New donor–acceptor‐type copolymers comprised of benzobisthiazole (BBTz) as a weak donor rather than acceptor are proposed. This approach can simultaneously lead to deepening the HOMO and LUMO of the polymers with moderate energy offset against fullerene derivatives in bulk heterojunction organic photovoltaics. As a proof‐of‐concept, BBTz‐based random copolymers conjugated with typical electron acceptors: thienopyrroledione (TPD) and benzothiadiazole (BT) based on density functional theory calculations are synthesized. Laser‐flash and Xe‐flash time‐resolved microwave conductivity (TRMC) evaluations of polymer:[6,6]‐phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) blends are conducted to screen the feasibility of the copolymers, leading to optimization of processing conditions for photovoltaic device application. According to the TMRC results, alternating BBTz‐BT copolymers are designed, exhibiting extended photoabsorption up to ca. 750 nm, deep HOMO (–5.5 to –5.7 eV), good miscibility with PCBM, and inherent crystalline nature. Moreover, the maximized PCE of 3.8%, the top‐class among BBTz‐based polymers reported so far, is realized in an inverted cell using TiOx and MoOx as the buffer layers. This study opens up opportunities to create low‐bandgap polymers with deep HOMO, and shows how the device‐less TRMC evaluation is of help for decision‐making on judicious molecular design.  相似文献

Primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) has a wide variation in clinical presentation and course. There is no significant correlation between these symptoms and the disease stage, although patients with more advanced stages generally have more symptoms. It is important to develop biomarkers in order to identify patients with an increased risk of complications and end-stage liver disease. This study investigated surrogate markers for risk estimation of PBC-related complications, including a study population of 77 patients with PBC who underwent liver biopsy and were measured for serum levels of macrophage activation markers, soluble CD163 (sCD163), soluble mannose receptor (sMR), and zonulin. Patients with PBC were divided into symptomatic (Group S, n = 20) and asymptomatic (Group A, n = 57) groups. The correlations of histological stages based on both Scheuer and Nakanuma classifications with the three serum markers were investigated. The Nakanuma classification involves grading for liver fibrosis and bile duct loss. The three biomarkers were assessed for their diagnostic ability to identify patients with PBC having high risk of developing complications. The predictive factors of these complications were examined as well. Group S had significantly higher serum sMR (p = 0.011) and sCD163 (p = 0.048) levels versus Group A. A composite index of sMR and sCD163 measurements had significantly better prediction performance than sCD163 alone (p = 0.012), although not when compared to sMR alone (p = 0.129). Serum sMR was an independent factor for developing complications on both univariate (Odds ratio (OR) = 30.20, 95% confidence interval (95% CI): 3.410–267.0, p = 0.00220), and multivariate (OR = 33.70, 95% CI: 3.6600–311.0, p = 0.0019) analyses. Patients with PBC having sMR of ≥56.6 had a higher incidence of clinical complications versus those with a sMR of <56.6. Serum sMR predicts the development of complications in patients with PBC. sMR plus sCD163 showed better predictive power than either marker alone, although the addition of sCD163 did not improve the predictive power of sMR. Future prospective studies are required in order to validate the findings of the present study.  相似文献

In this work, a resolved CFD–DEM coupling model for the simulation of gas-liquid-solid flows is developed: the interface capturing method based on the colour function is employed for fluids (i.e. a gas and liquid) whilst Discrete Element Method (DEM) is used for particles. The Volume Penalisation (VP) method is adopted to consider the hydrodynamic interactions between fluids and particles along with the Immersed Free Surface (IFS) method, which artificially extends the gas-liquid interface into the interior of the particle to account for the wettability. The unique point of the proposed model is that the thickness of the gas-liquid interface can be controlled by using both interface compression and diffuse interface techniques simultaneously. From the simulation results, it is presented that the accurate evaluation of the surface tension force as well as the capillary force can be achieved by appropriately controlling the interface thickness. Moreover, the major two methods in the literature to calculate the capillary force are compared in this work. The validity of the proposed model is presented for both static and dynamic cases. The behaviour of two colliding particles with a dynamic liquid bridge is then simulated to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed model to a complex three-phase system.  相似文献

In this paper, a limit bending moment equation applicable to all types of planar and non-planar flaws in wall-thinned straight pipes under bending was proposed. A system to rationally classify the planar/non-planar flaws in wall-thinned pipes was suggested based on experimental observations focused on the fracture mode. The results demonstrate the importance of distinguishing between axial and circumferential long flaws in wall-thinned pipes.  相似文献

In this paper, an image processing strain measurement system was extended so that fracture behavior of wall-thinned pipes, such as out of plane and large plastic deformation observed in bulging, can be evaluated by the system. Regular grids with nominal size of 10 mm × 10 mm were marked on 100A carbon steel pipes and the images taken with 6 CCD cameras of 15 million pixels were correlated to achieve resolution of 0.3% strain. Strain of the cylinder's outer surface was evaluated by (1) modeling the grids as a cylindrical shell, (2) measuring deformation of the grid on a projected plane, and (3) applying an updated Lagrangian method. The validity of the system was confirmed by applying the proposed system to the burst tests of a wall-thinned cylinder. In addition, the system measured the non-uniform strain distribution that explained the unexpected cracking location.  相似文献

This paper discusses an optimum design approach on robotic food handling by considering the characteristics of viscoelasticity of object. We pick up a traditional Japanese food, “Norimaki” as a typical example with the viscoelastic characteristics. We first show that the dynamic characteristics of Norimaki can be expressed by utilizing the Burger model. After testing the parameter sensitivity, we show an example of the optimum design for determining the combination of the hand stiffness and the operating velocity. We further show that the resultant plastic deformation can be formulated with the exact solution.  相似文献

Lattice lines with 1.1 nm and 0.55 nm spacings were resolved in isotactic polystyrene (i-PS) single crystals using a conventional transmission electron microscope, equipped for low dose imageing. Cellular interactions between hematopoietic cells and stromal cells play important roles in the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. The proliferation of a human erythroleukemia cell line, HEL cells, which can differentiate into macrophage- and megakaryocyte-like cells, and erythroid precursors was dramatically induced on coculture with a hematopoietic-supportive stromal cell line, HESS-5 cells, which can support long-term hematopoiesis in vitro without fetal bovine serum. HEL cells proliferated when they were cocultured with but not without direct cell contact. Because the coculture supernatants with direct cell contact and cytokines such as interleukins and growth factors did not exhibit growth-stimulating activity toward HEL cells, it was suggested that some molecule that has growth-stimulating activity exists on the surface of the cells. Extracellular matrix components such as fibronectin, laminin, vitronectin, and collagen did not affect the proliferation of HEL cells. An anti-CD18 monoclonal antibody, which recognizes the common beta chain of the beta2 integrin subfamily, induced dramatic proliferation of HEL cells. Moreover, the proliferation of HEL cells was inhibited by an antisense oligonucleotide of CD18 mRNA. As judged from these observations, the proliferation of HEL cells was mediated by CD18 molecules expressed on HEL cells. On the contrary, the common counter-receptor of the beta2 integrin subfamily, intercellular adhesion molecule-1, which is expressed on CHO-K1 cells, did not stimulate the growth of HEL cells. It is known that other counter molecules of the beta2 integrin subfamily, such as complement C3bi and fibrinogen, are not produced by stromal cells. These findings suggest that the proliferation of HEL cells may be induced through an interaction between a novel molecule of the beta2 integrin subfamily on HEL cells and the counter-receptor on HESS-5 cells. The beta2 integrin subfamily may regulate the growth of hematopoietic cells in hematopoiesis in vivo and/or cause the abnormal growth of leukemia cells.  相似文献

The patient was diagnosed to have gastric cancer (T3 N3 M0 P3, Stage IV b). We conducted LcFP therapy. CDDP, 7 mg/m2/day, day 1-5 i.v. drip for 2 hours, and 5-FU, 170 mg/m2/day, day 1-7, i.v. continuously for 24 hours. After 3 courses (one course: 4 LcFPs followed by one rest week), down staging (T3 N2 M0 P1. Stage IV a) and improvement of performance status were obtained, and then surgical resection was undertaken. After operation one course of LcFP therapy served as adjuvant chemotherapy. The patient has survived over one year and 8 months to date in a tumor-free condition. LcFP therapy promises to be useful in the clinical management of advanced gastric cancer.  相似文献
