Polyacetylenes having carboxyl and/or amino groups in the side chain were synthesized by the polymerization of N-(2-propynyloxycarbonyl)-l-alanine (1) and l-alanine N-propargylamide (2) catalyzed with a rhodium cation complex. Poly(10.5-co-20.5) exhibited a larger CD signal than the homopolymers. The polymer mixtures obtained by the polymerization of 1 in the presence of poly(2), and those obtained by the polymerization of 2 in the presence of poly(1) showed specific rotations larger than calculated. The polymerization of propargylamine in the presence of poly(1) did not exhibit significant effect, while the polymer mixtures obtained by the polymerization of propiolic acid in the presence of poly(2) exhibited [α]D of positive sign, although poly(2) alone exhibited [α]D of negative sign.  相似文献

Grape seed extracts (GSEs) were investigated in yeast cells harbouring defects in their antioxidant system (regarding the cellular growth and growth recovery from H2O2 insult). GSEs antioxidant activity was detected in wild-type and mutant strains Δcta1, Δgsh1 and Δoye2glr1, while pro-oxidant activity in Δsod1 cells was seen. Assessment of proliferation of prostate cancer PC3 and HBV-replicating HepG2 2.2.15 cells treated with GSEs has shown higher cytotoxicity of red grape seed extract (RW) than white grape seed extract (WW) subjective to dose and period of administration. No antiviral effect was detected by measuring the secreted virion particles in HepG2 2.2.15 cells treated with GSEs. The GSEs play a dual antioxidant/pro-oxidant role in vivo according with the cellular antioxidant system deficiencies and exhibit cytotoxic properties in PC3 and HepG2 2.2.15 cell lines, but no antiviral action against HBV.  相似文献

The Sonogashira-Hagihara polymerization of 3′,5′-diiodo-N-α-tert-butoxycarbonyl-l-tyrosine methyl ester (1) and 3′,5′-diiodo-N-α-tert-butoxycarbonyl-O-methyl-l-tyrosine methyl ester (2) with para-diethynylbenzene (3) was carried out to obtain optically active poly(m-phenyleneethynylene-p-phenyleneethynylene)s [poly(1) and poly(2)] with Mn’s ranging from 9900 to 15,000 in 80-87% yields. Poly(1) exhibited intense CD signals in DMSO and THF, but did not in CH2Cl2, indicating that it took a predominantly one-handed helical conformation in the former two solvents. On the other hand, there was no evidence for poly(2) to take a helical structure in these solvents. Poly(1) turned the CD sign at 390 nm from plus to minus in DMSO/H2O = 9/1 (v/v) by the addition of NaOH. Alkaline hydrolysis of ester moieties of poly(1) and poly(2) gave the corresponding polymers having carboxy groups [poly(1a) and poly(2a)]. Poly(1a) and poly(2a) increased the CD intensity by the addition of NaOH.  相似文献

The effects of zinc deficiency and/or castration on the lipid composition of microsomal membranes of liver, small intestine and testes were studied in rats. The results showed that feeding a zinc-deficient diet to castrated rats decreased phospholipid content and consequently increased the cholesterol-to-phospholipid ratio in liver microsomes. An increase in cholesterol-to-phospholipid ratio occurred also in small intestine and testes microsomes from rats fed the zinc-deficient diet. It is postulated, therefore, that zinc deficiency alters the lipid composition and fluidity of microsomal membranes. Zinc deficiency also affected the activities of the enzymes involved in the formation of triglycerides and phospholipids. There was a large increase in total and specific activity of phosphatidate phosphatase and the changes in the total activity of choline phosphotransferase correlated well with the changes observed in serum or liver triglycerides and phospholipids. Stearoyl CoA desaturase, which is a control enzyme for hepatic lipogenesis, was also increased by more than 200% in zinc-deficient states, as was the diglyceride content of hepatic microsomes. These results indicate that the increased synthesis of triglycerides and phospholipids in zinc deficiency may be due to the increased availability of substrates as well as to increased activities of the enzymes involved in these processes.  相似文献

Mono-layers of aggregated Poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) and [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) molecules were obtained by using solutions of P3HT, PCBM and P3HT-PCBM mixture without stabilizers such as stearates in chloroform at an air-water interface. 1 to 10 cycle-lifted LB films of P3HT and PCBM were successfully transferred to cleaned bare indium-tin-oxide coated glass substrate by vertical lifting method excluding the first 1 to 2 cycle layer. The dependence of P3HT and PCBM film thickness on the transfer cycles has been explained by the molecular sizes, where four edge-on P3HT molecular and six PCBM molecular stacking which result in thickness was taken into account. Work functions of deposited LB-layers were consistent with those of the ordinary casted films. P3HT and PCBM LB-layers showed optical activity in both infra-red (IR) and visible absorption regions of the spectrum. P-polarized IR absorption owing to C=C and C=O stretching vibrations observed in LB-layered films clearly indicate the enhancement of the orientation of these bonds perpendicular to the substrate surface in contrast to the spin-coated one. Visible optical absorption intensity was increased well in proportion with the lift cycle-numbers of both P3HT and PCBM LB films. The photovoltaic characteristics have been observed in the devices fabricated with P3HT (5 cycles-layer)/PCBM (5 cycles-layer) LB hetero structure as an active layer of the solar cells. The surface pressure of LB compression for the mixture of P3HT and PCBM, that is, bulk hetero mixtures, has also been well built up to 30 mN/m.  相似文献

We have fabricated P3HT/PCBM based bulk-heterojunction photovoltaic cells with P3HT layer as the hole transport layer and PCBM layer as the electron transport layer between electrode and blended P3HT/PCBM layer in order to widen the photon harvesting layer. Current density has increased by about 1 mA/cm2 by the insertion of P3HT layer and the resulting conversion efficiency has been improved by about 20%. We have also fabricated a centimeter-scale active area with an efficiency of ∼1%.  相似文献
