Manganese dioxide films were grown on large area flexible carbon aerogel substrates. Characterization by x-ray diffraction confirmed α-MnO2 growth. Three types of films were compared as a function of hexamethylenetetramine (HMTA) concentration during growth. The highest concentration of HM TA produced MnO2 flower-like films, as observed by scanning electron microscopy, whose thickness and surface coverage lead to both a higher specific capacitance and higher series resistance. Specific capacitance was measured to be 64 F/g using a galvanostatic setup, compared to the 47 F/g-specific capacitance of the carbon aerogel substrate. Such supercapacitor devices can be fabricated on large area sheets of carbon aerogel to achieve high total capacitance.  相似文献

The lithium extraction from a lepidolite concentrate using roasting, followed by water leaching, was studied. Several alternative additives were initially tested. The use of sodium and calcium sulfates as additives was evaluated in more detail. The influence of some process variables, namely the roasting time, roasting temperature and the additive/concentrate mass ratio, was studied applying a design of experiments. The lithium extraction was modelled and the fitted and validated model was used to optimize the process response. The increase in the additive/concentrate mass ratio, roasting time and temperature seems to result in solid state reactions and transformations that lead to phase, morphological and particle size distribution modifications, which were assessed by XRPD, SEM, and particle size analyses. In this process, lithium sodium sulfate formation constitutes a crucial step enabling the Li water leaching. High lithium extractions were estimated for several combinations of factors. At 850°C, lithium extractions over 90% are obtained when the roasting time is above 1.90 hour and the additive/concentrate mass ratios are over 0.77. An increase in the temperature to 875°C also leads to lithium extractions over 90% for a roasting time of 1 hour and an additive/concentrate mass ratio of 0.60.  相似文献

This paper presents a multi-population biased random-key genetic algorithm (BRKGA) for the single container loading problem (3D-CLP) where several rectangular boxes of different sizes are loaded into a single rectangular container. The approach uses a maximal-space representation to manage the free spaces in the container. The proposed algorithm hybridizes a novel placement procedure with a multi-population genetic algorithm based on random keys. The BRKGA is used to evolve the order in which the box types are loaded into the container and the corresponding type of layer used in the placement procedure. A heuristic is used to determine the maximal space where each box is placed. A novel procedure is developed for joining free spaces in the case where full support from below is required. The approach is extensively tested on the complete set of test problem instances of Bischoff and Ratcliff [1] and Davies and Bischoff [2] and is compared with 13 other approaches. The test set consists of 1500 instances from weakly to strongly heterogeneous cargo. The computational experiments demonstrate that not only the approach performs very well in all types of instance classes but also it obtains the best overall results when compared with other approaches published in the literature.  相似文献

The passive fit between prosthesis and implant is a relevant factor for screw joint stability and treatment success. The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of vertical misfit in abutment-implant interface on preload maintenance of retention screw of implant-supported crowns. The crowns were fabricated with different abutments and veneering materials and divided into 5 groups (n = 12): Gold UCLA abutments cast in gold alloy veneered with ceramic (Group I) and resin (Group II), UCLA abutments cast in titanium veneered with ceramic (Group III) and resin (Group IV), and zirconia abutments with ceramic veneering (Group V). The crowns were attached to implants by gold retention screws with 35-N cm insertion torque. Specimens were submitted to mechanical cycling up to 106 cycles. Measurements of detorque and vertical misfit in abutment-implant interface were performed before and after mechanical cycling. ANOVA revealed statistically significant difference (P < 0.05) among groups for vertical misfit measured before and after mechanical cycling. The abutments cast in titanium exhibited the highest misfit values. Pearson correlation test did not demonstrate significant correlation (P > 0.05) between vertical misfit and detorque value. It was concluded that vertical misfit did not influence torque maintenance and the abutments cast in titanium exhibited the highest misfit values.  相似文献

In this paper, the tensile behaviour of a new type of blind bolt, the anchored blind bolt, has been studied. This type of bolt consists of a conventional blind bolt with a headed stud extension that anchors it into the infill concrete. It has been developed for use in moment-resisting connections between I-beams and concrete-filled hollow section columns. The behaviour of these connections is highly dependent on the tensile behaviour of the anchored blind bolts. Hence, the fundamental mechanics of this behaviour has been studied here, both experimentally and in simulations using FE models. The complex interactions between the headed stud anchorage, the concrete infill, and the steel tube have been examined in detail. The experimental and numerical findings were used to understand the influence of important parameters in the tensile behaviour of the anchored blind bolts. It was found that the location of the bolt with respect to the side walls of the tube had a substantial influence on the behaviour of the anchored blind bolts. All the bolts located close to the side walls of the square hollow sections reached the ultimate tensile capacity of the equivalent structural bolts. This was due to the development of a concrete strut which transferred the load to the corner of the steel section. The bolt diameter also had a significant influence on the stiffness and strength of the anchored blind bolts.  相似文献

Free discontinuity problems arising in the variational theory for fracture mechanics are considered. A Γ -convergence proof for an r-adaptive 3D finite element discretization is given in the case of a brittle material. The optimal displacement field, crack pattern and mesh geometry are obtained through a variational procedure that encompasses both mechanical and configurational forces. Possible extensions to cohesive fracture and quasi-static evolutions are discussed.  相似文献

Many techniques have been used to coat metallic substrate with bioceramics. The aim of this study was to study the physical-chemical characteristics of polyvinylidene fluoride (α-PVDF)/hydroxyapatite (HA) composite coating, obtained by casting method, on commercially pure titanium (α-CP Ti) substrate surface modified by laser beam irradiation. The preparation of coating was done for mixing α-PVDF pellets shape dissolved in dimethylacetamide (DMA) with HA/DMA emulsion. The mixture was poured onto the α-CP Ti sample and left to dry in an oven. CP Ti plates were coated with α-PVDF/HA composite film, in proportions of 100/00 and 60/40 in weight, and characterized by particle size analysis, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffractometry, thickness measurement and contact angle. Uniform coating with a small thickness variation along the coated surface was successfully obtained.  相似文献

A magnetic resin based on cardanol, furfural, and curaua fibers was prepared and characterized. The material could be used in oil‐spill cleanup processes, because of its aromatic/aliphatic balance. The resin was prepared through bulk polycondensation of cardanol and furfural in the presence of curaua fibers and maghemite nanoparticles. Hydrophobicity of the curaua fibers was improved by acetylation, increasing the oil‐absorbing capability of the composites. The obtained magnetic composites were studied by Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and thermogravimetric analysis. Degree of cure, magnetic force, and oil‐removal capability tests were also performed. The results show that the composites possess an elevated cure degree in addition to a considerable magnetic force. The materials exhibit a good oil removal capability in the presence of a magnetic field, which is improved by the use of acetylated curaua.
