The vibration and noise radiation from fluid-loaded cylindrical shells are controlled by using multiple stiffeners and passive constrained layer damping treatment. Dynamic and fluid finite elements are developed to study the fundamental phenomena governing the coupling between the stiffened shell, with and without damping, and the fluid domain surrounding it. The models are used to predict the response of the shell and to evaluate the effect of stiffening rings and damping treatment on both the structural vibration and noise radiation in the fluid domain. The geometry of the shell and fluid domain allows the formulation of a harmonic-based model, which uncouples the fluid–structural response of modes corresponding to different numbers of circumferential nodes.In this study, it is shown that stiffening of the shell reduces the amplitude of the vibration and noise radiation, particularly for high-order lobar modes. The attenuation of the shell response and sound radiation can be increased significantly through the application of passive constrained layer damping treatments on the inner surface of the stiffening rings.  相似文献

This paper presents a global approach to the validation of the parameters that enter into the neutronics simulation tools for advanced fast reactors with the objective to reduce the uncertainties associated to crucial design parameters. This global approach makes use of sensitivity/uncertainty methods; statistical data adjustments; integral experiment selection, analysis and “representativity” quantification with respect to a reference system; scientifically based cross-section covariance data and appropriate methods for their use in multigroup calculations. This global approach has been applied to the uncertainty reduction on the criticality of the Advanced Burner Reactor (both metal and oxide core versions) presently investigated in the frame of the GNEP initiative. The results obtained are very encouraging and allow to indicate some possible improvements of the ENDF/B-VII data file.  相似文献

东营三角洲是东营凹陷古近系沙河街组沙三段的主要沉积体系之一,为一大型复合三角洲。该三角洲形成的浊积砂体岩性圈闭是东营凹陷沙三段重要的勘探目标,近几年平均每年发现的岩性油藏石油储量超过千万吨。为了给东营三角洲隐蔽油气藏进一步的勘探提供科学依据,运用高分辨率层序地层学理论和分析方法,在建立高频层序地层格架的基础上,研究东营三角洲演化过程、古构造坡折发育类型及不同期次三角洲与构造坡折的配置关系,分析这些因素对岩性圈闭形成的重要作用,认为在进积时期推进距离较远(三角洲进积作用大于加积作用)、退积时期湖泛规模较大条件下发育的三角洲朵叶体易形成具有一定规模的浊积扇.  相似文献

Techniques based on electroosmosis have been proposed as restoration methods to reduce the moisture content in masonry subjected to capillary suction. Although several applications have been reported in the literature and beneficial effects of electroosmosis are often claimed, very little technical information is available. Quite rarely quantitative measurements of humidity changes in the masonry following the application of the current are reported. This paper reports the results of a research work aimed at studying the electroosmotic transport through porous construction materials, in order to investigate the factors that influence electroosmosis and define its actual technological applicability for the rehabilitation of damp masonry. The experimental tests showed that, for several concomitant circumstances, the chances that the technique based on electroosmosis might be effective in drying damp masonry are extremely low.  相似文献

Fully integrated low frequency filters are critical cells that should be carefully designed in order to avoid excessive area occupation. In this work we propose an automatic procedure capable of optimizing the design of Gm?CC integrators, which constitute the basis of a wide class of Gm?CC filters. The optimization target is minimizing the cell area with constraints on input range and low frequency noise. Lower and upper bounds can be fixed to most quantities and design parameters in order to avoid solutions that are not compatible with the physical limitations of the process. The program has been developed within the MATLAB? platform, exploiting the optimization toolbox. The effect of several important design parameters on the optimization of low frequency integrators has been investigated using the proposed routine. The strong interaction between noise and low frequency constraints has been demonstrated, showing the impressive impact of strict noise specifications on the occupied area. The actual effectiveness of parameters such as the current division factor or approaches such as flicker noise rejection by means of chopper modulation has been investigated. Examples of integrator synthesis, performed using the proposed procedure configured with the parameters of a commercial CMOS process, are presented. The consistence between the characteristics of the cells and the initial specifications has been checked using electrical simulations showing a maximum discrepancy with the initial specifications of nearly 80%. A semi-manual method to refine the synthesized cells and improve the accuracy is proposed.  相似文献

The numerical analysis of thermoacoustic oscillation phenomena by means of time-dependent CFD simulations usually requires a great computational effort, which may not be reasonable in industrial design. On the other hand, CFD tools provide the only approach that includes all the physical and chemical aspects involved in the thermoacoustic coupling between flame heat release and the acoustic modes of the burner/combustion chamber system. This paper presents some guidelines to reduce the computational effort required to perform a CFD analysis of the thermoacoustic oscillations with commercial codes. These guidelines are organized in a procedure that can be followed to analyze thermoacoustic coupling conditions that actually lead to unstable oscillations or are identified as potentially critical in the design phase. This procedure is also illustrated by an example of application, the partially-premixed flame type burner of a real 10 MW industrial boiler which shows noisy pressure fluctuations at a low frequency.  相似文献

Cloud-computing services are provided to consumers through a network of servers and network equipment. Cloud-network (CN) providers virtualize resources [e.g., virtual machine (VM) and virtual network (VN)] for efficient and secure resource allocation. Disasters are one of the worst threats for CNs as they can cause massive disruptions and CN disconnection. A disaster may also induce post-disaster correlated, cascading failures which can disconnect more CNs. Survivable virtual-network embedding (SVNE) approaches have been studied to protect VNs against single physical-link/-node and dual physical-link failures in communication infrastructure, but massive disruptions due to a disaster and their consequences can make SVNE approaches insufficient to guarantee cloud-computing survivability. In this work, we study the problem of survivable CN mapping from disaster. We consider risk assessment, VM backup location, and post-disaster survivability to reduce the risk of failure and probability of CN disconnection and the penalty paid by operators due to loss of capacity. We formulate the proposed approach as an integer linear program and study two scenarios: a natural disaster, e.g., earthquake and a human-made disaster, e.g., weapons-of-mass-destruction attack. Our illustrative examples show that our approach reduces the risk of CN disconnection and penalty up to 90 % compared with a baseline CN mapping approach and increases the CN survivability up to 100 % in both scenarios.  相似文献
