We examine the issues that arise in the definition, deployment, and management of policies related to QoS in an IP network. The article provides an overview of requirements for QoS policies, alternative policy architectures that can be deployed in a network, different protocols that can be used to exchange policy information, and exchange of policy information among different administrative domains. We discuss current issues being examined in IETF and other standards bodies, as well as issues explored in ongoing policy-related research at different universities and research laboratories  相似文献

A code is s-quasi-cyclic (s-QC) if there is an integer s such that cyclic shift of a codeword by s-positions is also a codeword. For s = 1, cyclic codes are obtained. A dyadic code is a code which is closed under all dyadic shifts. An s-QC dyadic (s-QCD) code is one which is both s-QC and dyadic. QCD codes with s = 1 give codes that are cyclic and dyadic (CD). We obtain a simple characterization of all QCD codes (hence of CD codes) over any field of odd characteristic using Walsh-Hadamard transform defined over that finite field. Also, it is shown that dual a code of an s-QCD code is also an s-QCD code and s-QCD codes for a given dimension are enumerated for all possible values of s.  相似文献

Recently, Blackford and Ray-Chaudhuri used transform domain techniques to permutation groups of cyclic codes over Galois rings. They used the same technique to find a set of necessary and sufficient conditions for extended cyclic codes of length 2/sup m/ over any subring of GR(4,m) to be affine invariant. Here, we use the same technique to find a set of necessary and sufficient conditions for extended cyclic codes of length p/sup m/ over any subring of GR(p/sup e/,m) to be affine invariant, for e=2 with arbitrary p and for p=2 with arbitrary e. These are used to find two new classes of affine invariant Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem (BCH) and generalized Reed-Muller (GRM) codes over Z/sub 2//sup e/ for arbitrary e and a class of affine invariant BCH codes over Z/sub p//sup 2/ for arbitrary prime p.  相似文献

The present study was evaluated using the following in vitro antioxidant methods: 2,2′-azinobis (3-ethyl-benzothiozoline)-6-sulfonic acid disodium salt, phosphomolybdenum, ferric reducing antioxidant power, metal ion chelating activity, super oxide anion radical scavenging, hydrogen peroxide, and hydroxyl radical. Among these assays, acetone extract showed maximum free radical scavenging activity in 2,2′-azinobis (3-ethyl-benzothiozoline)-6-sulfonic acid disodium salt, phosphomolybdenum, metal ion chelating, superoxide anion, hydrogen peroxide, and hydroxyl radical assays. Moreover, the physiochemical, nutritional, and anti-nutritional parameters were analyzed. Its qualitative and quantitative composition was studied by gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy and out of 27 peaks, 27 compounds were identified. These compounds have the property of antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory activity.  相似文献

Summary NMR spectra of high molecular weight polyesters such as polyglycolide (PG) and poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) have not been available because of low solubility in suitable NMR solvents. Although PG is not soluble enough at ambient temperatures for NMR spectra in either chloroform-d or trifluoroacetic acid-d alone, it dissolves readily to over 0.9% in a mixture of the two. At this concentration, 1H and 13C spectra can be obtained on samples where end group signals are visible from which molecular weights can readily be determined. The solutions are stable up to at least four days when moisture is excluded. NMR spectra of PET can likewise be obtained at ambient temperatures in the solvent mixture which dissolves up to at least 0.6% of PET.  相似文献

Four greenhouse experiments were conducted using three soils to determine the availability to plants of P from unground North Carolina phosphate rock (PR) treated with 20% to 50% of the H3PO4 required for complete acidulation. The influences of soil P retention, P status, the method of preparation of partially acidulated phosphate rocks (PAPRs) and the granule size of the products were investigated. Perennial ryegrass was grown as the test plant for up to 8 months. Triple superphosphate (TSP) was used as the standard fertilizer and unground North Carolina rock was included for comparison.The dry matter yield and P uptake response curves showed that in all experiments PAPRs were markedly superior to the PR. P status of soils appeared to influence the effectiveness of PAPRs to a greater extent than P retention. In soils of low P status the degree of acidulation required for PAPR to be nearly or as effective as TSP was 50% whereas in a soil of high P status even 30% PAPR applied as a maintenance fertilizer was effective. There was a significant positive correlation between water soluble P of fertilizers and P uptake by ryegrass. However, in general PAPRs were more effective per unit of water soluble P than TSP. Granule size (< 1 mm and 1–2 mm) and method of preparation of PAPRs did not alter the effectiveness of PAPRs.  相似文献

Three series of novel polyurethane elastomers containing phenolphthalein as chain extenders were synthesized. The structure of the polyurethane was analyzed using IR and wide-angle X-ray diffraction studies. Tensile strength and percentage of elongation of all the series of polymers were studied.
