The primary cilium is a hair-like immotile organelle with specific membrane receptors, including the receptor of Hedgehog signaling, smoothened. The cilium organized in preosteoblasts promotes differentiation of the cells into osteoblasts (osteoblast differentiation) by mediating Hedgehog signaling to achieve bone formation. Notably, 4.1G is a plasma membrane-associated cytoskeletal protein that plays essential roles in various tissues, including the peripheral nervous system, testis, and retina. However, its function in the bone remains unexplored. In this study, we identified 4.1G expression in the bone. We found that, in the 4.1G-knockout mice, calcium deposits and primary cilium formation were suppressed in the trabecular bone, which is preosteoblast-rich region of the newborn tibia, indicating that 4.1G is a prerequisite for osteoblast differentiation by organizing the primary cilia in preosteoblasts. Next, we found that the primary cilium was elongated in the differentiating mouse preosteoblast cell line MC3T3-E1, whereas the knockdown of 4.1G suppressed its elongation. Moreover, 4.1G-knockdown suppressed the induction of the cilia-mediated Hedgehog signaling and subsequent osteoblast differentiation. These results demonstrate a new regulatory mechanism of 4.1G in bone formation that promotes the primary ciliogenesis in the differentiating preosteoblasts and induction of cilia-mediated osteoblast differentiation, resulting in bone formation at the newborn stage.  相似文献

On the basis of extreme similarity between the triangle phase diagrams of LiNiO2–LiTiO2–Li[Li1/3Ti2/3]O2 and LiNiO2–LiMnO2–Li[Li1/3Mn2/3]O2, new Li–Ni–Ti–O series with a nominal composition of Li1+z/3Ni1/2−z/2Ti1/2+z/6O2 (0 ≤ z ≤ 0.5) was designed and attempted to prepare via a spray-drying method. XRD identified that new Li–Ni–Ti–O compounds had cubic rocksalt structure, in which Li, Ni and Ti were evenly distributed on the octahedral sites in cubic closely packed lattice of oxygen ions. They can be considered as the solid solution between cubic LiNi1/2Ti1/2O2 and Li[Li1/3Ti2/3]O2 (high temperature form). Charge–discharge tests showed that Li–Ni–Ti–O compounds with appropriate compositions could display a considerable capacity (more than 80 mAh g−1 for 0.2 ≤ z ≤ 0.27) at room temperature in the voltage range of 4.5–2.5 V and good electrochemical properties within respect to capacity (more than 150 mAh g−1 for 0 ≤ z ≤ 0.27), cycleability and rate capability at an elevated temperature of 50 °C. These suggest that the disordered cubic structure in some cases may function as a good host structure for intercalation/deintercalation of Li+. A preliminary electrochemical comparison between Li1+z/3Ni1/2−z/2Ti1/2+z/6O2 (0 ≤ z ≤ 0.5) and Li6/5Ni2/5Ti2/5O2 indicated that charge–discharge mechanism based on Ni redox at the voltage of >3.0 V behaved somewhat differently, that is, Ni could be reduced to +2 in Li1+z/3Ni1/2−z/2Ti1/2+z/6O2 while +3 in Li6/5Ni2/5Ti2/5O2. Reduction of Ti4+ at a plateau of around 2.3 V could be clearly detected in Li1+z/3Ni1/2−z/2Ti1/2+z/6O2 with 0.27 ≤ z ≤ 0.5 at 50 °C after a deep charge associated with charge compensation from oxygen ion during initial cycle.  相似文献

Recently, remote monitoring camera systems have been widely used for security. In such systems, one important function is that the system automatically detects any change in the scenes from the monitoring cameras. In wireless remote monitoring camera systems, the images of the scenes are generally transmitted as compressed data (e.g., JPEG file), because of the capacity of the wireless channel. This article shows the automated detection of the change point in time-series data of compressed JPEG file quantity (Kbytes) from the monitoring camera by applying the sequential probabilistic ratio test (SPRT) and the Chow test, which is well known as a standard method for detecting structural change in time-series data.  相似文献

The local structure of trace amounts of lead in an adsorbent matrix that contains a high concentration of iron and magnesium (Mg6Fe2(OH)16(CO3) x 3H2O) was successfully monitored by means of X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy combined with fluorescence spectrometry. A eutectic mixture of PbCO3 and Pb(OH)2 coagulated when Pb2+ was adsorbed from a 1.0 ppm aqueous solution, and in contrast, the major species was ion-exchanged Pb2+ in the case of adsorption from a 100 ppb aqueous solution. The difference was ascribed to the balance between the precipitation equilibrium for coagulation and the rate of the ion exchange reaction with surface hydroxyl groups.  相似文献

This article presents an intelligent control system for a redundant manipulator to avoid physical limits such as joint angle limits and joint velocity limits. In this method, a back-propagation neural network (NN) is introduced for the kinematic inversion of the manipulator. Since this inverse kinematics has an infinite number of joint angle vectors, a fuzzy-neuro system is constructed to provide an approximate value for that vector. This vector is fed into the NN as a hint input vector in order to guide the output of the NN within the self-motion. Simulations and a comparative study are made based on a four-link redundant manipulator to prove the efficacy of the proposed control system.  相似文献

To ease the control of a nonholonomic robot by a non-expert, a neuro-interface is proposed by using the concept of a virtual master–slave system. The design procedure for the interface is elaborated for the control of nonholonomic two-wheeled robots. In particular, it is shown that if the coordinate transformation from the slave to the master is assumed to be known, the resultant inverse mapping of the master robot can be simply realized by a neural network (NN) with all linear units. The training of the NN is performed by an offline method. As a result, the effectiveness of the proposed method is shown for some simulations to solve a trajectory tracking control problem with a nonholonomic mobile robot.This work was presented, in part, at the 9th International Symposium on Artifical Life and Robotics, Oita, Japan, January 28–30, 2004  相似文献

In this paper, we propose two methods of adaptive actor-critic architectures to solve control problems of nonlinear systems. One method uses two actual states at time k and time k+1 to update the learning algorithm. The basic idea of this method is that the agent can directly take some knowledge from the environment to improve its knowledge. The other method only uses the state at time k to update the algorithm. This method is called, learning from prediction (or simulated experience). Both methods include one or two predictive models, which are assumed to be applied to construct predictive states and a model-based actor (MBA). Here, the MBA as an actor can be viewed as a network where the connection weights are the elements of the feedback gain matrix. In the critic part, two value-functions are realized as a pure static mapping, which can be reduced to a nonlinear current estimator by using the radial basis function neural networks (RBFNNs). Simulation results obtained for a dynamical model of nonholonomic mobile robots with two independent driving wheels are presented. They show the effectiveness of the proposed approaches for the trajectory tracking control problem.  相似文献

Electron-spin resonance (ESR) for the charge-ordered state in well-characterized Pr0.65Ca0.35MnO3 exhibited significant change of both the absorption profile and the effective spin susceptibility upon injection of laser light with photon energy of 1.17 eV provided by Nd-YAG laser. The increase of the effective spin susceptibility was clearly found out thanks to the injection of photons in the temperature range 90 K–80 K, which is below the transition temperature from the antiferromagnetic charge ordered state to the canted antiferromagnetic spin alternation state, T CAF125 K. The temperature dependence of the change of the ESR profile excludes the possibility of heating by laser light. The present result suggests that a kind of photo-induced insulator–metal transition may occur due to propagation of the delocalized carriers via probable double exchange interaction in the charge-ordering collapsed state created by the injection of photons.  相似文献
