The enzymic hydrolysis of commercial wheat starch and freshly prepared wheat starch fractions was studied in batch and flow systems. Fresh starch was prepared by wet separation of wheat flour into starch milk and gluten, followed by processing the starch milk using a serially connected hydrocyclone system to produce underflow and overflow streams. The underflow stream consisted mainly of the larger (> 30 w m) granules, while the overflow stream contained only the smaller (< 10 w m) granules. In batch system, the hydrolysis behavior of wheat starch fractions was investigated under the action of Sigma f -amylase ( Bacillus licheniformis ), either as soon as they were prepared or after spray drying. The two fractions of fresh wheat starch showed different hydrolysis behavior, the difference getting larger as the separation improves. Underflow streams were found to be much more susceptible to hydrolysis than overflow streams, regardless of whether the hydrolysis was carried out right away or on dried samples, and also regardless of whether rinsing was applied. In flow system, dried underflow stream and commercialwheat starch were hydrolyzed using Orbamil-T ( Bacillus licheniformis ), Orbamil-BHT ( Bacillus stearothermophilus ), and Sigma f -amylase ( Bacillus licheniformis ). Hydrolysis of fresh starch was found to be significantly faster than commercial wheat starch. Commercial f -amylase Orbamil-T was found to be almost as effective as the purified Sigma f -amylase.  相似文献

The objectives of the study were to investigate the microwelding conditions related to diffusion mechanism and elemental migration metallurgical and microscopy investigation, and to establish the fundamental corrosion mechanism on the properties of small welding and brazing areas that consist different materials. This study focuses on the weldability of Ti /Ni using microspot brazing technology by selection of brazing condition current, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 and 4 kA, voltage 2 V, load 60 N and welding time 25–50 ms, this welding condition effective on brazing temperature optimization this condition. Ti and Ni were selected as base metals. Four types of metal fillers were used as filler foils, sandwiched between Ti/Ni. First type of metal fillers was, 65Ni–35Cu foil, melting point 846 °C; the second was, 71Ag–28Cu–1Mg foil, melting point 775 °C; the third was, 80Ag–18Cu–2Ti foil, melting point 782 °C; and fourthly was, 73Ni–18Cr–9Si foil, melting point 917 °C. The electrode tip face chosen was circuitous in form. All brazed joint were made by microspot brazing method. Brazing was done under normal atmospheric condition.  相似文献

Protection of multimedia information from different types of attackers has become important for people and governments. A high definition image has a large amount of data, and thus, keeping it secret is difficult. Another challenge that security algorithms must face with respect to high definition images in medical and remote sensing applications is pattern appearances, which results from existing regions with high density in the same color, such as background regions. An encryption and hiding based new hybrid image security systems are proposed in this paper for the purpose of keeping high definition images secret. First, one hiding method and two encryption methods are used in two hybrid algorithms. The new hiding algorithm proposed here starts by applying reordering and scrambling operations to the six Most Significant Bit planes of the secret image, and then, it hides them in an unknown scene cover image using adding or subtracting operations. Second, two different ciphering algorithms are used to encrypt the stego-image to obtain two different hybrid image security systems. The first encryption algorithm is based on binary code decomposition, while the second algorithm is a modification of an advanced encryption standard. After evaluating each hybrid algorithm alone, a comparison between the two hybrid systems is introduced to determine the best system. Several parameters were used for the performance, including the visual scene, histogram analysis, entropy, security analysis, and execution time.

pantograph–catenary system is one of the critical components used in electrical trains. It ensures the transmission of the electrical energy to the train taken from the substation that is required for electrical trains. The condition monitoring and early diagnosis for pantograph–catenary systems are very important in terms of rail transport disruption. In this study, a new method is proposed for arc detection in the pantograph–catenary system based signal processing and S-transform. Arc detection and condition monitoring were achieved by using current signals received from a real pantograph–catenary system. Firstly, model based current data for pantograph–catenary system is obtained from Mayr arc model. The method with S-transform is developed by using this current data. Noises on the current signal are eliminated by applying a low pass filter to the current signal. The peak values of the noiseless signals are determined by taking absolute values of these signals in a certain frequency range. After the data of the peak points has been normalized, a new signal will be obtained by combining these points via a linear interpolation method. The frequency-time analysis was realized by applying S-transform on the signal obtained from peak values. Feature extraction that obtained by S-matrix was used in the fuzzy system. The current signal is detected the contdition as healthy or faulty by using the outputs of the fuzzy system. Furthermore the real-time processing of the proposed method is examined by applying to the current signal received from a locomotive.  相似文献

Several toxic compounds are known to induce apoptosis in mammalian cell lines. The human neuroblastoma cells (SH-SY5Y) were exposed to the phosphatase inhibiting toxin okadaic acid (OA) or hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to induce apoptosis as well as generate reactive oxygen species (ROS). Mitoxantrone (MXT) was used as a positive control for apoptosis. The SH-SY5Y cells were transfected with eukaryotic expression plasmid pHyPer-dMito encoding mitochondrial-targeted fluorescent or pHyPer-dCito encoding cytoplasmic-targeted fluorescent sensor for hydrogen peroxide (HyPer). The ERp57, also called GRP58 (Glucose-regulated protein 58), is a stress protein induced in conditions like glucose starvation and viral infection. Recently ERp57 was shown to translocate from the endoplasmatic reticulum to the cell surface in anthracycline-induced apoptotic cells. ERp57 co-translocation together with calreticulin has been suggested to be crucial for recognizing tumor cells to induce immunogenic cell death. ERp57 translocation after exposure to okadaic acid was studied using immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy. These studies indicated that okadaic acid has induced the translocation of ERp57 to the cellular membrane.  相似文献
