In this paper, a feed-forward nonlinear active noise control algorithm is developed using the Filtered-S LMS (FSLMS) algorithm and virtual microphone control for an active headrest application. Virtual microphone control is implemented to attenuate noise at the ears of the headrest occupant using the physical microphones placed at remote locations. The proposed nonlinear virtual microphone control algorithm is verified in real-time in a headrest. Different nonlinear noise processes are studied and it is shown that in all cases, the FSLMS algorithm outperforms the FXLMS algorithm in controlling nonlinear primary noise at a virtual location.  相似文献

Image and video processing techniques are being frequently used in medical science applications. Computer vision-based systems have successfully replaced various manual medical processes such as analyzing physical and biomechanical parameters, physical examination of patients. These systems are gaining popularity because of their robustness and the objectivity they bring to various medical procedures. Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examinations (HINE) is a set of physical tests that are carried out on infants in the age group of 3–24 months with neurological disorders. However, these tests are graded through visual observations, which can be highly subjective. Therefore, computer vision-aided approach can be used to assist the experts in the grading process. In this paper, we present a method of automatic exercise classification through visual analysis of the HINE videos recorded at hospitals. We have used scale-invariant-feature-transform features to generate a bag-of-words from the image frames of the video sequences. Frequency of these visual words is then used to classify the video sequences using HMM. We also present a method of event segmentation in long videos containing more than two exercises. Event segmentation coupled with a classifier can help in automatic indexing of long and continuous video sequences of the HINE set. Our proposed framework is a step forward in the process of automation of HINE tests through computer vision-based methods. We conducted tests on a dataset comprising of 70 HINE video sequences. It has been found that the proposed method can successfully classify exercises with accuracy as high as 84%. The proposed work has direct applications in automatic or semiautomatic analysis of “vertical suspension” and “ventral suspension” tests of HINE. Though some of the critical tests such as “pulled-to-sit,” “lateral tilting,” or “adductor’s angle measurement” have already been addressed using image- and video-guided techniques, scopes are there for further improvement.  相似文献

The B2 talus slide at the Jin’an Bridge hydropower station is located on the left bank of the Jinsha River and very close to the left abutment of the dam. The stability of the dam is directly influenced by the engineering geological properties, formation mechanisms, and failure modes of the B2 talus slide. This paper highlights the investigation and analysis of the in situ engineering geological conditions of the slide area. The results indicate that the B2 talus slide is composed of three parts: the talus deposits consisting of a soil-rock mixture (SRM) in the upper part, unloaded and relaxed rock mass in the middle part, and bedrock with several tuff interlayers in the lower part. Based on topographic and geomorphologic analyses, the structure of the rock and soil, distribution characteristics, formation mechanisms, and influencing factors, the strength of the SRM in the upper part and the properties of the tuff interlayer in the lower part are the main factors affecting the stability of the slide. Additionally, the failure modes of the slide are likely to be circular in nature in the talus deposits, broken line sliding along the interface between the unloaded and relaxed rock and the upper boundary of the tuff and broken line sliding along the tuff interlayer. The strength parameters of the SRM and the tuff interlayer were obtained through laboratory experiments and theoretical inverse analyses. Additionally, a three-dimensional geological model of the slide was created using the aforementioned results and the software GoCAD. Limit equilibrium and finite element methods were used to evaluate the stability of the slide using two-dimensional and three-dimensional models. The results indicate that the slope is stable under natural conditions. However, the slope may be unstable, under special conditions, such as artificial excavation, flood discharge atomization, rainstorms, and earthquakes.  相似文献

为研究开发酸性电解质可充式二次锌空电池,实验研究了以钛板为基体的锌电极,通过线性扫描曲线、SEM、金相、以及充电等方法来测试其性能,考察酸度、电流密度对锌沉积性能的影响程度,探索在酸性环境下最佳的溶液配比和最适宜的电流密度。在常温、酸浓度为1.0 mol/L,沉积锌适宜的电流密度为50~60 mA/cm2,沉积在钛板上锌的槽电压平台为3.0~3.1 V,沉积上的锌均匀致密,没有明显的枝晶和变形问题;六次循环沉积溶出实验后,电流效率高于85%,说明钛板是可行的新型可充式酸性锌空电池的锌载体材料。  相似文献

This study unites investigations into the linguistic relativity of color categories with research on children's category acquisition. Naming, comprehension, and memory for colors were tracked in 2 populations over a 3-year period. Children from a seminomadic equatorial African culture, whose language contains 5 color terms, were compared with a group of English children. Despite differences in visual environment, language, and education, they showed similar patterns of term acquisition. Both groups acquired color vocabulary slowly and with great individual variation. Those knowing no color terms made recognition errors based on perceptual distance, and the influence of naming on memory increased with age. An initial perceptually driven color continuum appears to be progressively organized into sets appropriate to each culture and language. The nickel‐iron hydroxide‐like catalyst for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is prepared by an improved coprecipitation method. The crystallization degree of hydrotalcite‐like compound is high, and the lamellar structure is homogeneous with no agglomeration, which helps to build efficient mass‐transfer layer channel of OH? ions. The NiFe layered double hydroxide (LDH)/carbon nanotubes (CNTs) electrode shows good performance and stability for OER. The potential of NiFe LDH/CNTs electrode is only 0.592 V (vs HgO/Hg) at 200 mA·cm?2 in 6 mol·L?1 potassium hydroxide (KOH) electrolyte, which shows excellent catalytic activity for OER. The NiFe LDH/CNTs electrode works continuously for 620 hours at 200 mA·cm?2, with the groove voltage only rises 0.1 V.  相似文献
