This paper deals with an advanced static Var compensator (ASVC) using quad-series voltage-source PAM inverters. The ASVC consists of four three-phase voltage-source inverters with a common dc capacitor and four three-phase transformers, each primary winding of which is connected in series with each other. Each inverter outputs a square-wave voltage, while the synthesized output voltage of the ASVC has a 24-step wave shape. This results not only in a great reduction of harmonic currents and dc voltage ripples but also in fewer switching and snubbing losses. In this paper, transient analysis is performed with the focus on the response of reactive power and the resonance between the dc capacitor and ac reactors. Experimental results obtained from a small-rated laboratory model of 10 kVA are also shown to verify analytical results based on the p-q transformation. The analytical results help in the design of system parameters such as the capacity of the dc capacitor and feedback gains.  相似文献

A second-generation model of cubicletype gas-insulated switchgear (C-GIS) with composite insulation incorporating SF6 gas has been developed. The design does not require a gas process in field assembly; it has high reliability and its installation is more rapid; and a further reduction in size is achieved. CO2 decomposition reaction into carbon was studied at 300 °C using the H2-reduced Zn(II)-bearing ferrite which consisted of the Zn(II) oxide and the active wüstite. The H2-reduced Zn(II)-bearing ferrite was prepared from Zn(II)-bearing ferrite by the reduction with H2 gas at 300 °C. The wüstite (FeO) in the H2-reduced Zn(II)-bearing ferrite had a higher value (=0.97, active wüstite) than those of the normal wüstites (0.90<<0.95) prepared at high temperatures (>570 °C). The decomposition reaction of CO2 proceeds in two steps: (1) CO2 reduction to CO, and (2) CO decomposition into carbon. In the initial stage, the reduction of CO2 into CO takes place, accompanying both the oxidation of the active wüstite to the slightly oxidized wüstite, and the transformation of active wüstite and Zn(II) oxide into the Zn(II)-bearing ferrite. After the reaction of the initial stage attains equilibrium of an apparent state of rest, the adsorbed CO is decomposed into carbon, associated with the transformation of the slightly oxidized wüstite and the Zn(II) oxide into the Zn(II)-bearing ferrite.  相似文献

We have studied absorption saturation characteristics in short-period GaAs/AlAs superlattice self-electro-optic effect devices based on Wannier-Stark localization. The disappearance of negative differential resistances due to absorption saturation was observed under high optical excitation intensities. To understand the mechanism, we measured the time-resolved photocurrent and time-resolved photoluminescence. Results revealed that the absorption saturation is caused by electric field screening originating from the space-charge of remaining holes due to effective mass filtering.  相似文献

This paper proposes a novel analytical method for use in symmetric self-electrooptic effect device (S-SEED) systems, called the potential function method, based on a global stability analysis of differential equations for photocurrent in S-SEED circuits. The method provides intuitive views for analyzing the stability of the system, and is useful for tracking the temporal dynamics of S-SEED nonlinear electrical circuits. This paper also describes electro-absorption characteristics of SEED's, especially those based on Wannier Stark localization (WSL). In this type of SEED, the photocurrent versus reverse bias voltage characteristics has multiple peaks and multiple negative differential resistance regions, resulting from Stark ladder transitions due to thin barrier superlattices. Various types of stabilities, including the metastable state, as well as the temporal switching dynamics of WSL-S-SEEDs, can be explained clearly by using this potential function method  相似文献

Catalytic oxidation of biphenyl derivatives was investigated using laccase in a homogeneous aqueous-organic system. A thermostable laccase from Trametes sp. showed the highest catalytic activity for the oxidation of 4-hydroxybiphenyl (4-HB) at a reaction temperature of 60 degrees C when dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) was employed as a co-solvent. Furthermore, the catalytic performance was successfully enhanced by the incorporation of a laccase mediator system (LMS) into the aqueous-DMSO media. The catalytic performance strongly depended on the type of mediator, and the highest activity was observed with 2,2'-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) as mediator, suggesting the importance of the selection of a suitable mediator. It was verified that this mediator system is applicable to the oxidation of several biphenyl derivatives with hydroxyl groups.  相似文献

An on-line recognition method for hand-written characters utilizing stroke vector sequences and a positional vector sequence has been developed. The number of target characters is about 2000, and fairly good recognition scores have been attained. Our scheme uses the number of strokes as the primary parameter. We employ three types of recognition strategy depending on the number of strokes. The general stroke vector sequence method, devised to analyze the shape, can represent both skeleton and local characteristics by a small amount of information; and the restricted dynamic programming method is effective to determine the shape of a stroke. The similarity of two shapes and the complexity of a stroke have been introduced to reduce the dictionary size and the processing time, respectively.  相似文献

The voltage variation in a remote system is large when the system is connected by long‐distance AC cables due to the cable capacitance. In Japan, the longest 54‐km 66‐kV AC submarine cable interconnection between the Kyushu mainland and Goto Islands was commissioned in 2005. It was requested to mitigate the voltage variation caused by switching off and on one circuit of the two circuits in the AC cables when a fault occurs. Since the conventional voltage control methods such as transformer tap changer or shunt capacitor and reactor banks are not sufficient because of their slow response time, a static var compensator (SVC) was installed on the Goto Islands. In such an application, an SVC control method should be developed so as not to override the existing voltage control systems. This paper describes the SVC control method developed for the Goto Islands AC interconnection project, which can be applied to similar situations. The effectiveness of the control method was verified by the results of effective value simulation and of field testing, which was implemented before the SVC was commissioned in 2007. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. It has been reported that elongated Au nanoparticles oriented parallel to one another can be synthesized in SiO2 by ion irradiation. Our aim was to elucidate the mechanism of this elongation. We prepared Au and Ag nanoparticles with a diameter of 20 nm in an SiO2 matrix. It was found that Au nanoparticles showed greater elongated with a higher flux of ion beam and with thicker SiO2 films. In contrast, Ag nanoparticles split into two or more shorter nanorods aligned end to end in the direction parallel to the ion beam. These experimental results are discussed in the framework of a thermal spike model of Au and Ag nanorods embedded in SiO2. The lattice temperature exceeds the melting temperatures of SiO2, Au and Ag for 100 ns after one 110 MeV Br10+ ion has passed through the middle of an Au or Ag nanorod.  相似文献

During our systematic studies on the arginine vasopressin receptor V1a-antagonistic activity of 1-(1-benzoyl substituted 4-piperidyl)-3,4-dihydro-2(1H)-quinolinones, we found a general substituent effect on the benzene ring. Hydrogen-bonding ability at the ortho position was especially important for enhancement of the affinity of multi-substituted analogs. Details of the syntheses and structure-activity relationships for this series are presented.  相似文献
