Our purpose is to develop the technology for evaluating emotion objectively from the oxygenated hemoglobin within a brain. Nowadays, Japan is an aging society. The elderly people who need care will increase from now on increasingly. In the case of the person requiring the care who lost the function to convey an intention especially, the objective judgment to a physical and mental pain is required. Persons requiring care will also increase in number with the increase in this population. We gave subject stimulus of a comfortable or an uncomfortable sound and measured concentration of the oxygenated hemoglobin of a frontal lobe part by near-infrared spectroscopy. Based on the experimental result, a comfortable state or an uncomfortable state was distinguished by concentration of the oxygenated hemoglobin using the bayesian network. As a result, we were able to estimate the subject’s psychological condition.  相似文献

The Twomey non-linear iteration (NLI) method is known by the simple algorithm. However, the performance of the inversion is strongly depended on parameters of the NLI algorithm. Major parameters in the algorithm are the initial size distribution, weight parameter, and the number of iteration. In the study, we show how values of initial parameters affect to the result of size distribution in the algorithm by the laser diffraction scattering method. Computer simulations and experimental method are carried out to observe the influence of the parameters in the algorithm. Scattering pattern is calculated by Mie scattering model in the range of 5.0 × 10?4 ? 2.5 rad. Experimental results were measured mono-distribution polystyrene latex (50 μm) and poly-distribution glass beads (3–30 μm, and 10–100 μm). The number of iteration is a most influence parameter in the NLI algorithm. If the number of iteration is too high for calculation, calculated result will lose the smoothness. We also introduced a new parameter C (combination of the sum of residual squares of scattering signals and sum of secondary differentiation of size distribution) to monitor the suitable stop criterion for the NLI method. The parameter C is a useful index for the poly dispersion sample to find the suitable stop criterion.  相似文献

Poly(l-lactide) (PLLA) polymers having terminal n-alkyl groups with a wide variety of lengths (C0–C22) were synthesized by ring-opening polymerization of l-lactide in the presence of coinitiators of l-lactic acid (C0), 1-hexanol (C6), 1-dodecanol (C12), and 1-docosanol (C22) and their segmental mobility and non-isothermal and isothermal crystallization behavior were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and wide-angle X-ray diffractometry (WAXD). Glass transition and cold crystallization temperatures of melt-quenched samples during heating decreased with an increase in the length of terminal n-alkyl groups. The enhanced PLLA segmental mobility and hydrophobic interaction-based accelerated PLLA nucleation by the presence of terminal long n-alkyl groups should have caused the accelerated non-isothermal and isothermal crystallization of PLLA segments traced by cold crystallization temperature during heating and by radial growth rate of spherulites, respectively. The crystallization accelerating effect became higher with the length of terminal n-alkyl groups. The effects of the length of terminal n-alkyl group on the crystalline growth mechanism of PLLA at the lowest crystallizable temperature was insignificant, whereas the effects of the length of terminal n-alkyl group on the nucleation mechanism of PLLA chains were significant and insignificant for PLLA having Mn of 6–7 × 103 of 2 × 104 g mol−1, respectively. WAXD measurements revealed that the transition crystallization temperature at which crystalline modification changes from δ-form to α-form was affected by the length of terminal n-alkyl group for PLLA having Mn of 6–7 × 103 g mol−1, but was not altered by the length of terminal n-alkyl group for PLLA having Mn of 2 × 104 g mol−1.  相似文献

The non-isothermally and isothermally crystallized stereodiblock copolymers of poly(l-lactide) (PLLA) and poly(d-lactide) (PDLA) with equimolar l-lactyl and d-lactyl units and different number-average molecular weights (Mn) of 3.9 × 103, 9.3 × 103, and 1.1 × 104 g mol−1, which are abbreviated as PLLA-b-PDLA copolymers, contained only stereocomplex crystallites as crystalline species, causing higher melting temperatures of the PLLA-b-PDLA copolymers compared to those of PLLA homopolymers. In the case of non-isothermal crystallization, the cold crystallization temperatures of the PLLA-b-PDLA copolymers during heating and cooling were respectively lower and higher than those of PLLA homopolymers, indicating accelerated crystallization of PLLA-b-PDLA copolymers. In the case of isothermal crystallization, in the crystallizable temperature range, the crystallinity (Xc) values of the PLLA-b-PDLA copolymers were lower than those of the PLLA homopolymers, and were susceptible to the effect of crystallization temperature in contrast to that of homopolymers. The radial growth rate of the spherulites (G) of the PLLA-b-PDLA copolymers was the highest at the middle Mn of 9.3 × 103 g mol−1. This trend is different from that of the PLLA homopolymers where the G values increased monotonically with a decrease in Mn, but seems to be caused by the upper critical Mn values of PLLA and PDLA chains as in the case of PLLA/PDLA blends (in other papers), above which homo-crystallites are formed in addition to stereocomplex crystallites. The disturbed crystallization of PLLA-b-PDLA copolymers compared to that of the PLLA/PDLA blend is attributable to the segmental connection between the PLLA and PDLA chains, which interrupted the free movement of those chains of the PLLA-b-PDLA copolymers during crystallization. The crystallite growth mechanism of the PLLA-b-PDLA copolymers was different from that of the PLLA/PDLA blend.  相似文献

To obtain poly(lactic acid) (PLA) complex fibers, spinning was performed by wet and dry methods from 5–10 g/dL chloroform solutions of poly(D-lactic acid) (PDLA) and poly(L-lactic), both with a viscosity-average molecular weight of 3 × 105. The dope was extruded from a monohole nozzle into coagulation baths from ethanol and chloroform for wet spinning and into a drying column kept at 60°C for dry spinning. Scanning electron microscopic observation of the as-spun fibers showed that the surface of the wet-spun fiber had large basins with diameters of 50–100 μm and many pores with diameters from sub μm to 10 μm, whereas the surface of dry-spun fiber had a microporous structure with the pore diameter of 1–3 μm. The tensile strength of the wet-spun complex fiber was very low and could not be drawn at high temperatures, in contrast to the dry-spun fiber. The tensile strength of dry-spun complex fiber increased upon hot drawing and showed the tensile strength of 94 kg/mm2 by drawing at 160°C to the draw ratio of 13. Differential scanning calorimetry revealed that the complex fibers contained both the stereocomplex crystallites (racemic crystallites) and the crystallites of the single polymers, PDLA and PLLA, regardless of the spinning methods. The ratio of the racemic crystallites to the single-polymer crystallites increased with the draw ratio of the complex fiber. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

A series of novel hexene‐1–propylene random copolymers with isotactic sequence of propylene was synthesized with a MgCl2‐supported Cr(acac)3 catalyst. The molecular weight distribution of copolymers and homopolymers was considerably narrower than that of typical polyolefins produced by heterogeneous Ziegler–Natta catalysts. The crystallizability of the copolymers having a propylene‐unit content of more than 50 mol % drastically decreased with decreasing propylene‐unit content, and the copolymers with a propylene content of less than 50 mol % were completely amorphous. In the present novel type of random copolymers with crystallizable and noncrystallizable units, a single glass transition was observed between pure polypropylene and polyhexene‐1, and a major component was found to govern the final morphology and the mechanical characteristics. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Experimental studies have been carried out about the particle separation performance of single and two inlets hydrocyclones. Two types of hydrocyclones having the same total inlet holes area were examined. Hydrocyclone A (with single inlet hole) and hydrocyclone B (with two inlet holes) were used. An aqueous slurry of silica particles (0.5 wt% with a median diameter of about 2.1 μm) was tested using a 20 mm-diameter hydrocyclone with a 15% underflow ratio. It was found that the optimum flow rate which gives the highest separation performance of the hydrocyclone B is the same flow rate for each inlet. Usage of the hydrocyclone B indicated smaller cut size and higher particle collection efficiency compared to that of the hydrocyclone A, under the same flow rate or same pressure drop conditions. The time of flight model was used to predict the 50% cut size diameter for single inlet hydrocyclone, and the model was modified to the two inlets hydrocyclone. It was found that the calculated results agree well with the experimental results for the hydrocyclone A, and for the hydrocyclone B under the low total flow rates conditions.  相似文献

In the absence of molecular oxygen, various aromatic ketones such as acetophenone derivatives and diaryl ketones were photocatalytically hydrogenated on polycrystalline titanium dioxide (Degussa P25) under UV light irradiation (> 340 nm). The desired secondary alcohols were obtained with excellent chemical efficiency (almost 100% yields for 10 examples) by choosing ethanol as a sacrificial hole scavenger, which was oxidized into acetaldehyde.  相似文献
