Development of memories based on organic soft materials is a current industrial niche aimed at the upper contacts flash memories. The electrical bistability of such materials makes them ideal candidates for cost-effective, fast-programming switching devices. Hybrid thin films of SiO2 with Rose Bengal (bis-triethylammonium) dopant are here reported for the first time, together with their characterisations. Technology-wise the main advantage of the films is the possibility to cast photolithographically, which is also cost-effective. The physical and chemical stability of the films yields reproducible devices, from both the microtechnological and electrical point of view. 相似文献

The present work continues the previous studies concerning the synthesis and characterization of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) with sclareol as template and three poly(acrylonitrile‐co‐acrylic acid) (AN:AA) copolymers with different ratios between monomers as matrices. The previous studies of rheology, elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, size exclusion chromatography, thermogravimetry, differential scanning calorimetry, batch rebinding tests, and Scatchard analysis, which confirmed the molecular imprinting, are being completed with the current equilibrium and kinetic adsorption studies. For this purpose, eight adsorption isotherms and three kinetic adsorption models were applied to six sets of experimental data obtained after three sclareol‐imprinted adsorbents (MIPs) and three nonimprinted adsorbents (NIPs) were submitted to batch adsorption experiments. After ordering the adsorption models according to the “minimum sum of normalized errors (SNE)” criteria, it was concluded that the adsorption in sclareol imprinted AN:AA copolymers is characterized by low surface coverage, takes place on heterogeneous binding sites and is reversible, while for NIPs the results suggest a difficult adsorption and/or easiness of template extraction, and that NIPs have homogeneous, but nonimprinted micropores. For the kinetic experiments, the minimum SNE for MIPs points to the first order kinetic model, fact that suggests a physical adsorption of template molecules on the imprinted sites. POLYM. ENG. In order to facilitate the extraction of quantitative data from live cell image sets, automated image analysis methods are needed. This paper presents an introduction to the general principle of an overlap cell tracking software developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This cell tracker has the ability to track cells across a set of time lapse images acquired at high rates based on the amount of overlap between cellular regions in consecutive frames. Introduction: The focus of this work was to produce matrix pellets made by extrusion/ spheronization using two types of equipment. The aim was to accomplish the laboratory-scale I process that has been already optimized and accepted with another type of equipment (laboratory-scale II).
Methods: A matrix pellet formulation consisting of MCC, Eudragit NE 30D and diclofenac sodium was used in the two types of equipment. Physico-chemical parameters and the dissolution profiles of the pellets in phosphate buffer pH 6.8 were compared.
Results: Pellets from both processes were similar in shape and tensile strength. They differed in particle size and dissolution profile. This may be contributed to different spheronization conditions. 相似文献

We report the synthesis of molecularly imprinted sorbents, selective for gallic acid. The particles were prepared by using acrylic acid, acrylonitrile, and hydroxyethyl methacrylate as functional monomers, whereas ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate and 1,4‐buthanediol dimethacrylate were used as crosslinkers. Preparation and manipulation protocols were adjusted considering template's nature. To highlight the influence of monomer/crosslinker nature upon imprinted particles, the adsorption capacity, the imprinting factor, and the distribution and selectivity coefficients were calculated. An imprinting factor of 3.53 and a selectivity coefficient of 6.86 were found for hydroxyethyl methacrylate/ethylene glycol methacrylate system. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
