In this study, varied nature organic matter isolates were employed to investigate the indirect photo transformation of terbutaline, which is a major feed additive medicine to increase the proportion of lean meat in the livestock. In the indirect photolysis of terbutaline under solar simulated irradiation, 1O2 plays an important role among the •OH and 3DOM∗. The reaction rate constant of 1O2 was determined as (7.1 ± 0.3) × 106 M−1 s−1 at pH 7.0, while the reaction rate constant of •OH was (6.87 ± 0.43) × 109 M−1 s−1. The contribution of singlet oxygen to the indirect photolysis of terbutaline (19–44%) was higher than that of the hydroxyl radical (1–7%). The pseudo first order rate constants for the photodegradation of terbutaline increase with increasing pH, which indicates that pH mainly affects the reaction rate of the singlet oxygen with the phenolic part of the terbutaline. The Quinone was identified as the main photosensitized product through LC–MS/MS analysis. It is also proposed that the degradation pathway of terbutaline involves reaction between the phenolic part of terbutaline and singlet oxygen. This finding strongly suggests that singlet oxygen was important factor for the photodegradation of terbutaline in natural waters. 相似文献

The processing problems associated with boron carbide and the limitations of its mechanical properties can be significantly reduced when a metal phase (e.g., aluminum) is added. Lower densification temperatures and higher fracture toughness will result. Based on fundamental capillarity ther modynamics, reaction thermodynamics, and densification kinetics, we have established reliable criteria for fabricating B4 C–Al particulate composites. Because chemical reactions cannot be eliminated, it is necessary to process B4 C–AI by rapidly heating to near 1200°C (to ensure wetting) and subsequently heat-treating below 1200°C (for microstructural development). 相似文献

The Impact of Event Scale (ES; M. J. Horowitz, N. Wilner, & W. Alvarez, 1979) is a worldwide-used self-report measure to assess the frequency of intrusive and avoidant phenomena after a variety of traumatic experiences. The purpose of this article is to assess the psychometric value of the Dutch version of the IES (D. Brom & R. J. Kleber, 1985) in several samples of individuals who had experienced various traumatic stressors. The reliability and structure of the IES were evaluated in 3 different samples (total N = 1.588). The reliability of the Dutch version of the IES was adequate across the various stressors. The construct validity was assessed by using confirmatory factor analyses. A concept is presented along with the overarching structure of the virtual power plant (VPP), the primary vehicle for delivering cost efficient integration of distributed energy resources (DER) into the existing power systems. The growing pressure, primarily driven by environmental concerns, for generating more electricity from renewables and improving energy efficiency have promoted the application of DER into electricity systems. So far, DER have been used to displace energy from conventional generating plants but not to displace their capacity as they are not visible to system operators. If this continues, this will lead to problematic over-capacity issues and under-utilisation of the assets, reduce overall system efficiency and eventually increase the electricity cost that needs to be paid by society. The concept of VPP was developed to enhance the visibility and control of DER to system operators and other market actors by providing an appropriate interface between these system components. We studied the problem of QoS guarantee for differentiated services. A two-level hierarchical scheduling framework was deployed to separate QoS metrics. Due to its desirable property of minimizing the maximum packet lateness, the Earliest Deadline First (EDF) scheduling was adopted to provide the in-class scheduling for the time-sensitive traffic. We employed an EDF scheduler combined with an active buffer management scheme (CHOKe) to improve the fairness of resource allocation and to maintain a good delay performance for real-time applications. Simulation results showed that the proposed scheme can achieve a better delay performance and make a more fair bandwidth allocation between the real-time TCP and UDP connections than the First Come First Served (FCFS) scheduling with the drop-tail buffer management which is commonly deployed in traditional IP routers. 相似文献

This paper presents an overview of a demonstration project in which corroding prestressed piles located in tidal waters were wrapped underwater using carbon and glass fiber-reinforced polymer material. An innovative instrumentation scheme was developed to allow assessment of the prewrap and postwrap corrosion state using linear polarization. This system is simple to install and eliminates the need for wiring or junction boxes. The underwater wrap used a unique water-activated urethane resin system that eliminated the need for cofferdam construction. Linear polarization measurements taken before and after wrapping indicate that the corrosion rate in the wrapped specimens is consistently lower than those in its unwrapped counterpart. These preliminary findings are encouraging and suggest that underwater wrapping without cofferdam construction may provide a cost-effective solution for pile repair. 相似文献
