Microfission chambers (MFCs) will measure the total neutron source strength in ITER. The MFCs will be installed behind blanket modules in the vacuum vessel (VV). Triaxial mineral insulated (MI) cables will carry signals from the MFCs. The joint connecting triaxial MI cables in the VV must be considered because the MFCs and the MI cables will be installed separately at different times. Vacuum tight triaxial connector of the MI cable has been designed and a prototype has been constructed. Performance tests indicate that the connector can be applied to the ITER environment. A small bending-radius test of the MI cable indicates no observed damage at a curvature radius of 100 mm. 相似文献

The thermodynamic quantities of metals and alloys are studied using the moment method in the quantum statistical mechanics, going beyond the quasi-harmonic approximations. Including the power moments of the atomic displacements up to the fourth order, the free energy, specific heats Cv and Cp, mean square atomic displacements and thermal lattice expansion coefficients are derived explicitly in terms of the second and fourth order vibrational coupling constants. The thermodynamic quantities are calculated both for cubic (fcc and bcc) and closed packed hexagonal (hcp) metals. The Lennard–Jones type of potentials as well as the effective interatomic potentials derived from the tight-binding (TB) total energy calculation scheme are used. The calculated thermodynamic quantities are favorably compared with the experimental results. For the calculations of alloys, we investigate the effects of thermal lattice vibration on the long range order (LRO) parameter and order–disorder transitions of the ordered binary alloys. 相似文献

We evaluated the effectiveness and safety of vancomycin (VCM) alone and in combination with beta-lactam antibiotics in the treatment of MRSA infections, and obtained the following results: 1. Effectiveness. (1) In cases of MRSA infections alone, the improvement rate was 71.4% (5/7 patients) with VCM alone and 77.8% (35/45) with VCM in combination with beta-lactam antibiotics. (2) In cases of polymicrobial infections, few cases were treated with VCM alone, but the improvement rate in combination use with beta-lactam antibiotics was 71.8% (28/39). 2. Bacteriological effect. (1) In cases of single infection with MRSA, the rate of bacterial eradication was 71.4% (5/7) with VCM alone and 68.2% (30/44) with VCM in combination with beta-lactam antibiotics. (2) In cases of polymicrobial infections, few cases were treated with VCM alone, but the rate of bacterial eradication in combination use with be ta-lactam antibiotics was 63.2% (24/38) against MRSA and 31.6% (12/38) against polymicrobial agents including MRSA. 3. Safety. Occurrences of adverse reactions and abnormal laboratory test values when VCM was used alone or when it is used in combination with another drug were about the same in these uses. As a whole, advance reactions were observed in 16 patients (9.5%). Main adverse reactions were whole body redness, drug eruption, and rash etc. Abnormal laboratory test values were observed mainly in hepatic functions, and renal functions. 4. VCM concentrations in blood was determined in 38 patients. Doses of 0.5 g and 1.0 g of VCM was administered by intravenous drip infusion over a period of 1 to 2 hours, and mean blood concentrations 1 to 2 hours after the completion of drip infusion were 25.4 micrograms/ml and 14.4 micrograms/ml, respectively. 5. Synergic effects between VCM and other antibiotics tested were observed in FIC index against all of the six MRSA strains isolated from six patients, and the clinical effects of improvement or better were obtained against five of them. 相似文献

Aeration is one of the most important processes for waste water treatment. Traditionally, only the cost has been taken into account as a criterion to be optimized in the design of the aeration process. It is highly desirable that two additional criteria be considered. They are satisfaction of the environmental constraint and reduction of the uncertainty caused by the variation in the rate of waste water inflow. Consideration of the three criteria naturally gives rise to a multi-objective optimization problem. The ε-constraint method is employed to generate the trade-off surface that contains the non-inferior solutions. The interactive coordinatewise optimization method, a version of the SWT method, is employed for selection of the preferred solution. Fieldbus-based control systems (FCS) have been increasingly used in process automation. Some processes and dynamic specifications need higher control frequencies to avoid instability. The aim of this paper is to analyze the temporal characteristics of communication and computation tasks and the configuration of the function blocks in a FCS and to allow the control interval to be shortened. An FCS for a water tank process is used as a case study. The experimental results show that the execution time of function blocks and the margin time are dominant over communication delays, and optimizing configuration by reducing the number of external links can contribute to increasing the control frequency. 相似文献

We present a two-dimensional simulation model to explore cake formation in cross-flow filtration. The model uses the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) for fluid computation and the discrete element method (DEM) for particle computation; they were fully coupled with the smoothed profile method. We verified our model by simulating filtration under different transmembrane pressures. We then investigated the effects of attractive forces and particle concentration on the cake formation mechanism. Generally, as the attractive interaction and particle concentration increased, the particles formed a cake layer with a looser body and rough surface, due to the decrease in the mobility of the particles in contact with the cake surface. It is concluded that the effects of particle concentration are affected by the different conditions of attractive interactions between the particles. 相似文献

Ever since 1974, the cadaver has been embalmed by the arterial embalming method, using pre-embalming fluid with blood clot disperser and cell conditioner for the removal of blood clots and drainage of blood, at the Department of Anatomy of the Kawasaki Medical School. According to this method, the cadavers are always very well fixed so that they can be used for not only anatomical dissection but also research for the vascular system by vasography, kinematics of the joint and other histologic examinations. A Hi-Fi audio codec with an improved adaptive transform coding (ATC) algorithm is presented using digital signal processors (DSPs). An audio signal with a 20 kHz bandwidth sampled at 48 kHz is coded at a rate of 128 kb/s. The algorithm utilizes adaptive block size selection, which is effective for preecho suppression. A modified discrete cosine transform (MDCT) with a simple window set is employed to reduce block boundary noise without decreasing the performance of transform coding. In addition, a fast MDCT calculation algorithm, based on a fast Fourier transform, is adopted. Weighted bit allocation is employed to quantize the transformed coefficients. The codec was realized by a multiprocessor system composed of newly developed DSP boards. The stress concentration during the loading and unloading processes of transient creep is investigated for a strip with semi circular notches by means of the photo-viscoplasticity, using specimens of celluloid at 65C. The relations between the stress concentration factor, the geometries of strips, and time during the loading and unloading processes are derived from the time dependent variations of isochromatic fringe orders. Such trends cannot be analysed by the ordinary photoplasticity in which the time effect is not taken into account. 相似文献
