different

When searching for information about historical events, queries are naturally formulated using temporal constraints. However,
the structured temporal information needed to support such constraints is usually not available to information retrieval systems.
Furthermore, the temporal boundaries of most historical events are inherently ill-defined, calling for suitable extensions
of classical temporal reasoning frameworks. In this paper, we propose a framework based on a fuzzification of Allen’s Interval
Algebra to cope with these issues. By using simple heuristic techniques to extract temporal information from web documents,
we initially focus more on recall than on precision, relying on the subsequent application of a fuzzy temporal reasoner to
improve the reliability of the extracted information, and to deal with conflicts that arise because of the vagueness of events.
Experimental results indicate that a consistent and reliable knowledge base of fuzzy temporal relations can thus be obtained,
which effectively allows us to target temporally constrained retrieval tasks. 相似文献

Abstract: Just like rough set theory, fuzzy set theory addresses the topic of dealing with imperfect knowledge. Recent investigations have shown how both theories can be combined into a more flexible, more expressive framework for modelling and processing incomplete information in information systems. At the same time, intuitionistic fuzzy sets have been proposed as an attractive extension of fuzzy sets, enriching the latter with extra features to represent uncertainty (on top of vagueness). Unfortunately, the various tentative definitions of the concept of an ‘intuitionistic fuzzy rough set’ that were raised in their wake are a far cry from the original objectives of rough set theory. We intend to fill an obvious gap by introducing a new definition of intuitionistic fuzzy rough sets, as the most natural generalization of Pawlak's original concept of rough sets. 相似文献

The stability of evaporating very thin films of a polar liquid is investigated. The microscopic interaction with the substrate
and capillarity are taken into account in a lubrication equation. The stability of a flat interface is studied when evaporation
is limited by the diffusion of the vapour in the gas phase. The evaporation rate is computed and evaporation is shown to be
stabilizing. A stability phase diagram is obtained. A weakly nonlinear analysis leads to a film-thickness amplitude equation

The integration of nanotechnology into three‐dimensional printing (3DP) offers huge potential and opportunities for the manufacturing of 3D engineered materials exhibiting optimized properties and multifunctionality. The literature relating to different 3DP techniques used to fabricate 3D structures at the macro‐ and microscale made of nanocomposite materials is reviewed here. The current state‐of‐the‐art fabrication methods, their main characteristics (e.g., resolutions, advantages, limitations), the process parameters, and materials requirements are discussed. A comprehensive review is carried out on the use of metal‐ and carbon‐based nanomaterials incorporated into polymers or hydrogels for the manufacturing of 3D structures, mostly at the microscale, using different 3D‐printing techniques. Several methods, including but not limited to micro‐stereolithography, extrusion‐based direct‐write technologies, inkjet‐printing techniques, and popular powder‐bed technology, are discussed. Various examples of 3D nanocomposite macro‐ and microstructures manufactured using different 3D‐printing technologies for a wide range of domains such as microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), lab‐on‐a‐chip, microfluidics, engineered materials and composites, microelectronics, tissue engineering, and biosystems are reviewed. Environmentally sustainable construction is now recognised as a significant element of the broader sustainable development agenda and planners are being called upon to play a role in delivering more sustainable patterns of construction and development. This puts particular demands on the knowledge resources of planners since knowledge is implicated in the power relations between planners and developers. This paper examines the interrelationship between knowledge of environmentally sustainable construction and practice in planning departments. Drawing on a survey of and interviews with planners in London, it discusses the construction of knowledge within the dynamics of planning organisations and the potential for learning to promote a more sustainable built environment. Wenger's concept of communities of practice frames the analysis, alongside consideration of the translation of knowledge into bureaucratic and usable forms and the role of knowledge brokers in this process. 相似文献
