The effect of support type on synthesis gas production using Co‐based catalysts supported over TiO2‐P25, Al2O3, SiO2, and CeO2 was investigated. The catalysts were prepared by the incipient wet impregnation method and characterized by various techniques for comparison. Experiments were performed in a micro tubular reactor. The results revealed that all Co‐supported catalysts produced synthesis gas ratios of 1 and below and, thus, proved to be well‐suited for methanol and Fischer‐Tropsch syntheses. Co catalysts supported over TiO2‐P25 and Al2O3 provided better synthesis gas ratios and stability performances. The promotion of a Co/TiO2‐P25 catalyst with Ce had a substantial influence on its catalytic activity and the amount of carbon deposit. A Ce‐promoted catalyst diminished markedly the extent of carbon deposition and thus boosted the performance towards better activity and stability. 相似文献

A method is described for the estimation of individual polyphenols of tea leaf. Polyphenols separated by two-way paper chromatography of a methanolic extract of the material were located under ultra-violet light. The excised spots were eluted with water and estimated from extinctions at 275 nm. Three of the polyphenols, (?)-epigallocatechin gallate, (?)-epigallocatechin and (?)-epicatechin gallate, which comprise 10-19% of the dry matter of tea shoots from Assam, are partly consumed during the manufacture of black tea. Seasonal variation in the polyphenolic content of some jats and clones grown in North East India are described. The phenolic content of the tea shoots was higher during rains. Changes in the phenolic pattern during the growth and development of tea flower, fruit and seed are described. Organs of tea, such as sepals, petals and pericarp with closer morphological affinities to the leaf, showed a greater degree of similarity in their phenolic pattern compared with other organs such as stigma, style, carpel, anther and testa. ABSTRACTWe present a theoretical model to realize the symmetric and asymmetric diffraction grating in a four-level atomic medium. The proposed atomic medium follows a double lambda configuration where four fields interact with it. We get control over symmetric and asymmetric behavior of the diffraction grating by manipulating the relative phase of the fields. Interestingly, the symmetric and asymmetric diffraction grating become prominent when the vortex beam is used instead of the plane wave. Enhanced first, second, and third-order diffraction gratings are achieved via the vortex beam. Further, we find control over asymmetric diffraction gratings by the relative phase of the fields. Coherent control of asymmetric diffraction grating in negative and positive diffracted angles is also achieved via the relative phase. 相似文献

With the increased penetration of real-time systems into our surroundings, the selection of an efficient schedulability test
under fixed priority system from a plethora of existing results, has become a matter of primary interest to real-time system
designers. The need for a faster schedulability tests becomes more prominent when it applies to online systems, where processor
time is a sacred resource and it is of central importance to assign processor to execute tasks instead of determining system
schedulability. Under fixed priority nonpreemptive real-time systems, current schedulability tests (in exact form) can be
divided into: response time based tests, and scheduling points tests. To the best of our knowledge, no comparative study of
these test to date has ever been presented. The aim of this work is to assist the system designers in the process of selecting
a suitable technique from the existing literature after knowing the pros and cons associated with these tests. We highlight
the mechanism behind the feasibility tests, theoretically and experimentally. Our experimental results show that response
time based tests are faster than scheduling points tests, which make the response time based tests an excellent choice for

quenching techniques were used to study the phase equilibria of the ferrous calcium silicate slags. The compositions of phases
in the slags were measured accurately using electron probe X-ray microanalysis (EPMA). The phase equilibria of the system
have been characterized at oxygen partial pressures between 10−5 atm and 10−7 atm at selected temperatures between 1473 K and 1623 K (1200 °C and 1350 °C). The effects of oxygen partial pressure and temperature

Farmyard manure (FYM-BC) and poultry manure (PM-BC) derived biochars were applied as adsorbents to remove Cd2+ from water. Results indicated that PM-BC was a more efficient adsorbent than FYM-BC at all experimental conditions. Maximum Cd2+ adsorption was observed at pH 4, temperature 318 K and contact time 1 h, regardless of biochar type. The Langmuir model predicted maximum adsorption capacity of 90.09 mg g?1 for PM-BC. The data fitting to pseudo-second-order model proposed chemisorption of Cd2+ onto biochars. Thermodynamics indicated that adsorption was spontaneous and endothermic. Post-adsorption analysis provided evidences of strong chemical interactions between biochars’ functional groups and Cd2+ ions. 相似文献
