The thermal conductivity of a SiC ceramic was measured as 270 W·m−1 ·K−1 at room temperature. At low temperatures ( T < 25 K), the decrease in the conductivity was proportional to T 3 on a logarithmic scale, which indicated that the conductivity was controlled by boundaries. The calculated phonon mean free path in the ceramic increased with decreased temperature, but was limited to ∼4 μm, a length almost equal to the grain size, at temperatures below 30 K. We concluded that the thermal conductivity of the ceramic below 30 K was influenced significantly by grain boundaries and grain junctions. 相似文献

The diffusion and adsorption of C.I. Direct Yellow 12 and Blue 15 in water-swollen ordinary cellophane sheets were examined at various ionic strengths. The concentration dependence of apparent diffusion coefficients, Dc, for these dyes was obtained from the diffusion profiles in the substrate, which were measured by the use of the cylindrical film roll method. The decrease of apparent porosity with an increase in the amounts of adsorption was observed. To explain the diffusion/adsorption behaviors of these systems, a variable porosity model was proposed and was applied to analyze the concentration dependence of Dc's. The diffusion/adsorption behaviors of these dyes could be quantitatively described by this model at relatively low ionic strengths. At higher ionic strengths and/or lower values of C, i.e., at the large values of Cim/Cm, where the C's are the concentrations of immobilized (suffix im) and mobile (suffix m) species, it needed to introduce the concept of dynamic equilibria which occurred simultaneously with diffusion but deviated from the true equiliblia measured by the adsorption experiments. 相似文献

Thermal behaviors of a few kinds of poly(fluoroalkyl methacrylate) prepared by γ-or UV-ray polymerization were investigated by using thermogravimetric measurements with the intermittent analysis of the gaseous products. The degradation of fluoroalkyl methacrylate polymers, monomeric units of which were CH2=C(CH3)COOCH2(CF2CF2)nH, n = 1, 2, and 3, proceeded according to the depolymerization mechanism reproducing the pristine monomer exclusively, but the thermogram in inert atmosphere showed the features of a two-step reaction. Two species of polymer differing in the heat stability were supposed to exist in the polymeric substance produced by γ- or UV-ray irradiation, and the fraction of polymer having lower heat stability increased with the increasing length of the fluoroalkyl ester group. In air, however, the thermogram of poly(fluoroalkyl methacrylate) showed no such a stepwise weight decrease as was observed in inert atomsphere with the elevating temperature, and the temperatures at which the depolymerization was introduced shifted to a much higher region. The results were ascribed to the reaction of initiating polymer radicals produced on polymer having lower stability with oxygen to form hydroperoxide, which once stabilized the polymer radicals and obstructed the initiaition of the unzipping reaction till higher temperature. 相似文献

The thermal degradation of copolymers composed of one of fluoroalkyl methacrylates of the following structures: CH2?C(CH3)COOCH2(CF2CF2)nH, where n = 1,2, and 3, and methyl methacrylate proceeded according to the depolymerization mechanism reproducing the pristine component comonomers exclusively, but their thermograms in inert atmosphere showed the feature of a two-step reaction. In air, however, thermograms of copolymers did not show such a stepwise decrease in weight with the elevating temperature, and temperatures at which depolymerization was introduced shifted to a much higher region. The overall aspects of depolymerization of copolymers seemed to be much similar to that of fluoroalkyl methacrylate homopolymer previously reported, and the retardation of depolymerization by air was considered to be due mainly to the stabilization of once-formed polymer radicals by oxygen. 相似文献

Using the pH-jump (neutral to above 11) for Tyr-OH ionization as a probe, two glucoamylases from Rhizopus niveus and Rhizopus delemar were found to be caused the change in conformation, which is in a kinetically single step. The pH titration at pHs below 12 was carried out on a multidimensional correlation spectrophotometer. Correlations among the spectrophotometric properties: fluorescence, absorption and circular dichroism are almost identical for the two enzymes. Based on the subsite structure of an α-amylase from Bacillus subtilis, production of glucose from a substrate maltohexaose in the amylase-catalyzed reaction was theoretically predicted as a function of time. The theoretical time course was found consistent with the experimental results, which were obtained by the determination of a product glucose with a commercial assay-kit. Hence, glucose, product from a substrate maltohexaose, will be a useful probe for the amylase-catalyzed reaction. 相似文献

In silico comparison of 34 putative pks genes in Aspergillus niger strain CBS 513.88 versus A. niger strain ATCC 1015 genome revealed significant nucleotide identity (>95% covering a minimum of 99% of the gene sequence) for 31 of these genes (approximately 91%). A. niger CBS 513.88 harbors three putative pks genes (An01g01130, An11g05940, and An15g07920), for which nucleotide identity was not found in A. niger ATCC 1015. To compare the results of the in silico analysis with the in vivo situation, experimental data were obtained for a large number of A. niger strains obtained from different substrates and geographical regions. Three putative pks genes that were found to be variable between the two A. niger strains using bioinformatics tools were in fact strain-specific genes based on experimental data. The PCR amplification signals for the An01g01130, An11g05940, and An15g07920 pks genes were detected in only 97%, 71%, and 26% of the strains, respectively. Southern blot analyses confirmed the PCR data. Because one of the strain-specific pks genes (An15g07920) is located in a putative ochratoxin cluster, we focused our investigation on that region. We assessed the ochratoxin production capability of the 119 A. niger strains and found a positive association between the presence of this pks gene and the capability of the respective strain to produce ochratoxin. 相似文献

Based on fungal and fumonisin contamination of 870 freshly harvested samples, the quality of corn used by processing industries in the Northern region of Paraná State, Brazil (2003 and 2004 crop-year) was evaluated. Sampling was carried out for each crop at two points in the production chain, i.e. at reception by the processors and at the pre-drying step. Corn samples were more frequently contaminated with Fusarium sp. (100%) and Penicillium sp. (84.1–95.3%) than Aspergillus sp. (5.6–19.8%). Fumonisin B1 (FB1) was detected in all samples from the two points in both crop-years. FB1 levels ranged 0.02–11.83 µg g?1 in the reception and 0.02–10.98 µg g?1 in the pre-drying samples of the 2003 crop. Samples from the 2004 crop showed FB1 levels ranging 0.03–12.04 µg g?1 in the reception and 0.06–7.74 µg g?1 in the pre-drying samples. FB2 levels ranged 0.02–5.25 µg g?1 in the reception and 0.01–7.89 µg g?1 in the pre-drying samples (2003 crop-year). In samples from the 2004 crop, FB2 levels ranged 0.02–6.12 µg g?1 in the reception and 0.05–3.47 µg g?1 in the pre-drying samples. Low fumonisin levels were detected in most corn samples used by processors in the Northern region of Paraná State, showing a decreasing trend in fumonisin contamination over the years. 相似文献
