In the fiber Bragg grating sensing using a superluminescent diode as the light source and an arrayed waveguide grating as the wavelength interrogator, the wavelength measurement error due to the spectral modulation of the superluminescent diode is theoretically formulated and quantitatively analyzed by computer simulation. It is shown that the wavelength measurement errors produced with the use of real superluminescent diodes are in very good agreement with the theoretical results. In order to reduce the wavelength measurement error due to the spectral modulation of superluminescent diode, two different types of remedies are proposed that utilize the temperature switching of superluminescent diode and that adjust the bandwidths of fiber Bragg grating and arrayed waveguide grating, and their efficacies are experimentally demonstrated together with good quantitative agreement with the theoretical calculation.  相似文献

We have investigated the current pulse width dependence on current-driven magnetization reversal in double-barrier structures using GaMnAs-based magnetic tunneling junctions (MTJ) in order to clarify the origin of low threshold current density for current-driven magnetization reversal. Comparing with the case of single-barrier MTJ, the pulse-width dependence reveals that threshold current density is reduced by double-barrier MTJ. We confirmed that the threshold current density in the order of 104 A/cm2 is estimated considering the effect of current pulse width.  相似文献

Foliar application of cytozyme to 30-day-old black-gram plants resulted 48% increase of dry matter accumulation. The increase in fresh and dry weights of total plants was largely due to enhanced CO2 assimilation rates which were associated with increased RuBP carboxylase activities. The photochemical characteristics in the isolated chloroplasts exhibited an increase of 32, 28 and 40%, measured as the photoreduction of DCPIP, FeCN and NADP, respectively. Cytozyme treatment also resulted an increase in the chlorophyll content in leaves.  相似文献

To objectively evaluate the parenchymal echo pattern of cirrhotic liver and chronic hepatitis, the authors applied an image analyzing system (IAS) using a neural network. Autopsy specimens in a water tank (n=13) were used to examine the relationship between the diameter of the regenerative nodule and the coarse score (CS) calculated by IAS. CS was significantly correlated with the diameter of the regenerative nodule (p<0.0001, r=0.966). CS is considered to be useful for evaluating the coarseness of the parenchymal echo pattern  相似文献

The absorption spectrum of poly(3-alkylthiophene) gel changes drastically in association with a volume instability upon changing the solvent composition and also the temperature. In the expanded state in chloroform and at high temperature, the photoluminescence is much enhanced compared with the shrunken state in ethanol and at low temperature. This gel chromism and anomalous luminescence are discussed in terms of the change of effective conjugation length induced by the steric hindrance and the dynamics of the photoexcited species.  相似文献

STM tunneling spectroscopy has been performed on the bulk single crystals of BiSrCaCuO (BSCCO) and the epitaxial thin films of YBaCuO (YBCO) at cryogenic temperatures. The STM images and tunneling spectra observed on the (001) surfaces can be classified into three cases; 1) Atomic image is visible. However, the tunneling spectrum shows semiconducting or smeared superconducting gap structures, depending on the tip-sample distance. 2) Clear atomic image can not be obtained. But, the tunneling spectrum shows flat bottom region with quite low zero bias conductance. 3) Tunneling spectra demonstrate gapless behavior, independent of the tip-sample separation. These observations support the quasi-2D electronic picture in whichs-wave like 2D superconducting layers are coupled with each other through the Josephson effect.  相似文献

We performed combined vitrectomy, lens removal and posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation for proliferative diabetic retinopathy in 120 eyes of 101 patients. Follow-up periods ranged from 3 to 63 months, with a mean of 17 months. Three lens removal methods were used: extracapsular cataract extraction (14 eyes), phacoemulsification and aspiration (49 eyes), and pars plana phacoemulsification (57 eyes). Preoperative rubeosis iridis or neovascular glaucoma was found in 21 eyes. Gas or temporary silicone oil tamponade was employed in 32 eyes. Surgical results were good, and the postoperative vision was finger counts or below only in 13 eyes. Thus the combined surgery proved to have no serious problems. Our results indicate two important points. (1) It is best to chose either of the following two methods for the lens surgery: phacoemulsification with continuous circular capsulorhexis, self sealing sclerocorneal incision, and in-the-bag fixation of the posterior chamber lens, or pars plana phacoemulsification leaving the anterior capsule, rub off and aspirating the lens epithelial cells, continuous circular capsulorhexis, and posterior chamber lens implantation in front of the anterior capsule from a self-sealing sclerocorneal wound. (2) It is mandatory to do complete vitrectomy and cut out the vitreous gels incarcerated in the sclerotomy site.  相似文献

Preparation of BaLa2O4, Ba3,Y4O9, Ba,In2O5, and Ba3Ga2O6 powders and their sintering were investigated in Ar or air. These sintered bodies with perovskite-related structure were synthesized by reaction sintering, using mixed powders in the atomic ratios of Ba/La = 1, Ba/Y = 0.75, Ba/In = 1, and Ba/Ga = 1.5. The order-disorder transition temperatures of the BaLa2O4, Ba3Y4O9, Ba2In2O5, and Ba3Ga2O6 sintered bodies were 270°, 350°, 880°, and 123OoC, respectively. It was found that the temperatures were influenced by the ionic radius of cations in B sites, and the transition temperatures decreased with increasing ionic radius.  相似文献

A new TTP donor, Me-DH-TTP (2-methyl-5-(1,3-dithiolan-2-yliden)-1,3,4,6-tetrathiapentalene), was designed to realize a system with large on-site Coulomb repulsion as compared with the previously known bis-fused type TTP donors. Probably as a consequence, (Me-DH-TTP)2AsF6 exhibits semiconducting behavior from room temperature to liquid helium temperature. By increasing pressure, metallic behavior appears below 300 K, and with distinct metal-insulator (M-I) transition up to 2.2 GPa. This M-I transition suddenly disappears beyond 2.5 GPa, and metallic state is stabilized down to 2.6 K. We discuss the possibility of quantum critical point around 2.4 GPa.  相似文献

New data of the electronic properties of liquid helium and liquid neon are discussed with respect to their relevance for the initiation of electric breakdown. It is concluded that under ideal conditions the cathode plays a decisive role in the initiation of the breakdown process. It is speculated that a Townsend type breakdown mechanism is absent in the liquid phase of these elements.  相似文献
