Abstract

Gluten-related disorders (GRD) affects approximately 10% of the general population. The only treatment for GRD is still so far is the lifelong complete exclusion of gluten from the daily diet. The correct information about the presence/absence of gluten in food is very important to this group. The present study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of gluten contamination in gluten-free industrial and non-industrial products. In this systematic review, 24 cross-sectional studies were analyzed. The authors developed specific search strategies for Science Direct, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar and ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global. The authors evaluated the methodological quality of the included studies using criteria from Meta-analysis of Statistics Assessment and Review Instrument (MASTARI). We performed the statistical meta-analysis by metafor package of R program. 95.83% (n?=?23) of the studies presented positive results for contamination (over 20?ppm). In industrial food products, studies showed a contamination prevalence of 13.2% (95% CI: 10.8%–15.7%). In non-industrial food products, studies showed a contamination prevalence of 41.5% (95% CI: 16.6%–66.4%). Despite the non-industrial products presented higher contamination prevalence than the industrial products, the difference was not significant (p?=?0.072). The findings indicate cross-contamination in industrialized and non-industrialized products. As expected, industrial products labeled as gluten-free showed a lower percentage of gluten-contamination than non-industrialized. Despite that, any contaminated sample found in this group present greater relevance than non-labeled foods. It indicates that foods labeled as “gluten-free” should not be considered safe for patients with GRD since information on the label regarding the presence/absence of gluten is unreliable. Therefore, any gluten-contamination in products labeled as gluten-free is a serious problem to whom present GRD. Further studies are needed to estimate gluten cross-contamination in food service meals and industry better.  相似文献

The superconducting transition temperature, Tc, in iron-based solids can be enhanced by applied pressure: Tc increases from 8 to 37 K for the 11-type FeSe when the pressure is raised from 0 to 4 GPa. High-pressure studies can elucidate the mechanism of superconductivity in such novel materials. In this paper, we present a high-pressure study of Fe(Se1−xTex) and Fe(Se1−xSx). In the case of Fe(Se1−xTex), the maximum Tc under high pressure did not exceed the Tc of FeSe, which can be attributed to the structural transition to the monoclinic phase. For Fe(Se1−xSx) (0 < x < 0.3), Tc exhibited a significant increase with pressure; however, the maximum Tc under high pressure did not exceed the Tc of FeSe. This may be due to the disorder induced by substituting S for Se, which is similar to the pressure effect on Tc for the 1111-type superconductor Ca(Fe1−xCox)AsF. The Tc of Fe(Se1−xSx) showed a complex behavior below 1 GPa, first decreasing and then increasing with increasing pressure. From high-pressure x-ray diffraction measurements, the Tc (P) curve was correlated with the local structural parameter.  相似文献

For 2⩽k⩽n, the k-merge problem is to merge a collection of ksorted sequences of total length n into a new sorted sequence. The k-merge problem is fundamental as it provides a common generalization of both merging and sorting. The main contribution of this work is to give simple and intuitive work-time optimal algorithms for the k-merge problem on three PRAM models, thus settling the status of the k-merge problem. We first prove that Ω(n log k) work is required to solve the k-merge problem on the PRAM models. We then show that the EREW-PRAM and both the CREW-PRAM and the CRCW require Ω(log n) time and Ω(log log n+log k) time, respectively, provided that the amount of work is bounded by O(n log k). Our first k-merge algorithm runs in Θ(log n) time and performs Θ(n log k) work on the EREW-PRAM. Finally, we design a work-time optimal CREW-PRAM k-merge algorithm that runs in Θ(log log n+log k) time and performs Θ(n log k) work. This latter algorithm is also work-time optimal on the CREW-PRAM model. Our algorithms completely settle the status of the k-merge problem on the three main PRAM models  相似文献

Effective use of cache memory is getting more important with increasing gap between the processor speed and memory access speed. Also, use of multigrain parallelism is getting more important to improve effective performance beyond the limitation of loop iteration level parallelism. Considering these factors, this paper proposes a coarse grain task static scheduling scheme considering cache optimization. The proposed scheme schedules coarse grain tasks to threads so that shared data among coarse grain tasks can be passed via cache after task and data decomposition considering cache size at compile time. It is implemented on OSCAR Fortran multigrain parallelizing compiler and evaluated on Sun Ultra80 four-processor SMP workstation using Swim and Tomcatv from the SPEC fp 95. As the results, the proposed scheme gives us 4.56 times speedup for Swim and 2.37 times on 4 processors for Tomcatv respectively against the Sun Forte HPC Ver. 6 update 1 loop parallelizing compiler.  相似文献

Abstract— A reliable external‐electrode mercury fluorescent lamp (EEFL) has been developed for backlighting a liquid‐crystal‐television (LC‐TV) display. This involved the investigation of the EEFL characteristics and the improvement in the construction of the EEFL and drive waveforms, in the frequency range of 50–200 kHz, that affects the EEFL characteristics. The results showed that a sinusoidal waveform is suitable for driving the EEFL, and EEFL's voltage decreases when the frequency of the drive waveform is increased.  相似文献

The superplastic characteristics of various cation-doped yttria-stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystals (Y-TZP) were examined. For 1 mol% cation doping the true stress of Y-TZP is very dependent on the ionic radii of the doped cations; for instance, smaller cation radii give rise to lower true stress when compared with the other compositions for the same grain size, strain rate, and testing temperature. The altered true stress level must be due to the change in diffusivity of the accommodation process for grain boundary sliding caused by the addition of cations in ZrO2. The strain to failure of the doped zirconia is affected by both ionic radius and valence of the dopant cations.  相似文献

To obtain dense, fine-grained ceramics, fine particles and advanced powder processing, such as colloidal processing, are needed. Al2O3 and ZrO2 particles are dispersed in colloidal suspensions by electrosteric repulsion because of polyelectrolyte absorbed on their surfaces. However, additional redispersion treatment such as ultrasonication is required to obtain dispersed suspensions because fine particles tend to agglomerate. The results demonstrate that ultrasonication is effective in improving particle dispersion in suspensions and producing a homogeneous fine microstructure of sintered materials. Superplastic tensile ductility is improved by ultrasonication in preparing suspensions because of the dense and homogeneous fine microstructure.  相似文献

The plutonium (Pu) treated in the nuclear fuel cycle is usually accompanied by 241Am produced from 241Pu by beta disintegration, which emits gamma rays of 60 keV with the emission rate of 0.36, being more penetrating than the L X rays from Pu. The 241Am could imprve the detection limit of chest counting of Pu, if it was being used as a metabolic tracer for Pu in lungs. Young adult male Wistar rats were exposed to polydisperse aerosols of Pu(NO3)4 with 0.6 microm in activity median aerodynamic diameter. They were periodically killed and the radioactivity of 241Am was cleared from the lungs at almost the same rate as the Pu at least for half a year post-inhalation, which proved the validity of 241Am as a metabolic tracer for inhaled Pu nitrate in external chest counting.  相似文献
