Capacitance–voltage (CV) characteristic of ultrathin polyimide (PI) Langmuir–Blodgett (LB) films is discussed theoretically and experimentally taking into account the interfacial electrostatic phenomena and interfacial electronic states at the metal/PI LB film interface. It was found that the apparent film thickness decreases due to the charge exchange phenomena at the metal/film interface. It was also found that electrical insulating properties of the Au/PI LB film/Al device depended on the polarity of external voltage, probably due to the formation of the electrostatic interfacial electric field of 108 to 109 V/m. © 2000 Scripta Technica, Electr Eng Jpn 134(3): 9–15, 2001  相似文献

We have studied experimentally the shielding method of ELF magnetic field applied to the source of line conductors. For the single‐phase line current, it appears to be difficult to achieve effective shielding. On the other hand, for the balanced three‐phase conductors, including triangle and twisted configuration, a certain reduction of generated magnetic field was achieved by adjusting the configuration of conductors or by surrounding the conductors with cylindrical shielding materials made of ferromagnetic materials or nonferromagnetic metals. Normalized characteristics between phase current, distance between source current and observation point, distance between phase conductors, and the pitch of twisted cable were derived. In the present study, peel pectin jellies (PPJ) were isolated from banana peel Musa acuminata Colla (AAA, cv ‘Berangan’) varieties using water bath extraction; five jellies were produced, namely, PPJ_68%, PPJ_70%, PPJ_71%, PPJ_72%, and PPJ_76%. The effect of sugar content on the rheology of the PPJ and commercial fruit jelly was conducted at 25°C within 0.05–100 s?1 shear rate. Flow behaviour was evaluated on the test dispersions while frequency sweeps (Ea) to obtain the viscoelastic (G’ and G”) were performed on the jellies. PPJ dispersion showed shear thinning flow behaviour, a good fit to the Casson model. Sugar concentration does not affect Casson parameters (Kc, Koc, ?ca, and σoc). Frequency sweep decreased as viscosity increased which revealed high dependence for both G’ and G”. Tan δ for PPJ was more than unity which showed that jelly has less elastic properties. PPJ with the lowest sugar concentration, PPJ_68%, conducted at a high shear rate showed it was compatible with validation of the Cox–Merz rule.  相似文献

We characterized near-infrared spectra of the CH2 sequence in CH2X2 (X=halogen), CH2ClCHCl2, and CH3(CH2)5CH3. Each near-infrared absorption in the region from 3500 to 10,000 cm-1 is consistently assigned to one of the five different combination or overtone groups, in the order of increasing frequency, of the {[v(CH)]+[delta(CH)]} (A), {[v(CH)]+[2delta(CH)]} (B), [2v(CH)] (C), {[2v(CH)]+[delta(CH)]} (D), and [3v(CH)] (E) types, where v(CH) and delta(CH) denote the CH stretching and CH deformation normal modes, respectively. Each group has its own characteristic frequency zone. The bands of B, D, and E, which are second-order combinations or overtones, are weaker by 1/10-1/50 than those of A and C, which are first-order combinations or overtones. The near-infrared spectra of the CH2 sequence show "window zones" of very weak or no absorptions. This suggests that we can perceive the characteristic near-infrared bands of a functional group through the window zones, and we give an example to demonstrate this. The first-order combination bands of type A only of CH2X2 are reasonably assigned to a pair of the normal modes of v(CH) and delta(CH). From this we predict that the first-order combination bands should give structural information on the CH2 chain, similar to the infrared fundamental bands.  相似文献

The mechanism of intracellular calcium ions (Ca(2+)) increase in chicken myoblasts was studied using histological, immunohistochemical, immunoblotting and Ca(2+) imaging techniques. Mononuclear myoblasts at embryonic day 12 (E12) contained myofibrils in the peripheral cytoplasm, and the sarcoplasmic reticulum was observed in the cytoplasm. Several Ca(2+)-related receptors, namely acetylcholine (ACh) receptors, dihydropyridine receptors (DHPRs) and ryanodine receptors (RyRs), were detected in the tissue as early as E12. Western blotting analyses detected one band corresponding to RyR subtype 3 (RyR3) at E12 and two bands corresponding to RyR1 and RyR3 after E13. Ca(2+) imaging of mononuclear myoblasts in vitro revealed an intense Ca(2+)-increase response to ACh stimulation, and this effect was abolished after EGTA addition to the culture medium. Nifedipine treatment also led to a lack of Ca(2+) increase in response to ACh stimulation, while ryanodine treatment led to a weak Ca(2+)-increase response. On the other hand, multinuclear myoblasts showed a Ca(2+)-increase response to ACh stimulation in the presence of not only EGTA but also nifedipine, although ryanodine treatment led to a lack of Ca(2+) increase. These results suggest that the mechanism of Ca(2+) increase in mononuclear myoblasts involves extracellular Ca(2+) entry through DHPRs, which is amplified by Ca(2+) release from the cytoplasmic Ca(2+) store, while multinuclear myoblasts mainly depend on Ca(2+) release from the cytoplasmic Ca(2+) store.  相似文献

The interfacial characteristics of resistance spot welded steel–aluminum alloy joint have been investigated using electron microscopy. The results reveal that reaction product FeAl3 is generated in the peripheral region of the weld while a reaction layer consisting of Fe2Al5 adjacent to steel and FeAl3 adjacent to aluminum alloy forms in the central region of the weld, and that the morphology and thickness of the reaction layer vary with the position at the welding interface.  相似文献

In this study, new butt welding technique was proposed to join polymeric materials in which the polymeric material is softened by a heated tool due to the Joule effect heating of the electric current flow through the tool, and the coalescence of material is done by the stirring action due to the tool rotation. A 3 mm-thick Polycarbonate (PC) sheets were joined in various joining conditions, from which joining mechanism, mechanical properties of joints and process parameters affecting joint performance were investigated. In the experiments, in situ observation with a CCD camera and material temperature measurement during the process, as well as the observation of surface appearance and cross section of the joint and tensile test were performed for these purposes. It was shown from the in situ observation and material temperature measurement that the molten and softened region is formed around the weld tool. It was also shown that sufficient heat input was required to form sound joints with acceptable performance, which depended upon the joining speed and amount of electric current flow through the tool. The observation of joint appearance and cross section revealed that the joint with comparable thickness to base material was obtained under the condition of revolution pitch below 0.08 mm, defined by the ratio of joining speed to tool rotation. It is noticed that joints obtained from the proper conditions have the same mechanical properties as the base material, and that the process parameters of this method were tool rotation speed, welding speed and amount of electric current. These results suggest proposed method is useful for joining the polymeric materials.  相似文献

ARV1 is involved in regulating lipid homeostasis but also in the biosynthesis of glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Here, we examined whether human ARV1 can complement the role of yeast ARV1 in GPI biosynthesis. Overexpression of human ARV1 could rescue the phenotypes associated with GPI anchor synthesis defect in the yeast arv1Δ mutant. The results suggest that Arv1 function in GPI biosynthesis may be conserved in all eukaryotes, from yeast to humans. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The displacement cross-sections, implemented in the particle and heavy ion transport code system (PHITS), have been calculated to estimate the radiation damage in structural materials used at accelerator facilities. The event generator in PHITS was used to calculate displacement cross-sections for 14 elemental targets and two practical alloys irradiated with neutrons at energies from 10?10 MeV to 3 GeV, and protons and deuterons at energies from several keV to 3 GeV. These displacement cross-sections were used to estimate the displacement per atom (DPA) in the target assembly at accelerator driven system (ADS) Target Test Facility (TEF-T) using 400-MeV protons, and in the Type 316 stainless steel target using 40-MeV deuterons. For the target assembly at TEF-T using 400-MeV protons, the DPA value for the proton component was approximately twice higher than that for the neutron component. For the Type 316 target using 40-MeV deuterons, radiation damage took place near the surface of Type 316 because of the Coulomb scattering effect between the incident deuterons and the material.  相似文献
