Investigation of Mechanical and Electrical Characteristics for Cracked Conductive Particle in Anisotropic Conductive Adhesive (ACA) Assembly

In an anisotropic conductive adhesive (ACA) assembly, the electrical conduction is usually achieved with the conductive particles between the bumps of integrated circuit (IC) and corresponding conductive tracks on the glass substrate. Fully understanding of the mechanical and electrical characteristics of ACA particles can help to optimize the assembly process and improve the reliability of ACA interconnection. Most conductive particles used in the ACA assembly are with cracks in the metal coating of the particles after the ACA bonding. This paper introduced the fracture analysis by applying the cohesive elements in the numerical model of the nickel-coated polymer particle and further simulating the cracks initiation and propagation in the nickel coating during the ACA bonding. The simulation results showed that the stress distribution on the nickel-coated particle with cracks was significantly different from that on the nickel-coated particle without crack, indicating that the stress analysis by taking the crack into consideration is very important for the reliability assessment of the ACA interconnection. The stress analysis of cohesive elements indicated that the cracks initiated at the central area of the nickel coating and propagated to the polar area. Furthermore, by the introduction of a new parameter of the virtual resistance, a mathematical model was established to describe the electrical characteristics of the nickel-coated particle with cracks. The particle resistance of the nickel-coated particle with cracks was found to be much higher than that of the particle without crack in the optimized bonding pressure range, indicating that it is necessary to take the crack into consideration for the particle conduction analysis as well. Therefore, the fracture analysis on the conductive particle by taking the crack into consideration could accurately evaluate the reliability of ACA interconnection and avoid serious reliability issues.     

喷墨打印相纸及打印图像质量的分析

喷墨打印相纸随着数码相机的发展近几年在国内发展迅速。针对目前产品质量没有测量标准的现状,提出喷墨相纸的质量指标主要为4个,即白度、光泽度、油墨吸收性和防水性。给出了相应的测量方法。并指出相纸上油墨点的面积是衡量质量的第一重要指标,其次是点的圆度。另外对图像输出的质量介绍了一种科学的评价方法,即图像的逼真性分析。说明图像的打印墨点直径不应小于方形像素的对角线长,图像才能真实再现。     

Effects of Y and Ce on Microstructures and Properties of Nb-Si System Composites

The effects of yttrium and cerium on microstructures and properties of Nb-Si system composites were investigated by scanning electron microscopy( SEM), energy dispersive spectrum(EDS), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and high temperature oxidation experiments.It is found that the coarse primary silicide phase became finer and more homogeneous with Y and Ce addition.The results of high temperature oxidation experiments show that the oxidation rates of NbSi system composites with an appropriate amount of Y and Ce decrease compared with those of alloys without Y or Ce addition, and oxidation products mainly distribute along the phase boundaries between the Nb solid solution and silicide.     

欠驱动系统Pendubot的模糊控制策略

本文针对欠驱动Pendubot机器人系统，提出一种简单可靠的摇起及平衡控制策略。通过利用模糊控制及全状态反馈控制技术来分别设计摇起控制器及平衡控制器，其中模糊摇起控制器的设计使得系统的摇起可靠性得到大大的加强，并缩短了响应时间，两个控制器的转换通过转换装置实现。最后的仿真结果验证了算法的有效性。     

Blends of nylon 6 with an ethylene-based multifunctional polymer. I. Rheology–structure relationships

An experimental study was conducted to investigate the rheological behavior of a heterogeneous polymer blend system consisting of nylon 6 and an ethylene-based multifunctional polymer (CXA 3101, DuPont Co.). For comparison purposes, we also investigated the rheological behavior of two additional blend systems, namely blends of nylon 6 with a chemically modified polyolefin (Plexar 3, Chemplex Co.) and blends of nylon 6 with ethylene–vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA). We have investigated the thermal and thermomechanical behavior of the blend systems, using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). Also, we have attempted to identify the chemical structure of the functional groups present in the CXA 3101 and Plexar 3 resins, using infrared (IR) spectroscopy. This information has enabled us to interpret the observed rheological behavior. Furthermore, we have used both optical and scanning electron microscopies to investigate the state of dispersion of the constituent components in each of the blend systems. We have concluded that, during melt blending, chemical reactions have taken place between carboxyl or anhydride groups present in the CXA 3101 resin and the amino end groups of the nylon 6, forming a graft copolymer which then acted as an “interfacial agent.”     

Reduction of optical beat interference using gain-saturated RSOA in upstream WDM/SCM optical links

A new scheme for reducing optical beat interference (OBI) noise in optical network units is proposed for subcarrier multiplexing-based access network applications. The optical spectrum of the transmit lasers is broadened by using a radio frequency (RF) clipping tone with a modulation depth greater than one. This reduces the impact of the OBI noise. The distortions caused by an RF clipping tone are also suppressed by introducing a gain-saturated reflective optical amplifier, which shows the characteristics of high-pass filter. The proposed scheme has been verified by measuring the error vector magnitude of 16QAM signal with 20 Mbps. Error-free transmission has been achieved even when the light of OBI-noise-causing lasers is stronger than that of the signal laser by 7 dB     

齿轮键槽拉削胎具

我公司生产的150C刮板机斜齿轮和40t刮板机斜齿轮、正齿轮双键槽(如图1),一直采用插床加工,生产效率低,满足不了产品的生产需要。为此,我们改用拉床拉削键槽,设计制作了如图2所示的键槽拉胎。     

Wavelength and repetition rate tunable optical pulse source using a chirped fiber Bragg grating and a nonlinear optical loop mirror

We experimentally demonstrate a simple and novel scheme for tunable real-repetition-rate multiplication, based on the combined use of fractional Talbot effect in a linearly tunable chirped fiber Bragg grating (FBG) and cross-phase modulation (XPM) effect in a nonlinear optical loop mirror (NOLM). By tuning the group-velocity dispersion of the chirped FBG fabricated with the S-bending method using a uniform FBG, we obtain high quality pulses at pseudorepetition rates of 20/spl sim/50 GHz from an original 8.5-ps 10-GHz soliton pulse train. We subsequently convert this pseudorate multiplication into a real-rate multiplication using XPM effect in an NOLM. A wavelength tuning is also achieved over a /spl sim/15-nm range.     

Cu—Zn—Al系合金热弹性马氏体相变的热滞

本文通过热处理工艺及添加第四组元研究了Cu－Zn－Al系记忆合金的相变热滞。结果表明，淬火冷却速度影响合金的相变热滞大小，随着母相时效时间的延长，马氏体相变热滞变大．Mn元素的加入可以减小CU－Zn－Al合金相变热滞．
