The inter-comparative analysis of the deterministic safety potential of innovative molten salt systems with critical and sub-critical cores is presented for both fast and thermal neutron spectra. The analysis includes two aspects: the choice of an initial level of sub-criticality and the study of multiple unprotected transients which have been simulated on the basis of one-point kinetics and two-point thermo-hydraulic schemes considering realistic feedback effects. Our preliminary results show that even small levels of sub-criticality (2–3 dollars) of cores can improve their safety characteristics significantly. 相似文献

Identification of anthocyanins in the wine made of the Croatian autochthonous grape variety of Babić (Vitis vinifera L.) was carried out and their profile was determined by means of high-performance liquid chromatography with diode array
and mass spectrometric detection. Dependence of anthocyanins content and profile on maceration treatment conditions was investigated.
Statistically significant differences of anthocyanins concentration in wines Babić produced by various maceration treatments
were confirmed by the use of multivariate analysis of variances. The investigation results indicated that the maceration temperature
exerts higher influence on anthocyanins concentration than the duration of maceration. In addition, on the basis of anthocyanin
composition and using different multivariate statistical analyses, differentiation of wines Babić according to maceration

This paper analyzes the performance of a switching architecture. The performance measures include the elapsed time of packet transfer and the waiting time to begin transfer. The architecture is partitioned depending on the type of network used and the expected traffic in the network. Every partition has a switch with a buffer that can absorb surges of bursty traffic within the network partition. The buffer size depends on the type of the network and incoming traffic. The partition size depends on the network bandwidth, network traffic, packet size and buffer size. Examples of different networks are used to show the applications of the model. Multi-valued and universal binary neurons (MVN and UBN) are the neural processing elements with the complex-valued weights and high functionality. It is possible to implement an arbitrary mapping described by partially defined multiple-valued function on the single MVN. An arbitrary mapping described by partially defined or fully defined Boolean function, which can be non-threshold, may be implemented on the single UBN. The quickly converging learning algorithms exist for both types of neurons. Such features of the MVN and UBN may be used for solving the different problems. One of the most successful applications of the MVN and UBN is their usage as basic neurons in the Cellular Neural Networks (CNN). It opens the new effective opportunities in nonlinear image filtering and its applications to noise reduction, edge detection and solving of the super resolution problem. ZnO-based varistor samples were prepared by the direct mixing of the constituent phases (DMCP) and sintering at 1100 °C for 2 h. The influence of the starting powder mixture's composition – the amounts of the pre-reacted varistor compounds and their composition – and its preparation, either with or without mechano-chemical activation (MCA), on the microstructure, phase composition and electrical characteristics of the varistor samples was studied. It showed that MCA improved the density and microstructural homogeneity of the varistor samples. MCA strongly affected the grain growth: it enhanced the nucleation of inversion boundaries (IBs) in the ZnO grains and the IBs-induced grain-growth mechanism resulted in uniform grain growth and hence a microstructure with smaller ZnO grains and a narrower grain size distribution. The final phase composition of the samples prepared by the DMCP method mainly depended on the presence of varistor dopants that can prevent the formation of the pyrochlore phase, especially Cr2O3, while MCA can affect it mostly by providing a homogeneous distribution of those dopants. The DMCP varistor samples prepared with MCA had much better current–voltage characteristics than the samples of the same composition prepared from unactivated powders. 相似文献

A concept of business intelligent system for financial prediction is considered in this paper. It provides data needed for

is taken into account. Methodological aspects have been tested in practice as a part of the management information system
development project of “Novi Sad Fair”. A case study of an improved application of CBR in prediction of future payments is

We use field trial results obtained from a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) wireless system with two transmitter and three receiver antennas (2/spl times/3), to first validate the properties of the transmit correlation matrix in a macro-cellular environment. We find that approximately 20% of the locations have well-defined transmit correlation matrices. Furthermore, the eigenvectors of the transmit correlation matrix vary slowly over distance with 60% of the locations having eigenvector variation of less than 1 dB over a distance of 20 m. Next, we quantify the performance of the optimal statistical linear precoding (OSLP) , and statistical one-dimensional (1-D) eigenbeamforming (SEB) based on transmit correlation matrices, and the 1-D eigenbeamforming (EB)-based on perfect channel knowledge at the transmitter. We find that the OSLP and SEB schemes obtain array gain over the Alamouti scheme at lower signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) with a median gain of 2.0 (1.5) dB at the 1.0-(3.5) km cell-radii. However, the SEB scheme (unlike the OSLP scheme) looses diversity order at higher SNR that leads to a performance loss.
