To check compliance with the maximum residue levels in foods and to monitor the residue levels to enable an evaluation of the exposure of the Danish population to pesticides, a monitoring programme for pesticides residues in fruit and vegetables was performed. Sampling plans were designed based on previous findings and on consumption data. Samples (n = 4404) of mainly fresh conventionally and organically grown fruit and vegetables were collected at wholesalers and importers and at food processing companies. Of the samples, 3% were frozen products and 5% organically grown. Of the samples, 34% were of Danish origin, with 66% from other countries. Two accredited laboratories performed analyses of the samples using capillary gas chromatography, liquid chromatography and a spectrophotometric method. Reporting levels were set at the lowest calibration level or at the limit of determination. Residues were found in 60% of the samples of fruit but in only 18% of the vegetable samples. Residues above the maximum residue levels were found in 6% of all samples of fruit and in 2% of the vegetable samples.  相似文献

This paper outlines the main features of an electronic communication system, MMS, designed to support coordination and exchange of information in connection with emergency management (EM) efforts. The design of the MMS has been motivated by interviews with EM decision makers and reviews of communication and coordination problems observed during EM efforts and exercises. The system involves the use of a small set of message types designed to match the main categories of acts of communication in the domain of EM. Message tokens related to a sequence of message transactions can be linked, and links among messages can be viewed in a graphic tree-like display. By employing the extensive filtration facilities offered by the MMS, users are able to monitor the current status of messages. And, in general, filtration provides users with means of surveying a possibly large number of responses to messages. Thus, users are able to define filters that capture, for instance, “unanswered requests sent out by me today” or “requests from me that have not been answered by an unconditional `OK' ”. Last, the authors describe an associated preparedness plan module, which contains, for a given EM organization, its contingency plan and procedures to be applied during predefined stages of an emergency  相似文献

An accurate evaluation of daylight distribution through advanced fenestration systems (complex glazing, solar shading systems) requires the knowledge of their Bidirectional light Transmission (Reflection) Distribution Function BT(R)DF. An innovative equipment for the experimental assessment of these bi-directional functions has been developed, based on a digital imaging detection system. An extensive set of BTDF measurements was performed with this goniophotometer on Venetian blinds presenting curved slats with a mirror coating on the upper side.In this paper, the measured data are compared with ray-tracing results achieved with a virtual copy of the device, that was constructed with a commercial ray-tracing software. The model of the blind was created by implementing the measured reflection properties of the slats coatings in the ray-tracing calculations. These comparisons represent an original and objective validation methodology for detailed bi-directional properties for a complex system; the good agreement between the two methods, yet presenting very different parameters and assessment methodologies, places reliance both on the digital-imaging detection system and calibration, and on the potentiality of a flexible calculation method combining ray-tracing simulations with simple components measurements.  相似文献

A detailed knowledge of the light distribution characteristics through advanced window systems is required to improve the visual comfort of the building's occupants while controlling the propagation of daylight in rooms and the solar gains. An innovative bidirectional goniophotometer has recently been set up for this purpose, using digital image capture and the projection of the emerging light on a diffusing screen. It therefore provides a continuous investigation of the bidirectional transmission figures in a time-efficient way. This instrument was converted into a double-purpose device, allowing both transmission and reflection measurements, which induced several strong constraints due to the conflict of incident and emerging light flux in reflection mode: on one hand the incident beam had to be restricted to the sample area only; on the other hand, as the screen obstructed the incoming light flux in some positions, a special opening in the latter was required. The practical answer to these constraints, detailed in this paper, proved to be reliable, appropriate and efficient.  相似文献

In this article we demonstrate the use of self-assembled peptide nanotube structures as masking material in a rapid, mild and low cost fabrication of polymerized p-toluenesulfonate doped poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT:TsO) nanowire device. In this new fabrication approach the PEDOT:TsO nanowire avoids all contact with any organic solvents otherwise traditionally used in clean room fabrication. This can be achieved due to the intriguing properties of the self-assembled peptide nanotubes utilized as a dry etching mask for the patterning of the PEDOT:TsO nanowire. The peptide nanotubes, despite remaining stable during the reactive ion etching procedure, can be dissolved rapidly in water afterwards. The fabricated PEDOT:TsO nanowire devices exhibit excellent electrical characteristics. Finally, the potential of PEDOT:TsO nanowires as temperature sensors has been demonstrated and the high resolution of the sensor was illustrated.  相似文献

The uniform theory of diffraction (UTD) is applied to multiple absorbing screens, which are in the transition zones near shadow boundaries. The theory includes the application of slope diffraction, which is a first-order effect in transition zone diffraction. By choosing length parameters independently for amplitude and slope diffraction, it is ensured that the solution has continuity of amplitude and slope at each point. The solution is compared with known solutions with good results except when two screens are very near each other. An important distortion mechanism in hysteretic self-oscillating (SO) class-D (switch mode) power amplifiers-carrier distortion-is analyzed and an optimization method is proposed. This mechanism is an issue in any power amplifier application where a high degree of proportionality between input and output is required, such as in audio power amplifiers or xDSL drivers. From an average-mode point of view, carrier distortion is shown to be caused by nonlinear variation of the hysteretic comparator input average voltage with the output average voltage. This easily causes total harmonic distortion figures in excess of 0.1-0.2%, inadequate for high-quality audio applications. Carrier distortion is shown to be minimized when the feedback system is designed to provide a triangular carrier (sliding) signal at the input of a hysteretic comparator. The proposed optimization method is experimentally proven in an audio power amplifier leading to THD figures that are comparable to the state of the art. Experimental hardware is a hysteretic SO bandpass current-mode-controlled single-ended audio power amplifier capable of 45 W into 8 Omega or 80 W into 4Omega from a plusmn34 V supply with less than 0.03% THD from 100 Hz to 6.7 kHz. Carrier distortion is shown to account for this limitation in THD performance.  相似文献

The milk fat globule membrane-associated proteins adipophilin (alias adipocyte differentiation-related protein) and butyrophilin were purified from bovine milk by reverse-phase chromatography. The nucleotide sequence of bovine adipophilin was obtained via peptide mapping and sequencing of a mammary gland cDNA clone, which comprises 1841 nucleotides and has an open reading frame of 450 amino acids. By peptide mapping, 19% of the amino acid sequence was confirmed. The obtained amino acid sequence has 87 and 80% identical residues with human and mouse adipophilin, respectively. Alignment with the proteins perilipin and TIP47 revealed two highly conserved segments, which may assemble into amphipathic alpha-helices.  相似文献
